5 Operation
5.1 General
Optimas Vacuum device SV 200 E is a vacuum lifting device. Which is designated for airtight
material.
5.2 Working safety advices
•Safety shoes, gloves and helmet.
•Never exceed maximum lifting capacity (200kg) of device and suction pad.
•Some suction pads to be mounted on vacuum device can reduce lifting capacity of SV200 E
device. Each suction pad is marked with its max. lifting capacity. Never exceed max. lifting
capacity.
•Before longer interruptions lower load to the ground.
•If possible, lower load immediately to the ground if vacuum level is lower than -0,4 bar.
•Stay never under suspended loads. Stay always outside of danger area.
•Never lift persons or animals with vacuum device.
•Operation only under perfect visibility on working area. Take care of persons in working area.
Never suspend load over persons and animals.
•Handles of device always need to be gripped during lifting process of elements.
•Never pull loads inclined.
•Never unsnap stucked elements with device.
•In case of power failure lower load immediately if possible and leave danger zone.
•Suck in and lift only suitable loads (check inherent stability and surface density).
•Take always care on manometer. No lifting at less than -0,6 bar. Lower load to the
ground immediately if needle of manometer is located in red zone under -0,6 bar.
•Disengage load only after placing completely and evenly on the ground.
Take care of fingers during disengaging, crushing hazard!!!
5.3 Lifting / lowering loads
Following operation steps need to be checked by a mechanic before putting into
operation by operating staff. Indicated defects need to be repaired before putting into
operation.
Attention!

12
5.4 Mounting of suction pad
Choose correctly sized suction pad depending on weight of element to be lifted and mount suction pad
with 4 screws.
5.5 Transport position / working position
Remove locking pins on both handles. Adjust handles in wished working position and fix handles with
locking pins.
5.6 Activating of device
Turn „ON / OFF“ switch to „ON“.
5.7 Lifting of loads
Place device on clean and dry element to be lifted. Check if all locking pins are mounted correctly.
Load need to be lifted horizontally and with equal weight distribution.
Turn „ON / OFF“ switch to „ON“. As soon as vacuum level of -0,2 bar is reached, load can
be lifted.
5.8 Releasing of loads
Make sure that load is placed on solid ground.
To release load, open external air valve with lever on handle.

13
5.9 Trouble shooting
Vacuum device SV 200 E need to be maintained and mounted only by qualified professionals,
mechanics or electricians. After repairs and maintenance works all in this manual described safety
regulations need to be checked.
