* Before you start: This process is protective level II. Operators should wear electrostatic chains.
* Note: - If you need to replace the main board, you have to get into service mode and record the
lamp usage hour.
- As the disassembliy process of EP783/EP783S/EP783L/OPX5000/TX783L/TX783S is the
same, we take EP783 for example here.

2-2 Disassemble Lamp
Cover and Lamp Module
1. Adjust the button (as red square) to
“Unlock”, then take off the lamp cover
as red arrow.
2. Unscrew 3 screws (as red circle) then
pull out the lamp module.

2-3 Disassemble Inside Ring
and Outside Ring
1. Rotate the Inside Ring by anticlockwise
(as red arrow), then take off it.
2. Rotate the Outside Ring by clockwise
(as yellow arrow), then take off it.
2-4 Disassemble Top Cover
Module and FPC Cable
1. Unscrew 2 screws (as red circle).
2. Push the top cover as red arrow.

3. Unplug 2 connectors (as yellow square).
4. Take off the FPC Cable.
Note: - Avoid damage by pulling and draging
IR cable and keypad FPC cable.
- Hold the CNNT plug when pulling the
FPC cable is strongly recommended.
Pulling the cable directly from the unit
will cause the cable damages.
- Make sure cables are plug into the
correct ports when assembling the unit.
2-5 Disassemble Keypad
Module and Top Cover
1. Tear off the Keypad Mylar.
2. Unscrew 2 screws (as red circle) to
disassemble the Keypad Module.
3. Separate the Keypad module from the
top cover.
Note: - Take care the six tenons (as yellow
square) when sepatate the Keypad
Module.
- Make sure cables plug into the correct
ports when assembling the unit.

2-6 Disassemble IR Sensor
Board
1. Use tweezers to disassemble the IR
Sensor Board.
Note: - When you disassemble the IR Sensor
Board, you should use ngures to
press the two tenons (as yellow
square) and use tweezers to pull out
the IR Sensor Board.
2-7 Disassemble Keypad
Board
1. Unscrew 6 screws (as red circle) to
disassemble Keypad Board Module.
2. Use tweezers to press the 3 tenons (as
yellow circle),then separate Keypad
Board from the Keypad Module.
3. Take off IR Lens from Key Pad Panel.

1. Unscrew 10 hex screws to disassemble
I/O Cover.
2-9 Disassemble I/O
Shielding
1. Unscrew 4 screws (as red circle) to
disassemble I/O shielding.

Shielding
1. Unscrew 9 screws (as red circle) to
disassemble Top Shielding.
2. Push the Top Shielding (as red arrow)
and pull it up.
Note: There are 2 tenons (as yellow square)
on it.
2-11 Disassemble Main
Board Module
1. Use Tweezers to take off black tape (as
orange square).
2. Unplug 13 connectors (as yellow square).
3. Unscrew 8 screws (as red circle).
4. Unplug 1 FPC cable (as blue square).
5. Take off the Main Board module.
Note: - Make sure cables plug into the correct
ports when assembling the unit.
