01. THE DEVICE
General
This manual is an integral and essential part of the device and must be delivered to the end user and
the specialized technician. The device is designed for professional hygiene of environments and must
only be used for which it is designed. i.e. professional hygiene of environments. The manufacturer
disclaims any liability in relation to incorrect use of the device, lack of maintenance or operations
that differ from what is set forth in this user and maintenance manual. The device must be installed
in accordance with current regulations regarding power supply.
Sanity Air reserves the right to modify the product and technical documentation without incurring
any obligations to third parties and assumes no responsibilities for errors or inaccuracies in the
content of this manual. This document describes several device features from the date this
publication is licensed for printing.
In case of failure and/or malfunction of the device, turn it off with the on/off button (disconnect the
power supply). Any repair of the product must only be performed by a manufacture authorized
Support center, using original spare parts.
Non-compliance with the previous text may compromise the security of the device. To ensure the
efficiency of the device for proper operation, it is essential to carry out routine maintenance
operations by a specialized technical staff or authorized Support Center. User and maintenance
engineers should always consult this document.

Manufacture identification
Sanity Air is available for technical issues and spare parts orders. The manufacture disclaims all
liabilities for any deterioration on the performance of the device for damage caused by the use of
non-original spare parts.
Equipment identification
The Sanity Air equipment nameplate is located on the back of the device and contains the following
information: model, serial number of the device and all the technical data necessary to order spare
parts or report technical problems to the service center.

02. PRECAUSTIONS BEFORE USE
Always follow the precautions below to avoid risk of serious injury, serious damage to people or
things, due to electric shocks, short circuits, fires or other hazards!
Electrical power supply
Keep the power cord away from heat sources, avoid over-bending and do not damage it in any way.
Use only the correct voltage specified for the device and detailed in this manual.
Use ONLY THE APPROPRIATE POWER CORD, the use of inadequate power cords may cause
overheating or short circuiting.
Periodically check and clean the power cord and electrical plug, eliminating dirt or accumulated dust.
Do not handle the electrical outlet with wet hands.
CAUTION: Under no circumstance open or alter the device. Maintenance or repair must be
performed by technical staff of an authorized service Centre, other than doing so will automatically
result in IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION OF THE WARRANTY.

03. GENERAL WARNINGS
This manual has been prepared to provide the end user with all the information necessary for the
installation, use and maintenance of the Sanity Air, in order to facilitate the normal execution of its
function. It also lists all useful procedures for dealing with any reasonably foreseeable emergency
that may occur during use in the manner prescribed by the manufacture. Therefore, it is essential to
strictly comply with the provisions of this manual: a necessary condition for the safe and compliant
operation of the device. The manual contains specifications on the operation, maintenance and
safety of both equipment and people and/or things that encounters it must be carefully protected.
Before using the equipment
Knowledge of the information and requirements contained in this manual are essential for
installation and correct use by the user. The manufacture declines all liability due to negligence of
non-compliance with the prescribed. Ensure that the installation and electrical connection is
performed by a qualified technician authorized by the manufacture, in accordance with the
manufacture’s instruction and local regulations in force.
After unpacking the equipment, make sure it is not damaged. The electrical system to which it is
connected must be equipped with effective grounding in accordance with the law.
ELECTRIC NETWORK DANGER
Always disconnect the power supply from the device before use, repair, or maintenance work, thus
to avoid health risks and damage. Do not pull the cord while the device is operational to unplug or
transport it.
The device requires regular periodic maintenance to ensure the operational requirement declared by
the manufacturer.
The room that will house the system, materials, accessories, and consumer products must comply
with the storage, use and safety requirements of the regulations in force. The equipment should be
used for the specific use for which it was intended i.o air treatment. The manufacturer is not
responsible and assumes no responsibility for the consequences of incorrect use of the equipment.
Any malfunction of the system should be reported immediately to the Support center or distributor.
Sanity Air is not responsible for the consequences or prolonged use of the device that has revealed
anomalies. The manufacturer disclaims all liability for any damage to persons or things caused by
non-compliance with what is reported in this manual. Also, the manufacturer disclaims all liability
caused to persons or things as a result of repairs not performed by professionally qualified and
authorized personnel. In such event this would result in the cancellation of the warranty: including
the necessary periodic care and maintenance of the device.

In accordance with current legislation, the device must be connected to a power outlet equipped
with an efficient grounding. The device operates at 230Vac-50Hz; voltage. Variations greater than 5%
of the nominal value can damage the electrical parts. The device is free of radio interference in
accordance with EEC Directive 87/308 of 14/04/1989.
Technical specialist
Before carrying out any type of operation on the equipment, the following safety precautions should
be followed:
• Carefully read and follow all instructions reported in the manual.
The manufacturer disclaims all liability with respect to the use of equipment in case of non-
compliance with the requirements of the manual provided as an integral part of the supply.
1. The device should only be used by adults. Ensure that children do not play with the controls
or the device itself.
2. Packaging elements should not be left within reach of children as a potential source of
danger.
3. During the warranty period, no interventions can be performed without the prior
authorization of the support center, distributor, or manufacturer. If this is not accounted for,
the warranty will end automatically.
4. The manufacturer reserves the right to modify the product and related technical
documentation without incurring any obligation to third parties.
Waste
The “WEEE Decree” (Waste electrical and electronic equipment) is Italy’s transposition
of European Directives 2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC on restricting the
use of certain hazardous substances in electrical equipment and in end-of life
management.
The WEEE logo (shown on this page) on the product or sales package indicates that the product in
question should not be disposed in household waste.
It is the user’s responsibility to dispose the system or components that can no longer be used in
accordance with current regulations.
The product must not be disposed as special waste and must be delivered to a collection center
suitable for recycling electrical and electronic equipment.
The UVC lamp inside the equipment is made of materials that can be recovered and recycled in order
to protect the environment. Once the life cycle is completed, it is recommended that they will be
placed in closed containers to avoid breakage and send it to an authorized collection center.

04. TECHNOLOGY
The device is intended only for STERILIZATION OF ENVIRONMENTS to reduce the bacterial, fungal,
and viral load of the environment. This allows you to reduce the chance of cross infection. The device
can be used in all environments where it’s important to reduce micro bacterial contamination
(hospitals, nursing homes, medical offices, public environments, means of transportation, motor
vehicle accessories, food companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc.). It should always be used
strictly in compliance with the provisions and warning contained in this manual.
The process is to attract air and circulate the filtered and disinfected air, inside, by the Sanity Air. The
suspended droplets are purified by active carbon filters while the entire air volume is sterilized by
ultraviolet rays (UVC), thus ending with any pathogens it may contain, all without adding chemical or
biocides that may be harmful to our health.
The result is clean air; free of infectious appends and harmless tot health and the environment.

Plus (XL).

05. INSTALLATION AND USE
The device is wrapped in a polyethylene sheet of bubbles and contained in a cardboard box.
Handle the device with the necessary care (fragile materials). Be careful not to throw any parts of the
device.
The manufacturer declines all responsibilities with respect to the installation of the device, therefore,
any damage to things and / or persons attributable to them IS NOT IN ANY CASE attributable to the
manufacturer. The device is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose psychical or
mental abilities are reduced, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they are able to benefit,
through the intermediation of a person responsible for their safety, surveillance, or instruction on
the use of it.
The manufacturer disclaims all liability for any damage caused to persons or things arising from
modifications, accessories, or the use of non-original spare parts.
The packaged device must be stored in a dry (non-condensing) environment, protected from bad
weather. The allowed temperature is +0oC +40oC.
The manufacture medleys all liability for any damage attributable to transportation.

06. SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
With the Sanity Air it is possible to hygienize the environment of an enclose space continuously and
without the need for people to be absent from the enclosure. Below are the different steps that
needs to be followed to carry out the commissioning of the Sanity Air.

Step 1. Place the mold against the wall where the Sanity Air will be hung.
Step2. Place a level on top of the mold to confirm it is level.
Step 3. Use a pencil to mark a dot in each mounting hole.
Step 4. Use a drill bit to create the holes in the wall. Depending on the type of the wall you need to
use plugs before installation.
Step 5. Screw the lower wall mount onto the wall by using two screws.
Step 6. Screw the upper wall mount onto the wall by using two screws.
Step 7. Place the Sanity Air onto the lower mount (1).
Step 8. Fix the Sanity Air onto the upper mount (2) by using a hex key.
Step 9. Place the power supply onto the Sanity Air and turn on the switch to “I”. To switch off turn
the button to “0”.

WARNING!
• Place the Sanity Air leveled to the wall.
• The recommended installation height is approximately 150 cm from the ground. Do not
block both ends. Free entry and exit are necessary.
• The Sanity Air must be turned off for at least 1 hour every day.
• The ventilation openings should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings in
anyway.
• Never open the cover of the Sanity Air!
• If the cover of the Sanity Air is open and turned on. Immediately turn off the Sanity Air.
• Exposure to UV light is harmful for eyes and skin. If exposed to UV light it is recommended to
immediately contact a medical specialist!
• Do not attempt to modify this product in anyway without written authorization from
supplier. An authorized modification could void the users authority to operate this product.
• The Sanity Air shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing!
