top panel by inserting and tightening the addi-
tional top panel screws in the appropriate screw

Insert the spikes into the spike holes in the base.
Onkyo recommends that you use the included
spikes for improved sound quality. However, be
aware that spikes may leave scratches or traces on
a wooden floor.

Assembling the speaker stand
Maintenance
To keep the stand clean, occasionally wipe off
dust using a soft dry cloth.
To remove dirt, dilute a neutral detergent (e.g., a
6-to-1 water/detergent solution). Lightly dampen
a cloth using the diluted detergent solution, then
wipe off the dirt. Then, wipe off any detergent
from the surface using a water-soaked cloth.
Finally, wipe the surface using a soft dry cloth.
Do NOT use alcohol or a thinner solvent or allow
the surface to remain wet. Otherwise, the stand
may be deformed or discolored.
