Inserting Batteries
1. Open the battery cover and insert the batteries, making
sure to match the correct direction. Once inserted, slide
the battery cover rmly back into place.
2. When the batteries run down, a low battery icon
appears when you turn WikiReader on or off. When
this occurs, please replace the batteries immediately.
Warning: The batteries included are not rechargeable and
should not be recharged under any circumstances.

Turning on the Power
1. Once batteries have been inserted, turn on your
WikiReader by pressing the Power button.
2. The ON screen will appear and immediately take you into
the Search screen.
3. To turn off the WikiReader, hold the Power button
down for two seconds.

While reading, you can touch a link to go to the cor-
responding topic. Press the bottom left corner of the
screen to return to the previously viewed topic.

Samuel Sanders Teulon
Samuel Sanders Teulon (1812-1873) was a notable
English architect of the 19th century.
Teulon was born in Greenwich, in south-east London, the
son of a cabinet-maker from a French Huguenot Family
(his younger brother, William Milford Teulon
(1823-1900), also became an architect).
Samuel attended the Royal Academy Schools, exhibited
at the Academy in 1835, and commenced practice as an
architect in 1838. He was a friend of George Gilbert Scott
and became a member of the council of the Royal
Institute of British Architects.

A menu button appears in topics that have options to set
Parental Controls or different language translations.
1. Press the Menu button on the top-right of the screen.
2. Select the Rbutton for Parental Controls or the
application language button (if available).
Note: For information on adding language translations
and more, see the Additional Wikis section.
