CLEAR / FUNCTION KEY
Barcodes can be removed with

The status LED indicates users to the status

It is used for charging the internal battery and

OPN2001
The OPN2001 is equipped with a USB interface for battery charging. Moreover, captured data can
easily be transferred to a host computer.
OPN2002
Apart from a USB interface, the OPN2002 is additionally equipped with Bluetooth for wireless
connection and real-time communication. Multiple memory scanners can be charged simultaneously
in the dedicated 10-bay cradle. The cradle can also be used for wired communication to the PC.

SMALL & LIGHTWEIGHT
Full function does not require large dimensions. The OPN2000 series can be held between two
fingers, weighs no more than 30 grams and can be taken everywhere.
EASY COLLECTION
This high performance laser scanner is easy in use. Scan a barcode and it will be stored
automatically. When you make a mistake, the clear button allows you to remove the item from
the memory.
STORAGE
The OPN2001 can store over 15.000 barcodes.
The OPN2002 can store even more barcodes,
however this is dependent from the application.

TRANSFER BY MULTI CRADLE

scanners are placed in the cradle.
VERSATILE DATA COLLECTION
The OPTICON product range does also contain
data collectors with several navigation and
control options. They support an extended
variety in communication features. For more
details refer to the separate documentation of
the Data Collectors.
OPN2002
Charge the OPN2002 by placing the scanner
in the dedicated 10-bay cradle, or use the
dedicated USB cable
for charging.
OPN2001
Use the dedicated USB cable to charge
the OPN2001.
CHARGING
It takes about 2.5 hours to completely charge
the empty battery of an OPN2000 model.

Real-time Reporting
In order to understand purchase behavior and shopping
patterns, market research organizations equip their
consumer panels with small scanners. This is a user-friendly

barcodes on products, a cable can simply be connected to
a computer, transferring the barcode data to the research

Electronic Ordering

scan the barcode on the (almost) empty boxes in their own
