
Troubleshooting
The following tables should assist you in troubleshooting your UPS. For additional assistance on troubleshooting
please contact your help des . If further assistance is needed or you are unsure of the steps to follow, you can
contact ONEAC Technical Support at 800-327-8801 Opt. 3. They can assist you with:
1. Order replacement batteries.
2. Request service for unit not operating properly (obtain RMA# for return to factory for service)
3. Help troubleshoot any operational problems in the field.
• Under certain conditions your ONePlus UPS will give an audible alarm alerting you to a condition other
than normal operation. Your UPS may be operating on battery bac up due to a power outage, power
fluctuation or some other power anomaly. No service is required under most circumstances. The UPS will
return to normal operation on its own. See below for definitions of LED's and alarm status configurations.
Problem Possible Cause Solution
Front Panel Switch not engaged Press the Power Switch
and hold for 3 seconds.
UPS's input circuit brea er tripped.
Reduce the load on the UPS by unplugging the
loads and press the circuit brea er in on the rear
panel.
Unit not plugged in Plug unit into the wall outlet.
UPS will not turn ON
No Batteries installed or defective
batteries.
Chec for batteries or contact ONEAC Technical
Services for replacement
UPS's input circuit brea er tripped.
Reduce the load on the UPS by unplugging the
loads and press the circuit brea er in on the rear
panel.
High or low line voltage. Contact qualified electrician.
UPS operates on battery
even with line voltage
present.
Out of frequency range. Chec UPS compatibility with power source.
Site Wiring Fault is ON.
Ground wire connection does not
exist. Line and neutral wires are
reversed in the line receptacle.
Contact qualified electrician. (Note: the UPS
operates while the Site Wiring Fault is ON but
may not provide rated noise and surge
suppression.)
Audible Alarm is
sounding.
See Table 4," System Code status
Chart," on next page.
To Silence the alarm for an existing fault, press
the
button. If the UPS status changes, the alarm
will sound again. The alarm will not silence
if there is a UPS fault, low battery condition, or if
the battery needs to be replaced.
If yellow LED is blin ing, the battery
needs to be replaced. Contact ONEAC for replacement.
Fault LED is ON If yellow LED is off or on solid,
there is an internal UPS fault. Contact ONEAC Technical Services.
If yellow LED is blin ing, there is no
battery connected or detected.
• Chec Battery connection or
• Replace battery.
Fault LED is blin ing If green LED is blin ing or Off, the
output is overloaded.
Reduce load on the UPS (disconnect one or more
devices) and restart the UPS.
Over Temperature LED
is ON UPS is overheated.
• Operating environment is too hot.
• Vent openings are bloc ed -2" clearance.
• Load too high.
