Note: WikiReader is meant to be used with adequate

Inserting Batteries
1. Open the battery cover and insert the batteries, making
sure to match the correct direction. Once inserted, slide
the battery cover rmly back into place.
2. When the batteries run down, a low battery icon
appears when you turn WikiReader on or off. When
this occurs, please replace the batteries immediately.
Warning: The batteries included are not rechargeable and
should not be recharged under any circumstances.

Turning on the Power
1. Once batteries have been inserted, turn on your
WikiReader by pressing the Power button.
2. The ON screen will appear and immediately take you into
the Search screen.
3. To turn off the WikiReader, hold the Power button
down for two seconds.

WikiReader uses a touch sensitive screen. Gently touch
the screen to activate features such as typing, scrolling,
or navigating to topics through Links.
