• Product is not eld cuttable. Attempting to eld cut product may result in electric shock and will
void the UL certication. Do not puncture, cut, shorten or splice strip light.
• Do not use if there is any damage to the strip light or AC cord insulation
• Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician.
• All installations must be executed in accordance with local codes.
• Do not subject to continuous strip light exing. Please observe bending diameter instruction of 4”
diameter to not damage the strip light.
• The installing contractor assumes all liability for the safety and code compliance of the installation.
• Optic Arts is not liable for any damages caused by improper wiring, circuit overloading, power
surges, poor system design or layout, negligence or excessive force to connections.
• Secure strip light using mounting brackets or mounting extrusion provided by Optic Arts. Do not
secure with staples, nails or any material that will pierce and/or damage the insulation. Doing so
will void the product warranty and may cause electric shock.
• Do not route the cord through walls, doors, windows, or any other like part of building structure.
• S.C.T. Junction Box cannot be recessed. Must be surface mount.
• Do not exceed 100’ of armored cable between SCT module and small junction box.
• This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not mount in wet location areas.
• S.C.T. module/Rectier can hold a charge up to 2 minutes. Allow 2 minutes for discharging and
the LED indicator light to turn o before cutting power prior to servicing.

1. Ensure that all power is o at the breaker panel prior to starting installation.
2. Install the rectier in the provided 4”×4” metal junction box. Figure 1 shows all the
parts. Steps 1 to 4 show the assembly processes.

Step 1: Unscrew 4 screws (yellow circles) on the top of the heat sink, take the driver out of
the junction box.
2.
Step 2: Knock out two holes on the J-Box, put on the ½”strain relief connector for the ACV2
tape, run the 120VAC wires from the conduit.

Step 3: After tightening the connector to the J-Box, use wire nuts to connect the rectier
VDC out to the power feed cable, black to white, red to black; Connect 120 VAC power wires
to the rectier input side, the minimum wire size should be 18 AWG, tighten the J-Box cover.
4.
Step 4: Bend the dialectric paper on the side of the driver, screw the driver back to the J-Box
and restore power to circuit once junction box is closed.

Installation in Aluminum Channel
1. Cut the channel to length as needed.
2. Mark placement for channel mounting brackets or wood screws 2’ apart or use mounting
brackets 12” apart to secure aluminum extrusion in place.
3. Drill screws directly through the channel 2’ apart and into the mounting surface spacing
screws two feet apart or use (if using mounting brackets for the channel, do not do step 3)
4. Uncoil FLEXAC strip, carefully align with the channel and press down rmly to install, starting
at one end and working your way down. The tape must be fully installed in the channel from
power feed to end cap with no gaps.
5. Cut grommet if needed. Install grommet and end cap on cable.
