User Manual

1. This is a sensitive piece of electronic equipment, please take care of your camera and do not let it fall.
2. Avoid having your camera near anything with a strong magnetic field or radio signal, this can effect
sound and image quality or prevent correct functioning of the product altogether.
3. Please do not expose the camera to direct sunlight or high temperature.
4. Please store your camera in a dry and protective area.
5. Lithium battery inside! Do not try to open the product and do not expose to heat, water, moisture or
direct sunlight.
6. Please take care when charging the batteries and keep away from children.
WARNING

1. Charge the Battery
Connect the camera to a computer or USB wall
charger for charging. The red Charging Indicator light
will turn on to indicate charging in progress. The light
will turn off when charging is complete. Ensure that
the battery is fully charged before use.
2. Using the Micro SD card
Push a Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into
place. The label will face the back of the camera. To
remove the Micro SD card, press the tail of the card
inward softly and it will eject from the camera.
3. Power On/Off
Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button
for 3 seconds, the screen will turn on and the
camera will be ready for use.
Power Off: Hold the Power/Mode button
for 3 seconds, the camera will turn off.
4. Switching Between Modes
The camera has 3 modes: video recording,
photography, and menu. After the power is on, press
the Power/Mode button to cycle between them.
5. Busy Indicator Light
The Busy Indicator will be lit blue when the camera
is recording videos, shooting photos, etc.
6. Front LCD Screen
Press and hold the WiFi/Down button while in
video recording, photography mode to switch
between front LCD screen and rear LCD screen.

When first turned on, the camera will start off in Video
Recording Mode. Press the Shutter/OK button to start
recording;press the Shutter/OK button again to stop
recording.
Note: If the memory card is full or the battery power
is low, the camera will automatically stop recording.
7. Switching between different video
recording modes
There are 5 video recording modes: Normal, Loop
Recording, Video Time-lapse, Slow Motion and Fast
Motion.During any video recording mode, press
and hold the Shutter/OK button to enter video
recording mode selection menu:
Press the UP or DOWN button to select desired
video recording mode then press Shutter/OK button
to confirm selection. The relevant video mode
icon will then be displayed inthe top left corner of
the screen.

VIDEO RECORDING MODE
Normal When this mode is selected, press the Shutter/OK
button to start and stop recording.
Loop Record
•This allows continuous recording video into a 1, 3,
or 5 minute video clip as chosen by the user.
(See Section 10. Video Setup)
•When this mode is selected, press the Shutter/OK
button to start and stop loop recording.
V-Timelapse
•The length of timelapse interval can be set to:
1, 3, 5, 10, 30 seconds, or 1 minute.
•The timelapse recording duration can be set
to either 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60 minutes, or set to
unlimited (recording until the memory card is
full or stopped).

•When this mode is selected, press the Shutter/OK
button to start and stop timelapse recording.
Slow Motion
•This allows users to record slow-motion video.
•When this mode is selected, press the Shutter/OK
button to start and stop slow motion
recording
Fast Motion This allows users to record fast-motion video in
different speed (x2, x4, x6, x10, x15)

WiFiSelect this icon and press the Shutter/OK button
to turn the Wi-Fi function on.
PHOTOGRAPHY MODE
After the power is on, the camera will start off in Video
Recording Mode. Press the Power/Mode button
once to enter Photography mode; press the Shutter/OK
button to take a photo.
8. Switching between different photography modes
There are 5 photography modes: Normal, Burst,
Photo Timelapse, Self-Timer and Long Exposure.
During any photography mode, press and hold the
Shutter/OK button to enter the photography
mode selection menu:
Press the UP or DOWN button to select desired
photography mode then press the Shutter/OK
button to confirm selection. The relevant
photography mode icon will then be displayed
in the top left corner of the screen.

Playback Home Screen
Single
•In Single mode, Press the Shutter/OK button
to take a single photo
•Photo resolution can be set to: 2, 5, 8, 10, 14, 16, or
20 megapixels. (See Section 11. Photo Setup)
Burst
•In Burst mode, press the Shutter/OK button
to takeacontinuous burst of photos
•The number of photos in each burst can be set to:
3, 7, 15, or 30 images. (See Section 11. Photo Setup)
•A blue busy indicator light will also be flashing
when taking burst photos
Note: The camera needs a longer period of time to
store photos when using this mode and it cannot
take other photos until they are stored.
P-Timelapse
•In P-Timelapse mode, press the Shutter/OK
button to begin the timelapse photography.
The camera will begin taking photos at the set
interval. Press the Shutter/OK button again
to stop the timelapse photographing.
•The time interval can be set to either 3, 5, 10, 30,
or 60 seconds. The duration of the timelapse can
be set to: Unlimited, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60min.

Self-Time
•In Self-Time mode, press the Shutter/OK button
to begin count down, anda photo will be taken
when the count down is finished.
•The timer can be set to either 2, 5, or 10 seconds
(See Section 11. Photo Setup)
LongExp
•In LongExpmode, press the Shutter/OK button
to takeaphoto with a long exposure time.
•The length of exposure time can be set to either
1, 2, 5, 8, 30, or 60. (See Section 11. Photo Setup)
WiFiSelect this icon and press Shutter/OK button
to turnthe Wi-Fi function on.
PHOTOGRAPHY MODE
After the power is on, press the Power/Mode button
two times to enter Menu mode, there are three options
(Playback, Video Setup, Photo Setup). Press the UP
or DOWN button to switch between the three options,
then press the Shutter/OK button to confirm.
9. Playback Menu
This allows you to view the photos and videos on the
camera. The playback menu starts off at the Video
Gallery, press the UP or DOWN button to select
between Video Gallery, Photo Gallery, Delete or Exit,
then press the Shutter/OK button to confirm.
MENU MODE
Video
Gallery
•Press the UP or DOWN button and the Shutter/OK
button on the Playback Home Screen to select Video
Gallery. Then, press the Power/Mode button to enter
the video gallery. All videos recorded on the camera can
be viewed here.
•Use the UP or DOWN button to browse through
videos, then press the Shutter/OK button to play/pause
the selected video, press Power/Mode button to
return to Playback Home Screen.
Photo
Gallery
•Press the UP or DOWN button on the Playback Home
Screen to select the Photo Gallery. Then, press the Power/
Mode button to enter the photo gallery. All photos
taken on the camera can be viewed here.
•Use the UP or DOWN button to browse through
photos, then press the Shutter/OK button to view the
selected photo in full-screen, press the Mode button
to return to the Playback Home Screen.
Delete
Use to delete photos or videos:
1. In either Video Gallery or Photo Gallery, press the UP
or DOWN button to highlight the Delete icon.
2. Press the Power/Mode button to enter the chosen
gallery you wish to delete photos or videos from.
3. Press the UP or DOWN button to browse through
the photos andvideos, then press the Shutter/OK button
to select the ones you wish to delete.
4. Press the Power/Mode button , (Note: There is an
option to delete all photos or videos) followed by the
Shutter/OK button to confirm the deletion.
5. Press the Power/Mode button to return to
the Playback Home Screen.
Exit•On the Playback Home Screen, press the UP or DOWN
button to select the Exit icon, then press the Shutter/OK
button to exit the playback menu.

10. Video Setup Menu
There are various advanced settings for different Video Recording modes. To change the settings, first, select the
desired Video Recording mode (Section 7), then go to Video Setup menu in Menu mode.

11. Photo Setup Menu
There are various advanced settings for different Photography modes. To change the settings, first, select
the desired Photography mode (Section 8), then go to the Photo Setup menu in the Menu mode.

12. Camera General Setting Menu
In the Video Setup Menu or Photo Setup Menu,
press the UP or DOWN button and the Shutter/
OK button to enter the Camera’s General
Settings Menu
In the General Settings menu, press the UP or DOWN
button to browse throughthe settings and press
Shutter/OK button to select the desired setting. In
each setting, press the UP or DOWN button again
to select the desired setting option, then press the
Shutter/OK button to confirm.

13. Transferring media to a computer and charging the camera battery
Connect the camera to a computer using the provided USB cable. The
camera will be powered on and four options will appear on the screen:
MSDC, PC Camera, Working, Charging
MSDC:Connects camera to the computer as an external drive to access
or download videos/photos stored in the memory card inside the camera.
When the camera is connected to the computer by USB cable, press the
UP or DOWN button and Shutter/OK button to select MSDC. Search
external drive from the computer directory to access the data stored in
the camera. Unplug USB cable to exit.
PC Camera: is to use the camera as a web cam on a computer. When
camera is connected to a computer by USB cable Press the UP or DOWN
button and the Shutter/OK button to select PCCAM, PC Camera
function will be activated shortly. Unplug USB cable to exit.
Note: This feature is not compatible with all computers.
Working Mode:is used to operate and charge the camera when the battery
is not inserted in the camera or when the camera is in low power mode.
Press the UP or DOWN button and the Shutter/OK button to select
Working when the camera is connected to a computer by USB cable.
Unplug USB cable to exit.
Charging Mode:is used to charge the camera by connecting to computer.
Press the UP or DOWN button and Shutter/OK button to select
Charging when it is connected to a computer by USB cable, the camera will
turn off and start to charge. Unplug USB cable to exit.
Note: Charging can also be achieved by plugging the camera into a USB
wall charger. No mode selection is needed to charge this way.

APP (FOR ANDROID AND IOS)
How to obtain the APP installation program
On Android and Apple (iOS) devices search “Safari
Connect 6D” inthe Apple APP Store or Google Play
Store (depending on your mobile device) proceed with
installation of the APP on your device.
System Requirement: IOS 8.0 or above; Android 8.1 or above
How to connect the camera to the mobile device
1. Install the “Safari Connect 6D” APP on your Android
or Apple (iOS) device.
2.Insert a Micro SD card into the camera
and then power it on.
3.Turnthe Wifi on by pressing the Wifi/Down button .
Thenthe WiFi information screenwill appear providing
a SSID name and password. To disable the Wifi press
the Wifi/Down button again.
4.Enable the Wifi function of the mobile phone or tablet
and wait for the “Safari 6D” network to appear; select
the connection and enter the password that appears on
the screen of the camera.
5.Open“Safari Connect 6D” APP on the mobile phone
or tablet.
6.Select the camera name as it appears on screen.
7. You can directly view the preview picture transmitted
by the camera, and then conduct relevant operations.
8.Recorded photo and video files can be viewed and
uploaded from the camera to the mobile device
through the application.
Note: Previews appear in lower resolution but high
resolution files will be available once uploaded to the
mobile device.
9.Content can then be easily shared withall of your
friends throughmessaging or social media platforms.
