Strolling with your child presents inherent safety risks. However, proper
use of the Toddler Stroller Seat and Stroller reduces the risk of injury
to yourself, your child and others. This instruction manual guides you
in detail about proper use of the features of the Toddler Stroller Seat.
Adhering to the following safe practices also helps ensure your child’s
safety.
Follow these instructions and the appropriate instructions for other Orbit
products that you use with the Stroller Seat.
Never leave your child unattended.
Always Secure Your Child.
Always secure your child with the Safety Harness when your child is in
the Toddler Stroller Seat.
Always Dock Safely.
Only dock one Orbit product at a time.
Only attempt to dock approved Orbit products.
Listen for an audible CLICK when docking the Toddler Stroller Seat,
which indicates that the Stroller Seat is correctly installed.
Always make sure that the Toddler Stroller Seat is securely locked by
pulling upwards and turning. The Stroller Seat should not move.
Your Child’s Safety Depends On You
Always make sure that the Toddler Stroller Seat is locked in forward
or rear-facing position before moving. Side facing positions are for
stationary use only.
Always Keep the Hub Area Clean.
Keep all metal and plastic surfaces clear of objects, debris, and liquids
to allow proper and safe function.
Never place the Toddler Stroller Seat in sand or other surfaces with fine,
loose particles.
Always Use the Toddler Stroller Seat secured to a SmartHub.
The Toddler Stroller Seat is not a stand-alone product. Prevent injury
from falls and tipping as the Stroller Seat is not stable unless docked
into a SmartHub.

CLICK AND CHECK
When using Orbit products, always pay attention
to the CLICK (through sound and feel) that says
you’ve successfully completed a step. Then,
always immediately follow up with a CHECK
by tugging or pulling what you just clicked into place.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND THE
PRODUCT LABELS CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
TO YOUR CHILD. DO NOT let others install or use the Toddler
Stroller Seat and other associated or connected Orbit products
unless they understand how to properly use them. Keep this
instruction manual for future use. If the instruction manual is missing,
call Orbit Baby at 1-877-ORB-BABY for a replacement manual.
Do not use the Toddler Stroller Seat in motor vehicles.
Adult assembly of the Toddler Stroller Seat is required
before use.
Avoid injury to your child during Toddler Stroller Seat use:
Avoid pinching injuries: make sure your child’s hands, arms, legs
and feet are clear of moving parts, especially when folding and
unfolding the Toddler Stroller Seat.

Be sure the Toddler Stroller Seat is fully open and locked before
letting your child near.
Always fasten the Safety Harness snugly around your child
whenever your child is in the Toddler Stroller Seat.
Never leave your child unattended.
Beware of obstructions striking your child’s legs or arms when using
the Toddler Stroller Seat.
Use only Orbit tested and approved accessories with the Toddler
Stroller Seat.
Avoid serious injury from falling or tipping with the Toddler
Stroller Seat:
Always make sure the Seat is securely locked by pulling upwards
and turning. The Seat should not move.
Always make sure that seat is locked in forward or rear-facing
position before moving.
Do not rotate the Toddler Stroller Seat when in motion.
Bags and other items, unless they are Orbit Baby approved
accessories, should not be attached or hung from the Toddler
Stroller Seat.

Use the Toddler Stroller Seat with one child at a time. The child must
weigh 40 pounds (18 kgs) or less.
The Toddler Stroller Seat should only be used with children who can sit
up unassisted. It is NOT for use with newborns.

Avoid pinch hazards: Ensure that fingers and appendages are
clear of the SmartHub area.
Never undock the Stroller Seat while a child is seated in it.
Never rotate the Stroller Seat while it is in motion. Make sure the
Orbit Product that the Stroller Seat is docked into is locked in place
and stable.

Improper handling of the Toddler Stroller Seat
increases the risk of serious injury and death
1. Make sure the Orbit product you
are docking the Stroller Seat into is
stable and locked in place.
2. Grab the sides of the Stroller Seat
and make sure that nothing is
obstructing the Hub area (Photo A).
3. Press the Stroller Seat firmly onto
the SmartHub until you feel and
hear a CLICK. (Photo B)
4. CHECK the security of the docking
by pulling up on the Stroller Seat, it
should not move.
5. Rotate the Stroller Seat into one of
its four rotational locking positions.
To Undock and Remove the Seat:
1. Lift the Stroller Seat while holding
both Release Levers squeezed.

To Unfold the Stroller Seat:
1. Disengage the Fold Lock. (Photo D)
2. Unfold the Stroller Seat by pulling
up on the Twist Grip until you hear
and feel a CLICK. (Photo E)
3. CHECK that the Stroller Seat is fully
locked open by pushing down on
the Twist Grip and making sure that
it does not move.

parts when unfolding and folding
product.
Never unfold or fold the Stroller
Seat with a child in or near the
product.
Unfolding & Folding the
Toddler Stroller Seat
To Fold the Stroller Seat:
1. Reach into the Sunshade Flap to
grab the Twist Grip. (Photo F)
2. Depress the green Safety Button
(Photo G) and turn the Twist Grip
forward in the direction of the arrow.
(Photo H).
3. Keeping the Twist Grip rotated, push
downward on the Twist Grip.
4. Engage the Fold Lock on the side.

6. For storage flexibility, you can
squeeze the Release Levers and
easily remove the folded Stroller
Seat from the SmartHub.

STROLLER TIP
You can fold your Stroller with the Stroller
Seat attached, or remove the Stroller Seat
and fold the Stroller separately.

1. Position the Safety Harness to just
below, or level with, your child’s
shoulders. For the lower position,
pass the Shoulder Strap under the
loop. (Photo J)
2. If using the Upholstery Pad, pass
the Shoulder Strap through the
matching slot. (Photo K) Clip the
ends of the Shoulder Strap to the
corresponding Lap Strap.
3. Position the straps around your
child and CLICK both Lap Straps
into the Crotch Clip. (Photo L)
4. CHECK the security of the Safety
Harness by tugging to make sure
the Clips do not come disengaged.

Always restrain your child with the
Safety Harness when using the Seat. Only rotate the Toddler Stroller
Seat when stationary.
Always fully support the Stroller
Seat by firmly grasping it with both
hands.
Always make sure that the Stroller
Seat is locked in forward or rear-
facing position before moving.
Side-facing positions are for
stationary use only.
1. Pull both Release Levers. (Photo M)
2. Rotate the Stroller Seat and stop
pulling the Release Levers. The
Stroller Seat will lock into the next
rotational stop position. (Photo N)

3. CLICK both Bar Locks closed by
snapping the lever around the
tubing. (Photo Q)
4. CHECK that the attachment is
secure by pulling on the Support
Bar to make sure that it does not
detach.
5. For convenience in placing your
child in or out of the Seat, you can
unclip one side of the Support Bar
and swing it aside. (Photo R)
6. Reattach the free end by following
the instructions above, but for only
one side.
Avoid injury, keep your child clear
of the Support Bar ends and the
Bar Locks.
The Support Bar is only meant
as an added support, you must
still always use the Safety Harness
properly when your child is in the
Toddler Stroller Seat.
To install the Support Bar:
1. Orient the Support Bar right-side-
up. (Photo O)
2. Making sure that both Bar Locks
are open, press the ends of the
Bar onto the Stroller Seat frame,
between the two locating bosses.

1. Support the backboard of the Seat
with one hand. (Photo S)
2. With your other hand, unclip the
Recline Clip. (Photo T)
3. Gently let the backboard settle
down into its reclined position.

To return the backboard back to its
upright position:
1. Raise it and reclip the Recline Clip.

Stroller Seat while it is stable and

1. Push the Sunshade forward for more
coverage.
2. To see your child, open the Sunshade

Sunshade Extension forward from

General Cleaning
The Upholstery Pad and Seat Fabric can be machine washed in
cold water on gentle cycle with a mild laundry detergent.
Orbit Baby always recommends using a front loading washer
and washing the Upholstery Pad and Seat Fabric inside a pillow
case to avoid damage to these items.
Remove all plastic and wooden panels before washing.
Line dry.
All hard parts (plastic and metal) should be wiped clean with a
damp cloth. DO NOT SUBMERGE OR HOSE OFF ANY PART
OF THE STROLLER SEAT.
Removing the Upholstery Pad
1. Undo all four hook and loop
fasteners at the back and bottom of the
Seat Fabric. (Photo A)
2. Completely unclip the Safety
Harness. (Photo B)
3. Pass all the Safety Restraint straps
through the Upholstery Pad slots and
remove the Upholstery Pad. (Photo C)
To replace the Upholstery Pad, reverse
the instructions above.

Removing the Sunshade
1. Unzip the Sunshade from around
the metal support bar. (Photo D)
2. Unsnap both corners of the
Sunshade from the plastic pivot
fittings. (Photo E)
3. Remove the Sunshade by undoing
all of the remaining hook and loop
fasteners. (Photo F)
To replace the Sunshade, reverse the
instructions above.

Removing the Seat Fabric
1. Undo all four snaps that hold the
Seat Fabric onto the tubes. (Photo
G)
2. Undo the hook and loop fasteners
at the bottom of the Seat Fabric.
(Photo H).
3. After taking the Seat Fabric
off, remove both inner boards
by opening the hook and loop
fasteners on the board pockets.
4. Thread the Safety Harness straps
through the inner boards and Seat
Fabric slots. (Photo I)
To replace the Seat Fabric, reverse the
instructions above.

Limited Customer Warranty
What this limited warranty covers and for how long:
Orbit Baby, Inc. (“Orbit Baby”) warrants that the product accompanied
by this limited warranty is free from manufacturing defects in material
or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original
purchase. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of
the product. The limited warranty period also applies to any implied
warranties that may exist under applicable law. Some States do not
allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitation may not apply to you.
What this limited warranty does not cover:
This limited warranty does not apply to: (1) defects resulting from
repair (except by Orbit Baby or its authorized service representatives)
or alteration of the product, (2) defects resulting from use with covers,
inserts, accessories, tightening devices, or other components not
supplied by or expressly approved in writing by Orbit Baby, and (3)
defects resulting from misuse, including any use not in accordance with
the product instructions, abuse, accident, neglect, improper maintenance
or handling, or normal wear and tear.
What Orbit Baby will do:
If you believe the product is defective please return it to Orbit Baby in the
manner described below within the limited warranty period. If Orbit Baby
determines a defect is covered by this limited warranty, Orbit Baby will,
at its option, repair or replace the product or components of the product.
This limited warranty extends to repaired and replacement products and
components only through the end of the original limited warranty period.
What Orbit Baby and its distributors and resellers are not responsible
for:
In no event will Orbit Baby or any of its retailers, dealers, distributors
or resellers be liable for incidental, indirect or consequential damages
relating to the product (including any repaired or replacement product
or component) or its use. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
and exclusion may not apply to you.
How State law applies:
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have
other rights which vary from State to State.
What you must do to get service under this limited warranty:
To make a claim under this limited warranty you must first contact
Orbit Baby. Please write to: Orbit Baby, Inc., 8445 Central Ave.,

support@orbitbaby.com. You must provide proof of purchase in the
form of your original sales receipt in order to obtain service under this
limited warranty.
