QUICK START GUIDE


Thank you for purchasing a Twin Board.
This board has been designed for a quick and easy assembly. Please
follow the instructions in this Quick Guide. The first assembly of the
unit will take approximately 15 min. It is extremely important that these
procedures are carried out correctly.
This guide contains information about the assembly and the use of the
Twin.
Please read the entire guide before using this product. It is the
customer’s responsibility to use the product supplied by AquilaBoards in
a secure way following the indicated guidelines. The company won’t be
responsible for any damages occurred to the customer or the unit due
to an inappropriate use.
• Always check the unit before entering the water
• Avoid entering the water through wave braking areas
• Always wear the leash attached
• Never insert hands or feet inside the jet unit
• Be aware that the board doesn´t have a break
• Don´t touch the Jet Units stainless steel tube after use

INITIAL ASSEMBLY AND CONFIGURATION
The board incorporates inserts for goofy and regular riders.
1. Depending on the style of riding, place the footstraps over the
desired inserts. One on the front of the board and one on the
back. Never use the footstrap or leash screws in case you want to
position a footstrap on the Battery inserts. You must always use
the screws from the handle, shorter than the leash and foostraps
inserts.
2. Place the screw through the screw insert and hold the footstrap.
3. Align the holes. Screw the footstrap and secure it.

1. Insert the screw through the insert and hold the leash.
2. Align the holes with the insert located on the left-hand lower side
of the board.
3. Screw the leash to the board and verify its correct positioning.

In the bottom part of the Battery you will find two holes where the
Battery will be connected with the board. Please, screw the female
connectors using the screwdriver provided in the tooling kit.

In order to insert the fins, flip over the board and place it over a flat
surface.
1. Insert the n inside the n box as shown in the picture.
2. Insert the metallic square and align the holes.
3. Screw the ns to the insert and verify its correct positioning.

recharging the Battery
You will need to charge the Battery before using it for the rst time.
1. Always connect the charger to the wall outlet rst.
2. Then, connect it to the Battery.
• It is extremely important to respect the connector colours (red
with red and black with black). Reverse polarity could damage
the Battery irreversibly.
• The Battery will be fully charged when all LEDs turn o.
• Store the Battery always below 20% of charge. LED bar must be
only showing one LED.

TWIN
1. Please check that the watertight seal and the frame are clean,
without sand or signs of deterioration. Check the Battery
compartment and make sure it doesn´t contain any water.
2. Turn the drain cap 360º counter-clock wise. Place the Battery over
the pad, near the compartment where the Battery must be inserted.
3. Grab the Battery by the top handle and insert it in the
compartment. The connection receptor will light up indicating a
successful connection.
4. Once the Battery is inserted in the board, insert the four pins to
lock the Battery. If the pins do not enter easily, please, press down
on the Battery so the watertight seal is suciently compressed.
5. Turn the drain cap clock wise until locked to assure water tightness.

Place the Drop near the Battery display, the LED indicator will show the
remaining battery.

Before using the unit for the first time, the cylindrical magnet must be
inserted in the hole inside the battery compartment. A sticker is provided
inside the magnet’s plastic bag that must be placed after inserting the
magnet. The entire space must be covered to avoid water inside the magnet
compartment.

It is crucial to carry a proper and easy maintenance for a long-lasting
use of your jetboard. Have a look to the Full User’s Manual at your login

Once that the rst two LEDs are ashing you must press on the drop
to access this submenu. The top LED display bar will progressively
complete. Press on the Drop to set a new prole depending on the
following functions.
Through the Wireless Controller the customer is able to limit the
maximum power as well as select the prole that best adapts to their
style of riding.
In order to access the menu, you must proceed with the following
indications, always with the board initially disconnected (without
Battery). Make sure the Wireless Controller is totally o (no LEDs).
1. Place the Drop over the Onean logo and press on it, as indicated in
the following image. Instead of placing the Drop, you can also place
a magnet, like the leash magnet, over the Onean logo and press the
Drop.
2. Continue to press on the Drop. The LED display in the Battery
indicators will begin to progressively light up. Each blinking LED
indicates a dierent setting.
Once the third LED begins to blink, you must press on the drop to access
the submenu. After that, the top LED display bar will progressively
complete. Press on the Drop to set a new profile depending on the
desired phase.
• 1 LED: 5 power levels.
• 2 LEDs: 3 power levels.
• 3 LEDs: similar to E2 with more power on the second level.
• 4 LEDs: 0 to 100%, designed for experienced riders.
• 5 LEDs: linear power depending on the pressure.
WIRELESS CONTROLLER
Make sure the Battery is not inserted before you proceed with this
operation. Press the drop when the first LED begins to blink. The
Wireless Controller will enter search mode until a board is detected
and the sync light will turn on.
Place the Battery inside its compartment. The sync light of the
wireless controller will blink indicating a successful synchronization.

Place the Drop over the Onean logo and press on the drop only one
time instead of holding it pressed.
The controller will show the preferences for each category.

DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
The 2021 Twin board comes with a Built-in Diagnosis System (DS).
While pressing the Wireless Controller´s drop with the board in use,
the wireless controller will display any error concerning the turbines,
ECU, battery, leash and switch.
The error will display during 15 seconds in the display of the Wireless
Controller.
a) turBine #1 failure
The rst LED of the Wireless Controller will start blinking when Turbine #1 does not work. The board will not
function. Contact with your nearest dealer or Onean.
B) turBine #2 failure
The second LED of the Wireless Controller will start blinking when the board stops working after 2 seconds. This
means failure in Turbine #2. Contact with your nearest dealer or Onean.
c) ecu failure
The third LED will start blinking when there is a problem with the ECU. The jetboard will not work. Contact with
your nearest dealer or Onean.
d) Battery failure
The Battery can not power the turbines. Check and tighten the battery´s female connectors and board´s male
connectors. In case that the failure presists, contact your nearest dealer or Onean.
e) leash failure
This means the Leash magnet is not placed on the killswitch. You only have to position it on its place and
continue riding.
f) sWitch failure
LED 1 and 4 means failure in the switch of the Turbine #1. LED 2 and 5 means failure in the switch of the
Turbine #2. Contact with your nearest dealer or Onean.

FIRST USE
• Do not activate the jet outside of the water. The propulsion
system is not meant to be used outside of the water, this could
signicantly damage the jet.
• After a long use going full thrust, it´s recommendable to wait at
least one minute for the jet not to overheat.
• It is not recommendable to step on the battery surface. Although
it’s designed to hold weight, when stepping on it, the watertight
seal compresses facilitating water to get in.
• The Twin board is suitable for fresh and salt water use. Ideal
conditions are with no wind and at water.
• Be aware of local regulations before using and the areas where
this kind of equipment is eligible for use.
• Taking into account that the jet sucks water through the intake
it is important to look for water that is free of oating elements
at which to practice this sport. Floating elements could cause
damage to the rotating components inside the waterjet.
• The Twin Board has not been designed to be used at wave
breaking areas. Please look for an area of calm waters to enter
the water.
• Taking into account the high speeds and maneuverability of the
board, it’s important to use the Twin board at large open spaces
free of obstacles.
• Be aware of the tides. With the sea level changes, new obstacles
may arise depending on the tide.
• Avoid using this product in the vicinity of other people, vessels or
objects that may compromise the user’s or board’s security.
• Avoid crowded beaches and always respect the navigation
channels.
• In case of entering the water through the beach, make use of the
marked areas that allow the entry and exit of watercrafts.
• It is advisable not to overturn/ip the board in the water.
• Do not grab or lift the board by the discharge connectors.
• Do not remove the goretex vent in the back of the board.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
• This board could reach high speeds. It is recommendable to use a
life vest and a helmet while operating this product.
• Do not go further off shore than you can return swimming and
always have someone watching from shore. Do not operate this
product alone.
• Be aware of climate changes or any other sudden change in the
located area (tides, shallow waters,..). Do not use this product
during thunderstorms.
• Do not use this product near swimmers or scuba divers.
• Make sure that the water is deep enough to operate this board, be
aware of coral reefs.
• Do not operate in areas of high current or waves. The Twin is not
meant to be used to surf waves. In case of being tilted by a wave,
the rider could suer severe damages.
• Do not use it behind another board. In case of doing so, make sure
you have enough space to turn in case the rider ahead falls.
GENERAL SECURITY MEASURES
During the rst uses it is recommendable to use it on your knees.
1. Get on top of the board with the leash attached and the magnetic
key connected. You should place your knees on each side of the
front footstrap.
2. After being positioned, press on the drop to activate the jet. The
power will vary depending on the pressure being put on the drop.
3. Once you gain speed you can progressively stand on it.
Make sure not to accidentally press on the drop while getting on or o
the board.
Before turning, make sure there is enough space to do so
and not interfere with the trajectory of any other vehicle.
Shift the weight towards the side where you intend to turn to ease the
movement. The more speed, the easier it will be to turn. The board
turns like a conventional board.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES FOR ONEAN POWER BATTERY
• Lithium-Ion Batteries have been known to catch re. Always recharge and store the Battery
under supervision in a dry and safe place.
Onean Battery Pack is a high power Lithium-Ion energy storage system made up of powerful chemical elements. For your safety, it is imperative that you
obey the following indications. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, re and/or serious injury.
The Battery provided by Onean incorporates the latest generation cells from the main manufacturers. These cells are managed by an electronic
system that provides all the necessary protections to work within the recommended parameters according to the manufacturers. The entire pack has
been exhaustively tested by the development team, and later on certied by a third party qualied company. As seen in other consumer products in
the market, there is always the risk that one of the cells has an internal malfunction causing energy liberation disregarding the Battery Management
System (BMS). This can lead, in rare occasions, to the raise of temperature causing even re. From Onean we strongly recommend to have adequate re
extinguishing equipment for this specic application.
• Do not cover the charger with any material that could restrict the airow into it in order to keep it cool. Charge only in a cool and well ventilated
area.
• Do not use the charger under direct sunlight.
• Do not disassemble the Battery charger.
• Do not use it in case of deterioration of any of its parts (connectors, cables, housing...).
• Recharge the Battery only with the charger indicated by the manufacturer.
• Do not use the charger for any use other than its intended purpose.
• Make sure that the red and black poles are oriented correctly when inserted in the Battery connector.
Reverse polarity may damage the Battery and/or charger.
• Make sure the outlet main voltage is the same as the one indicated the charger.
• Do not handle the charger with wet hands.
• Charger must be kept dry at all times.
Battery
• Do not remove the AirVent from the Battery, it could damage the Battery irreversibly.
• Always handle the Battery with care. Place it over at and soft surfaces in order to protect the inferior housing. Always protect it well for
transportation purposes.
• Never recharge the Battery if it has suered and impact, drop or is deformed due to any reason.
• Stop using the Battery if there is abnormal smell, heat, discoloration or performance.
• After every use, if it has been quickly discharged, it can reach high temperatures.

CAUTION

• In order to begin the charge you may need to wait until it cools down. This also contributes to the longevity of the pack.
• Stop charging the Battery if it doesn’t complete its charging within 2,5 hours from at.
• The charging must be done in a secured place and always under supervision throughout the entire charge. Do not leave the battery unattended. Do
not sleep near the battery.
• Do not charge the Battery near ammable materials.
• Do not store the Battery over 20% of capacity (only the last LED should be lid).
• Do not leave the Battery exposed to direct sunlight or any other form or heat generation.
• Do not leave the Battery within the reach of children.
• Under no circumstances the Battery should be open.
• Do not use the battery for any use other than its intended purpose.
• Avoid causing short circuit of the discharge connectors.
• Do not immerse the Battery in water or any other liquids.
• Do not throw the Battery away. Always use an appropriate recycling point. Please contact the manufacturer for further instructions.
• If any damage or dint is detected, discontinue its use and store it in a secure place.
• For long lasting storage, it’s recommended to frequently recharge it (every 1 or 2 months) always keeping the capacity below 20%.
• Do not expose the Battery to temperatures over 50 °C or 120 °F.
• Do not leave the Battery plugged after a complete charge.
• The Battery level indicated on the Wireless controller may not be an exact value. This is due to a reading of the voltage and this consequently
depends on the discharge to which is subject to. The LED indicator of the battery, near the charging connectors shows an accurate measurement of
the battery capacity.
• Do not plug or unplug the Battery to the charger if it´s not connected to the power outlet source.
• Do not incinerate the Battery Pack even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn out. The Battery Pack can explode in a re. Toxic fumes and
materials are created when Lithium-Ion Battery Packs are burned.
• Use silicone grease on the power contacts to protect them from corrosion in humid environments.
• While extracting the Battery, do not force the handle laterally. The traction must be perpendicular to the Battery surface.
• Apply lubrication to the locking pins regularly to avoid jamming of the locking mechanism.
• Do not forget to open the drain cap to extract or insert the Battery. Do not forget to close it before entering the water.
• Unless in charging, protect always the battery´s connectors with the plastic cover. The plastic covers avoid entering water inside the connectors. In
case you forget protecting the the battery´s connectors water could damage the battery irreversibly.

• 1. Check if your local main supply matches your charger´s input voltage 110 or 220 V. Then connect the charger system to a wall socket.
• 1.1 A FLASHING RED LED indicates charger error.
• 2. BLINKING YELLOW LED conrms AC power on, with no battery charging.
• 3. Connect the plug or the DC Output cord to Battery terminals.
• 4. STATIC YELLOW LED indicates normal charging
• 4. GREEN LED lights up when the Battery is fully charged.

• 1. Noticing a small spark is normal when it connects to the Battery
due to high current.
• 2. This charger is designed for Onean Batteries only.
• 3. Avoid charging a Battery not provided with this charger.
• 4. The charger is manufactured with aluminium case. Do not cover
it to avoid the case from being overheated while charging.
• 5. DO NOT disassemble the charger. Take it to a qualied service
person when service or repair is required.
• 6. Do not cover the charger with any material that could restrict the
airow into it in order to keep it cool. Charge only in cool and well
ventilated areas.
• 7. Do not use the charger under direct sunlight.
• 8. Do not use it in case of deterioration of any of its parts
