Do not let others use the Orbit Baby Bassinet or other connected Orbit Baby products unless
they understand how to use them properly.
Do not use the bassinet or rocker if any parts are damaged, broken or missing. Use
only replacement parts supplied and approved by Orbit Baby. If the instruction manual is
missing or you need replacement parts or assistance, see the contact information included
with this product.
The bassinet is intended for children from birth up to 20 lbs (9 kg).
Do not use this bassinet if you cannot exactly follow the accompanying instructions.
NEVER leave your child unattended.
WARNING: It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended.
Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of your child.
Bassinet must be fully assembled and locked in position prior to use.
To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend a healthy infant be placed on his/her
back to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
NEVER use the bassinet in motor vehicles.
Be aware of the risk of open re and other sources of strong heat, such as space heaters,
gas res, etc., in the vicinity of the bassinet.
WARNING: This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit unaided.
Discontinue use when the child begins to push up on his/her hands and knees (about 5
to 6 months of age) or when weight exceeds 20 lbs (9 kg), whichever comes rst. Since an
infant’s ability to push up varies from individual to individual, it is important that you evaluate
this criterion often, rather than adhering to any specic weight and age limitations.
Do not use with more than one infant at a time.
The maximum weight capacity of the bassinet is 20 lbs (9 kg).

FALL HAZARD: Avoid serious injury from falls or tipover.
• Use the bassinet on the stroller base, the rocker base or the oor. Child’s movement can
slide bassinet. NEVER place bassinet near edges of countertops, tables or other elevated
surfaces.
• WARNING: Only use rocker base and bassinet on a rm, horizontal level and dry surface.
• WARNING: Do not let other children play unattended near the bassinet or rocker base.
• Do not place packages or accessory items on the bassinet unless made by or specically
approved by Orbit Baby. Packages or accessory items can make the bassinet unstable.
• WARNING: Any load attached to the bassinet aects the stability of the stroller.
STRANGULATION HAZARD:
• Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child’s neck,
such as hood strings or pacier cords. Do not suspend strings over the bassinet or attach
strings to toys.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
• Infants have suocated in gaps between mattresses that are too small or too thick and
bassinet sides or on soft bedding. Never add a mattress, pillow, comforter or padding. Use
only the mattress provided by Orbit Baby.
• Do not use a sheet to cover the mattress pad.
• The bassinet can roll over on soft surfaces and suocate the child. NEVER place the
bassinet on beds, sofas and other soft surfaces.
• Bassinet must be fully assembled and locked in position prior to use.
• WARNING: Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.

Important: Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future
reference. Your child’s safety may be aected if you do not follow these instructions.
The Orbit Baby Bassinet can be used with the Orbit Baby Rocker Base.
Each step is described in both text in this manual, and illustrations in the manual foldout. Numbers like
in this manual refer to the related sections in the manual foldout. Boxes like in this manual refer to
individual steps illustrated in sections of the manual foldout.
Letters like refer to the product parts identied on the labeled illustrations located both in this manual
and in the manual foldout.
Some generic product names may dier by country. Stroller may be called pushchair.
Bassinet may be called carrycot. Bassinet on a stroller frame may be called pram. Rocker may be called stand.
All product specications are subject to change.

Assemble the bassinet
Install the cover (optional)
Assemble the rocker base
Assembly of the Orbit Baby Bassinet and Rocker Base is now complete.
Getting Started
Remove all the parts from the box. You should have received a bassinet, rocker hub, and two (2)
rocker tubes. These parts are illustrated in your manual foldout.
Remove the bassinet cover by pulling the two plastic grommets and two elastic loops o of
the bassinet posts .
Pull back the upholstery at the foot end of the bassinet.
Stretch the foot end of the bassinet cover over the foot end of the bassinet.
Insert the rocker tubes into the rocker SmartHub .
Attach the two plastic grommets and elastic loops of the cover onto the bassinet posts .
Ensure that all four rocker snap buttons are locked in place.
Pull on the webbing loop on the interior of the bassinet to move the black metal bar into
position under the plastic clips. It may help to move the webbing loop to one corner of the metal
bar and pull it into place and then move the loop to the other corner to pull it into place.
Repeat this process at the head end of the bassinet by pulling back the upholstery and using the
webbing loop to pull the black metal bar into place. After both bars are locked in place, replace the
upholstery and sunshade onto the bassinet frame.

Rocker must be properly assembled before use.

STRANGULATION HAZARD:

Restraint strap use is required for all use modes.
Center the infant under restraint strap and secure. Never place the infant o center of the restraint strap.
WARNING: This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit unaided.

6 months of age) or when his/her weight exceeds 20 lbs (9 kg), whichever comes rst.

Infant can strangle on loose restraint straps. NEVER leave an infant in the bassinet when straps are
loose or undone.
Do not place in or near this bassinet any cord, strap or similar item that could become wrapped
around a child’s neck.
Do not place this bassinet near a window or a patio door where a child could reach the cord of a
blind or curtain and be strangled.

When placing on the mattress pad , ensure that your infant is centered in the head-to-toe and
side-to-side directions.

PINCH HAZARD:
Only use the bassinet on the Orbit Baby Rocker. Do not use with any other rocker or stand.
Bassinet must be fully assembled and locked in position prior to use on the rocker.
Always use the anti-rock arms to prevent rocking when the infant is sleeping in the bassinet,
when you are not present or not actively rocking the infant in the bassinet.
Bassinet must be locked in one of the four locking positions on the rocker.
WARNING: Check that the pram body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged
before use.
Keep hands and ngers, especially of children, clear of moving parts and the SmartHub.
When you use the bassinet with the Orbit Baby Stroller and Orbit Baby Rocker.
Keep the SmartHub area clean. Keep all metal and plastic parts clear of objects, debris and
liquids to allow proper and safe locking of the bassinet. Never place the bassinet in sand or
other surfaces with ne, loose particles.
The handles and bottom of the bassinet should be inspected regularly for signs of damage and wear.
Listen for audible‘CLICK’ which indicates that the bassinet is locked into the SmartHub.
Always check that the bassinet is securely locked into the SmartHub by tugging upwards and turning.
Using the bassinet on the rocker
To dock the bassinet on the rocker, pull both release levers and push the bassinet SmartHub
down on the rocker hub . To rotate the bassinet, grasp both side handles, pull both release
levers and rotate to the next locking position.

Prevent falls when carrying:
Lock the stroller wheels, or engage the rocker anti-rock arms, and check the stability of the
bassinet before placing the infant in or removing the infant from the bassinet.
Bassinet rotation must always be locked in position before moving. Do not rotate the
bassinet when stroller or rocker is in motion.
Bassinet must be fully assembled and locked in position prior to use on the stroller.
Lock wheels and check stability when stroller is stationary.
Do not stroll with bassinet side-facing. Side-facing position is for stationary use only.
WARNING: Check that the pram body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
Use caution when lifting the bassinet. Use both side handles as the weight may be o-center,
causing the bassinet to tip down towards one end.
When using the soft carrier handle, secure the tab through the red D-ring before lifting in order to
prevent tipping.
Using the bassinet on the stroller

To dock the bassinet on the stroller, pull both release levers , align the bassinet hub with the
stroller SmartHub, and push the bassinet down on the stroller. To rotate the bassinet, grasp both
side handles, pull both release levers and rotate to the next locking position.
To use the soft carrier handle , lift it into position.
Lock the soft carrier handle in place by securing the tab through the red D-ring on the soft carrier handle grip .
Check to ensure the soft carrier handle is locked in place by moving the soft carrier handle grip.
To carry the bassinet, position the soft carrier handle grip in the crook of your arm to keep the
infant’s weight close to your body.

CRUSHING HAZARD:
Do not put objects on the top of the sunshade. The weight of the objects may cause the
sunshade to collapse.
Always use the anti-rock arms to prevent rocking when the infant is sleeping in the bassinet,
when you are not present or not actively rocking the infant in the bassinet.
Using the Sunshade and Paparazzi Shield
Using the rocker anti-rock arms
To deploy the sunshade , pull it up into the desired position. Pull the Paparazzi Shield out of
the sunshade.
Secure the Paparazzi Shield elastic over the foot end of the bassinet.
To temporarily prevent the rocker from rocking, lift up on the anti-rock arm .
Rotate the anti-rock arm until it locks into place; to prevent rocking, lock both arms on one
rocker tube .

Traveling and Storing

Pull back the upholstery on the foot end of the bassinet.
Pull on the webbing loop to move the black metal bar out from under the plastic clips
towards the center of the bassinet. Pull back the upholstery on the other end of the bassinet and
pull the black metal bar out from under the plastic clips. To collapse, push down on the bassinet
frame and fold the sunshade at.
Orbit Baby recommends always using the Orbit Baby Stroller Travel Bag (not included) when
traveling in order to protect your bassinet.
When the rocker is not in use, it must be collapsed and put away. To take apart the rocker, press
down on the rocker snap buttons as you remove the rocker tubes from the rocker Smart Hub
. Each tube has two snap buttons, one on each side of the SmartHub.
Avoid excessive exposure to sun or heat, which may cause fading or warping. Keep the SmartHub free of
abrasive grime and moisture. If wet, use a soft cloth to dry. All hard goods (plastic and metal) may be wiped
clean with a damp cloth. Never use bleach or detergents. Do not submerge or use running water on any
metal or plastic parts of the bassinet.
WARNING
To prevent entrapment and falls, upholstery must be properly attached.

Removing your bassinet mattress and upholstery (images above)
Cleaning Instructions:
Remove the mattress pad by lifting at the edges. Mattress cover can be removed from the
mattress pad by opening the ap closure on the back of the mattress cover
Pull back the upholstery from the bassinet frame separating it all the way around the bassinet.
Remove the sunshade by unzipping it from the sunshade spar.
Replace the upholstery after washing and drying by reversing the steps above.
The sunshade and outer fabric can be spot cleaned with a clean, wet cloth.
The bassinet mattress pad , mattress cover and upholstery can be machine-washed
in cold water on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Washing inside a pillow case and in a front-loading
washer is recommended. Line dry. Replace the mattress pad, upholstery and sunshade once
cleaned and completely dried. Do not use the bassinet without them.

La nacelle est conçue pour les enfants de la naissance jusqu’à un poids de 9 kg.

chaleur (appareils de chauage individuels, amme de brûleur à gaz, etc.).

RISQUE DE CHUTE : Éviter les blessures graves pouvant être causées par une chute ou un basculement.
• Utiliser la nacelle sur la base de poussette et la base berçante sur le sol. Le mouvement de l'enfant
peut faire glisser la nacelle. NE JAMAIS mettre la nacelle près du bord des comptoirs, tables, ou
d’autres surfaces surélevées.
• AVERTISSEMENT : La base berçante et la nacelle doivent uniquement être utilisées sur une surface
ferme, horizontale et sèche.
• AVERTISSEMENT : Ne pas laisser d'autres enfants jouer sans surveillance à proximité de la nacelle
ou de la base berçante.
• Ne pas placer de paquets ou d’accessoires sur la nacelle, sauf si les accessoires sont fabriqués ou
recommandés par Orbit Baby. Ajouter des pièces ou des accessoires pourrait rendre la nacelle instable.
• AVERTISSEMENT : Toute charge xée à la nacelle aectera la stabilité de la poussette.
RISQUE D’ÉTRANGLEMENT :
• Les cordons peuvent causer un étranglement! Ne pas placer d’objets avec un cordon autour du
cou de l’enfant, tels que des cordons de capuchon ou des cordons de suce. Ne pas suspendre de
cordons sur la nacelle et ne pas les attacher à des jouets.
RISQUE DE SUFFOCATION :
• Un enfant peut suoquer dans l’espace entre un matelas trop petit ou trop épais et les bords de la
nacelle, ou si la literie n’est pas assez ferme. Ne jamais ajouter de matelas, d’oreiller, de couette ni
de garniture. Utiliser uniquement le matelas fourni par Orbit Baby.
• Ne pas utiliser de drap pour recouvrir le matelas.
• Le nacelle peut rouler sur les surfaces molles et provoquer la suocation de l'enfant. NE JAMAIS
placer la nacelle sur un lit, un divan ou une autre surface molle.
• Avant d’utiliser la nacelle, cette dernière doit être entièrement installée et verrouillée en position.
• AVERTISSEMENT : Avant d'utiliser le produit, s'assurer que tous les dispositifs de verrouillage sont
enclenchés.

La nacelle Orbit Baby peut être utilisée avec la base berçante Orbit Baby.
Chaque étape est décrite par écrit dans ce manuel et sous forme d’illustrations dans le dépliant. Les numéros
(p. ex. ) gurant dans ce manuel font référence aux sections du dépliant. Les carrés (p. ex. ) gurant dans
ce manuel font référence aux étapes individuelles dans les sections du dépliant.
Les lettres (p. ex. ) font référence aux pièces identiées sur les illustrations de ce manuel et du dépliant.
Certains noms de produits génériques peuvent varier selon le pays. Une poussette pourrait être appelée
landau. Une nacelle pourrait être appelée coun. Une nacelle sur une base de poussette pourrait être

Assemblage de la nacelle
Installation du couvre-nacelle (facultatif)
Assemblage de la base berçante
L'assemblage de la nacelle Orbit Baby G2 est maintenant terminé.
Commencer
Retirer toutes les pièces de la boîte. Il devrait y avoir une (1) nacelle, un (1) connecteur de base
berçante et deux (2) pièces tubulaires de base berçante. Ces pièces sont illustrées dans votre dépliant.
Retirer le couvre-nacelle en retirant d'abord les deux œillets en plastique et les deux boucles
élastiques des tiges de la nacelle .
Repousser la garniture au pied de la nacelle.
Étirer le pied du couvre-nacelle sur le pied de la nacelle.
Insérer les pièces de base berçante dans le connecteur de base berçante SmartHub .
Fixer les deux œillets en plastique et les boucles élastiques du couvre-nacelle sur les tiges de la nacelle .
S’assurer que les quatre boutons pressions de la base berçante soient bien verrouillés en place.
Tirer sur la boucle de sanglage à l’intérieur de la nacelle, de façon à placer la barre métallique noire sous
les pinces en plastique. Il sera peut-être plus facile de pousser la boucle de sanglage sur un coin de la barre
métallique et de la tirer en place, puis de déplacer la boucle sur l'autre coin et de nir de la tirer à sa place.
Répéter la même procédure à la tête de la nacelle : repousser la garniture et utiliser la boucle de
sanglage pour tirer la barre métallique à sa place. Lorsque les deux barres sont verrouillées à leur place,
replacer la garniture et le pare-soleil sur le châssis de la nacelle.
AVERTISSEMENT
La base berçante doit être correctement assemblée avant toute utilisation.

RISQUE D’ÉTRANGLEMENT :

nacelle près de sangles défaites ou lâches.
Ne pas mettre dans la nacelle ou à proximité de celle-ci des cordons, courroies ou objets semblables
qui risqueraient de s’enrouler autour du cou de l’enfant.
Ne pas placer la nacelle près d’une fenêtre ou d’une porte-fenêtre où l’enfant pourrait atteindre les
cordons d’un store ou d’un rideau et s’étrangler.
