USER'S GUIDE
INSTALLATION
CONNECTIONS
Install the unit in a well ventilated place and not
exposed to high temperatures or humidity, nor any heat
sources such as heaters or radiators. Be sure to leave
space around the unit for ventilation to improve heat
radiation (at least 30 cm at top, 10 cm at rear, and 20 cm
at each side). If not enough space is provided between the
unit and walls or other equipment, heat will build up inside, interfering with performance or causing malfunctions.
Before making or changing the connections, switch o the power switch to prevent damaging the product.
Connect the white plug 3 to the L (left) channel 1,
and the red plug 4 to the R (right) channel 2.
Be sure to push the plugs securely.
The CD player is equipped with lters for the suppression of radio interference in accordance with EEC regulation
MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL SURFACES
Remove dust and dirt with a clean, dry cloth.
Never use solvents, gasoline, insecticide sprays and other
chemicals on or near the equipment because they can
corrode the surfaces.
Handle the power cord by the plug. Do not pull out the
plug by tugging the cord and never touch the power cord
when your hands are wet as this could cause a short circuit
or electric shock.

Description remote control buttons
1. Connect CD player to the amplifier with appropriate cables .
2. Lift disc cover and disc press and then put the disc in. Put disc press and disc cover back.
3. Once the loader is started, screen shall display total tracks and time.
4. Press ( ) button on machine or key on remote control to play all contents on the disc.
USB Setup: 1. Connect the USB cable from PC to the rear panel of the unit.
2. Turn on the unit and choose the USB source by press the INPUT on the top panel or the
CD INPUT on the remote control.
3. Install the driver software into the PC from the“USB driver disc”.
4. Setup the“SOUND”option on the PC, set the“Speaker XMOS XS1-L1 Audio”as the default device.

Track scan key
Scan button: During stop mode, press (SCAN) key on remote control, screen shall display “SCAN” in the top left
corner, indicating track scan is functioning. Track scanning function plays the first ten seconds of a track sequentially
untill all tracks are played. Number of corresponding track shall be displayed on screen. Once all tracks are scanned,
the machine will be in stop mode.
To cancel during track scanning, press (SCAN) key or ( ) key once.
To operate the remote
control requires two battery of
AAA 1.5 V, which are not included.

Protection
Troubleshooting
The device has a sophisticated protection circuit against the short circuits, distinguishing itself with the simultaneous
flashing of all LEDs for a few seconds, in this case must be unplugged the power cord and leave unplugged for at
least 15 minutes..
Symptom Cause Remedy

Incorrect operations are often mistaken for trouble and malfunctions. If you think that there is something wrong
with this component, check the points below. Sometimes the trouble may lie in another component. Investigate the
other components and electrical appliances being used. If the trouble cannot be rectified even after exercising the
checks listed below, ask your nearest ONIX authorized service center or your dealer to carry out repair work.

RANDOM button: allows the random selection of tracks, screen shall display “ ”.
REP button: Press once to repeat a single track, press twice to repeat the entire CD, screen shall display or .
A-B segment repeated play: Press A-B key at the start point of your desired content. Screen shall
display A- in the top left corner. Press A-B key again at the stop point of your desired content. Screen shall
display A-B in the top left corner and the machine shall repeatedly play the segment between start point A and stop
point B until A-B key is pressed again to cancel segment play.
FAST REWIND/FAST FORWARD: During normal playback, press button ( ) to search backward at high speed,
release this key to return to normal playback. During normal playback, press ( ) button to search forward at high
speed, release this key to return to normal playback. .
TRACK SELECTING: Press numerical key 1 to 9 to select track.
Press ( ) button on front panel or ( ) key on
remote control to play the previous track.Press ( ) button
on front panel or ( ) key on remote control to play the
next track.
DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT: Press (DIMMER) key on remote control to adjust the brightness of
displayed characters, each time (DIMMER) key is pressed, screen brightness shall change from “bright”, “normal”
to “dark” in circular. Screen will be set to “bright” as default when the machine is turned off.
MUTE buttom: pressing (MUTE) button while the CD is plaing will activate the mute function (no sound), will,
display the message "MUTING" flashing, press the button (MUTE) for return to normal.

Mechanical section: We have a Philips Pro II drive and servo system, built under Onix’s specications. The quality of
the player is improved by a damper made by an aluminum alloy with a brass capsule that’s placed on top of the cd
during play, improving it’s quality.
The special blue LED positioned internaly ,while the cd is reading, reduces the diraction from laser beam.
D/A converter: Superb Crystal CS 4396 D/A converter made by Cirrus Logic a Texan company. It is a24 bit, 192 kHz
D/A without equals. Music has never been heard like this. The end results are startling.
Power supply: R-CORE “high grade silicon steel core” transformers made by Onix’s specications. To protect the
audio circuitry, the player uses two separate power transformers: one for the servo and digital system and another
just for audio. In addition, the power supply regulation on the audio circuit board auto helps itself establish stable
operation for the audio D/A converters.

INSTALLAZIONE
COLLEGAMENTI
Installare l’apparecchio in un luogo ben ventilato e
non esposto ad alte temperature o umidità, ne a fonti
di calore quali stufe o radiatori. Assicuratevi di lasciare
uno spazio intorno al prodotto per ottenere una corretta
ventilazione (lasciate uno spazio minimo di 30 cm in alto,
di 10 cm dietro l’unità e di 20 cm ai lati). Se non si rispettano
queste distanze l’apparecchio si surriscalderà alterandoil suo normale funzionamento con un possibile guasto.
Prima di eettuare o modicare qualsiasi collegamento spegnere sempre prima l’apparecchio evitando
danneggiamenti del prodotto.

Collegare la spina bianca 3 al canale L (sinistro) 1,
e la spina rossa 4 al canale R (destro) 2.
Le Spine devono essere inserite saldamente e ben
a fondo.
Il lettore CD è dotato di ltri per la soppressione delle interferenze in radiofrequenza, secondo la normativa CEE
MANUTENZIONE DELLE SUPERFICI ESTERNE
Togliere la polvere e lo sporco con un panno pulito e
asciutto. Non usare mai solventi, benzina, insetticidi spray
ed altre sostanze chimiche su o vicino all’apparecchio
perché ne corrodono le superci.
Prendete sempre il lo di alimentazione per la spina.
Non tiratelo mai agendo per il lo stesso e non toccate mai
il lo con le mani bagnati, perchè questo potrebbe causare
cortocircuiti o scosse elettriche.

Tasto SCAN: Quando il Cd è fermo, premere il tasto (Scan) sul telecomando, sullo schermo appare "SCAN" in alto
a sinistra per indicare che la funzione è attiva. Vengono riprodotti in sequenza i primi dieci secondi di tutti i brani,
sullo schermo viene visualizzato il numero corrispondente alla traccia scansionata
Una volta che tutti i brani vengono scansionati, il lettore si ferma.
Per interrompere la scansione premere il tasto (SCAN) o il tasto ( )

I tasti non descritti, non sono
utilizzabili per questo apparecchio,

USB Setup: 1. Collegare il cavo usb dal PC alla presa sul retro del lettore.
2. Accendere il lettore e scegliere l’ingresso USB tramite il tasto “INPUT” sul pannello superiore o
“CD-INPUT” sul telecomando.
3. Installare sul PC il driver presente nel CD in dotazione con l’apparecchio.
4. Impostare "Speaker XMOS XS1-L1 Audio" come dispositivo predefinito nelle opzioni del PC .
Tasto selezione ingresso
Ascolto
1. Collegare il lettore CD all’amplificatore con appostiti cavi.
2. Sollevare lo scrigno e lo stabilizzatore, inserire il CD e rimettere stabilizzatore e scrigno.
3. Come inizia la lettura del CD, sul display appaiono tutte le tracce e il tempo.
4. Premere il tasto ( ) per riprodurre l’intero contenuto del CD.

Protezione
Malfunzionamento
L’apparecchio possiede un sofisticato circuito di protezione contro i cortocircuiti accidentali, evidenziandosi con
il lampeggiamento simultaneo di tutti i led per alcuni secondi, in questo caso dovrà essere scollegato il cavo di
alimentazione e lasciarlo scollegato per almeno 15 minuti.

Un non corretto utilizzo dell’apparecchio viene spesso scambiata per errori di funzionamento o per problemi do-
vuti a guasti. Se si ritiene che vi siano dei problemi nel funzionamento dell’apparecchio verificare il funzionamento
stesso in base alla tabella qui sotto riportata. Se il guasto non può essere riparato anche dopo aver eseguito le
procedure di rimedio sottodescritte, rivolgersi al centro assistenza tecnica autorizzato ONIX che potete trovare
direttamente sul sito del distributore www.pacetech.it affinché la riparazione venga effettuata da esperti.

Tasto RANDOM: permette la selezione casuale dei brani preseni sul CD, sul display apparirà la .
Tasto REP: premendo una volta permette la ripetizione di un solo brano (sul display apparirà la ),
premendolo due volte, del intero CD (sul display apparirà la ).
A-B play segmento ripetuto: Premere il tasto A-B sul punto di inizio del contenuto desiderato, sul display apparirà
“A” avanti al brano, premere ancora il tasto A-B al punto finale del contenuto desiderato, sul display apparirà “A-B”
prima del brano e il lettore ripeterà il segmento dal punto iniziale “A” al punto finale “B” fino a quando il tasto A-B
sarà premuto di nuovo per cancellare il segmento “A - B”.
RIAVVOLGIMENTO VELOCE/AVANZAMENTO VELOCE: mentre il CD è in play, premendo ( ) il brano
torna indietro velocemente, rilasciare il tasto per tornare alla normale riproduzione del brano. Mentre il CD è in play,
premendo ( ) il brano avanza velocemente, rilasciare il tasto per tornare alla normale riproduzione del brano.
SELEZIONE BRANI: premere i tasti da 1 a 9 per selezionare il brano. Premere sul lettore il tasto ( ) o sul teleco-
mando il tasto ( ) per sentire il brano precedente, Premere sul lettore il tasto ( ) o sul telecomando il tasto ( )
per sentire il brano successivo.
REGOLAZIONE LUMINOSITÁ DEL DISPLAY: premere sul telecomando il tasto (DIMMER) per regolare la
luminosità dei caratteri visualizzati sul display, ogni volta che viene premuto il tasto (DIMMER), la luminosità pas-
serà da “bright” , “normal” a “dark” a rotazione. Il display tornerà su “bright” quando il lettore viene spento.
TASTO MUTE: premendo il tasto (MUTE) del telecomando, mentre il brano è in play si attiverà la funzione MUTE
(nessun suono) apparirà sul display la scritta “MUTING” lampeggiante, premere nuovamente il tasto (MUTE) per
tornare alla normalità.

Tutti i prodotti ONIX possiedono la garanzia uciale italiana di 24 mesi (DL 24/02). Pacetech aggiunge 1 anno ulteriore
di garanzia, portandola a 36 mesi, per usufruire dell’anno aggiuntivo, bisognerà far recapitare presso la nostra sede
tutti i dati anagraci del acquirente con regolare scontrino scale entro ed non oltre un mese dall’acquisto del prodotto,
in caso contrario la garanzia sara di 24 mesi.
Questa garanzia viene riconosciuta se l’apparecchio non viene manipolato o aperto. Pacetech provvederà alla ripara-
zione in garanzia presso i suoi laboratori. Per far valere la propria garanzia bisognerà conservare lo scontrino scale o
fattura avuta al momento del acquisto. Questa in originale dovrà accompagnare l’apparecchio in riparazione.
Per avvalersi della garanzia bisognerà contattare Pacetech e far pervenire il prodotto, in imballo originale (conservare
l’imballo originale del prodotto). Le spese di trasporto sono a carico del mittente.

INSTALLATION
CONNEXIONS
Installez l'appareil dans un endroit bien ventilé exposée à des
températures élevées ou à l'humidité, elles sources de chaleur
poêles de type ou un radiateur. Assurez-vous de laisser un
espace autour du produit an d'obtenir une ventilation correcte
(Laisser un espace d'au moins 30 cm de haut, 10 cm derrière
appareil et 20 cm sur les côtés). Si vous ne remplissez pas ces
distances l'appareil va surchauer altérer son fonctionnement normal avec une éventuelle panne ou un risque d'incendie.
Avant d'eectuer ou de modier les raccordements, mettez l'appareil hors tension sans avoir d'abord détériorer le
produit.

Connectez la che blanche au canal L 3 (à gauche) 1,
et le canal rouge 4 à R (droite) 2.
Bouchons doivent être bien en place et bien à fond.
ENTRETIEN DES SURFACES EXTERIEURES
Enlever la poussière et la saleté avec un chion propre et
sec. Ne jamais utiliser de diluants, de benzine, d'insecticide
et autres produits chimiques sur ou à proximité de l'appareil
car il corroder les surfaces.
Toujours saisir le cordon par la che. Ne jamais tirer tirant
sur le cordon et ne touchez jamais le pouvoir cordon si vos
mains sont mouillées car cela pourrait provoquer un court-
circuit ou un choc électrique.

Écoute
1. Raccordez votre lecteur à l'amplificateur avec les câbles appropriés.
2. Soulevez le capot et le stabilisateur, stabilisateur et ré-insérer le CD et le couvercle.

Tasto SCAN: Lorsque le CD est arrêté, appuyez sur la touche (SCAN) sur la télécommande, l'écran affiche "SCAN"
sur le dessus à gauche pour indiquer que la fonction est active. Sont lus en séquence les dix premières secondes de
toutes les pistes, l'écran affiche le numéro de la piste numérisée.
Une fois que toutes les pistes sont balayées, le lecteur s'arrête.

USB Setup: 1. Branchez le câble USB à la prise COMPUTER sur le dos du XCD-50
2. Mettez le XCD-50, et sélectionner l'entrée USB à l'aide de la touche “INPUT” sur le panneau avant
ou “CD-INPUT” sur la télécommande.
3. Installez-le sur votre PC le drivers sur le CD-ROM fourni avec l'appareil.
4. Set "Speaker XMOS XS1-L1 Audio" que les options par défaut du périphérique à les PC.

Protection
Mauvais fonctionnement
L'appareil possède un circuit de protection sophistiquée contre les courts-circuits accidentels, qui est mis en
évidence par le clignotement simultané de tous les voyants pendant quelques secondes, dans ce cas, il faut

A-B play segment répété: Appuyez sur la touche A-B au point de départ, l'affichage "A" sur la piste, appuyez sur la
touche A-B au point final, l'écran affiche "A-B" avant que la chanson et le joueur devra répéter le segment du point de
départ "A" à la fin du point "B" jusqu'à ce que le bouton A-B appuyez de nouveau pour supprimer le segment "A-B".
RETOUR RAPIDE / AVANCE RAPIDE: tandis que la lecture du CD, appuyez sur ( ) le son revenir rapidement,
relâchez le bouton pour reprendre la lecture normale de la chanson, appuyant sur ( ) la chanson progresse
rapidement, relâchez le bouton pour reprendre la lecture normale de la chanson.
CHANSONS DE SÉLECTION: appuyez sur les touches 1 à 9 pour sélectionner la piste. Appuyez sur le bouton
joueur ( ) sur la télécommande ou le bouton ( ) pour écouter la piste précédente, le lecteur Appuyez sur le bouton
( ) sur la télécommande ou sur le bouton ( ) pour entendre la chanson suivante.
RÉGLAGE AFFICHAGE LUMINOSITE: appuyez sur le bouton de la télécommande (DIMMER) pour régler le
luminosité des caractères à l'écran, chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton (DIMMER), la luminosité passe de
"bright", "normal" à "dark" en rotation. L'affichage revient à "bright" lorsque le lecteur est éteint.
Touche MUTE: appuyant sur la touche (MUTE) de la télécommande, tandis que le morceau est joué, vous
obtiendrez l'MUTE (Pas de son) apparaît sur l'afficheur "MUTING" clignote, appuyez sur le bouton (MUTE) pour
retour à la normale.

INSTALLATION
CONNECTIONS
Installieren sie das gerät in einem gut belüfteten die hohen
temperaturen ausgesetzt, feuchtigkeit, hitze typ heizkörpern.

Scan TASTE: Wenn die CD gestoppt ist, drücken Sie die (Scan)-Taste auf der Fernbedienung, zeigt der Bildschirm
"SCAN" auf der Oberseite links, um anzuzeigen, dass die Funktion aktiv ist. Werden nacheinander die ersten 10
Sekunden aller Titel gespielt, Das Display zeigt die Nummer des abgetasteten Spur.
Nachdem alle Spuren abgetastet werden, stoppt der Player.

4. Stellen Sie "Speaker XMOS XS1-L1 Audio" als Standard-Option mit PC.
