Installation and maintenance work may only be carried out when the device is
not under pressure.
Installation and maintenance work may only be carried out by trained and
experienced stuff.
Disconnect power supply before installation or any maintenance work.
Electrical work must always be carried out by qualified electrician.
Do not exceed max. operating pressure or operating temperature range (see
data label).
Do not use the device in hazardous areas with potentially explosive
atmospheres.
Use original spare parts only.
Use the device for the appropriate purpose only.
Appropriate use
AWS-C tyre inflation controller is intended exclusively for the following purpose:
Indication of pressure in tyres/pneumatics
Correction of pressure in tyres (fill/release pressure)
Any other form of use or one going beyond this shall be considered as inappropriate. We
shall have no liability whatsoever for any damage incurred as a result.

Installation
AWS-C controller can be installed in two ways .
Picture 3: Mounting on the wall Picture 4: Mounting in the housing
MOUNTIN ON THE WALL
To mount controller on the wall brackets have to be aligned to back side of the controller.
MOUNTING IN THE HOUSING
To mount controller on the wall brackets have to be aligned to front side of the controller.
Connect Inlet connection (picture 1) with source of compressed air.
Connect outlet connection (picture 1) with tyre inflation hose.
Connect the controller to the el. (Electrical work must always be carried out by
qualified electrician)
Quality of the compressed air on the inlet is essential for reliable operating of the controller.
Recomended air quality 3/-/- ISO8573 (pre-filter 3mm).
If compressed air is not dry enough condensation may appear. When device is expected to
operate in temperature below 0°C condense can cause malfunction of the device due to
freezing.

Start up
At start-up light and audible signal will appear for short time. On the display information
about firmware appear for short time.

Inflation procedure / pressure correction
Controller has three modes:
Sleep mode.
Set target pressure mode.
Inflation /pressure correction mode.
SLEEP MODE
When controller is not active (no button is pressed) for more than two minutes it goes
to »sleep mode«. In this mode logo appear and target pressure goes to default value
2 bar.
Picture 6: Logo
If we press any button device will go from »sleep mode« to »set target pressure
mode«. If we connect hose to the tyre during »sleep mode« inflation will not start
automatically.

7
SET TARGET PRESSURE MODE
In this mode we can set target pressure in tyre by pressing + and – buttons. Target
pressure value is located in right upper part of display.
Picture 7: Set target pressure
The lowest target pressure value is 0,5 bar. Target pressure can be set in resolution
0,1 bar. The highest target pressure value is 9,5 bar. The highest target pressure
value can be limited to value 8bar, 6,5bar or 5bar. For limitation please contact
manufacturer.
After target pressure is set user can connect hose to the tyre and inflation will start
automatically unless pressure in the tyre is below 0,3 bar. In this case you need to
press button for manual start.
If additional safety is required manufacturer can change firmware so that confirmation
is required before inflation starts.
Picture 8: Confirm start of inflating
Attention
If user presses button for manual start of inflation before hose is connected to the
tyre air will start to blow out of the hose under high pressure. This can be dangerous.

Inflation / pressure correction
During inflation / pressure correction controller is trying to equalize actual pressure
with set target value. Actual pressure in tyre is displayed in the center of display
during the inflation /pressure correction procedure. Small number in upper right
corner of display is target pressure.
Picture 9: Actual pressure and target pressure values
End of tyre inflation /pressure correction is signalized by audible and visual signal.
After that user can disconnect hose from the tyre and controller will automatically
switch to »set target pressure mode«. If next tyre is inflated within 2 minutes target
pressure value remains the same as it was for previous inflation.
Attention
To interrupt inflation /pressure correction press any button.
Checking pressure in the tyre
If we want to check actual pressure in the tyre without any correction we must set
target pressure to 0bar. Now controller will behave as manometer.
Picture 10: Checking pressure in the tyre mode
To check pressure in the tyre we must connect hose to the tyre and press button for
manual stard. Now we can measure pressure in the range from 0 up to 9,9 bar.

To switch back to »set target pressure mode« press any button

Language selection
Information on display can be present in four preset languages (default + three
additional languages). Language can be changed by pressing + button. When
controller goes to »sleep mode« selected language goes to default language.
