Make sure that adequate space is available for access to and around the
ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER.

Before using, inspect the
ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER
for worn or loose components, and securely tighten or
replace any worn or loose components prior to use.

Before using, check the condition of the CHAIN(36). Replace the CHAIN(36) if it is cracked or broken.
11.
Consult a physician prior to commencing an exercise program and follow his/her recommendations in developing
your fitness program. If at any time during exercise you feel faint, dizzy, or experience pain, stop and consult your
physician.
12.
Always choose the workout which best fits your physical strength and flexibility level. Know your limits and train
within them. Always use common sense when exercising.
13.
Do not wear loose or dangling clothing while using the
ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER.

Never exercise in bare feet or socks; always wear proper footwear such as running, walking, or cross training
shoes that fit well, provide foot support, and feature non-skid rubber soles.

Be careful to maintain your balance while using, mounting, dismounting, or assembling the
ERGO6.1 AIR

loss of balance may result in a fall and bodily injury.

Do not use the SEAT(51) to move the
ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER.
The SEAT(51) will move and the SEAT
CARRIAGE(10) may pinch your hand or fingers. When assembling or separating the unit, keep all children
away and make sure your hands are clear of any pinch point.

The

should not be used by persons weighing over 300 pounds.

STEP 1
Attach FRONT SUPOORT LEG A(7) and FRONT SUPPORT LEG B(8) to FRONT
STABILIZER(4) using: M6X16mm SOCKET HEAD CAP SCREW(81) and M6 FLAT
WASHER(76).
NOTE: Do not fully tighten bolts until instructed.
STEP 2
Attach FRONT SUPPORT LEG A(7) and FRONT SUPPORT LEG B(8) to MAIN FRAME(1)
using: M6X16mm SOCKET HEAD CAP SCREW(81) and M6 FLAT WASHER(76).
NOTE: Complete this step before taking the item out from its packing material styrofoam A and B.

STEP 3
Lift up the MAIN FRMAE(1) and RAIL FRAME(2), then insert RAIL FRAME(2) into the MAIN
FRMAE(1). Fit the SHAFT(24) on the MAIN FRAME(1) into the gap of the RAIL FRAME(2).
NOTE: Fully tighten bolts at end of this step.
STEP 4
Insert the PULL PIN(98) into the MAIN FRAME(1) and RAIL FRAME(2).
Attach CONSOLE MONITOR POST(6) to the SIDE COVERS (57)(58): M6X10 PHILLIPS HEAD

STEP 7
Attach the CONSOLE MONITOR(19) to the CONSOLE MOUNTING BRACKET(69) using:
M8X75mm BUTTON HEAD CAP SCREW(78), M8 FLAT WASHER(79), and M8 NYLON LOCK

Attach CELL PHONE BRACKET HOLDER(129) to the CONSOLE MONITOR (19), and tighten
PHILIPS HEAD SCREW, ST4.2x10mm (75). Then attach CELL PHONE BRACKET (20)
by using RUBBER BAND (21).

COMPUTER INSTRUCTIONS
Your ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER utilizes an air fan system to create resistance for your workout.
We recommend that you use this computer console to vary your workout from session to session and
note your progress toward
your fitness goals. When used regularly in this way, the computer console
can become an important source of motivation and interest which will help keep you on track.
I. INITIAL SETUP
POWER ON:
-When sensor is connected, start rowing and it will enter Quick Start.
-Press any buttons to turn on computer and it will enter IDLE mode.
- The first time turning on the computer you will be asked to set the DATE and TIME. Use the arrow
buttons to set the date. Keep pressing left and you can also set the TIME. Only press enter when you finish
setting DATE and TIME
- In IDLE mode, hold PROG and DISPLAY button at the same time and you can reset the date and time.
POWER OFF:
-In IDLE mode, automatically shuts off after 20 seconds of inactivity.
-When running an Interval Program, automatically shuts off after 2 minutes of inactivity. (Rest time not
included)
-In all other programs, automatically shuts off after 30 seconds of inactivity.
BATTERY INSTALLATION:
-Console operates on 2 Size D batteries. The battery compartment is on the back of the console.
Battery is included.
-When there’s no batteries installed, console can still work in Quick Start.

II. FUNCTION BUTTONS
PROGRAM BUTTON:
(UP BUTTON):
-P
In IDLE mode, press and release PROG to cycle through each program option. Stop on the program of your
choosing. You can preset target values for DISTANCE, TIME, and CALORIES, or select an Interval
Program of DISTANCE, TIME, and CALORIES. At the end is Memory Mode.
NOTE: Default exercising mode is Quick start program.

faster, release the button to stop. In MEMORY mode, use to change between different workouts saved.
(DOWN BUTTON):
-Press to decrease the preset values. Press the button and hold it down, the presetting value will go
faster, release the button to stop. In MEMORY mode, use to change between different workouts saved.
(RIGHT BUTTON):
-Press to move around digits for faster setting of desired value. In MEMORY and SUMMARY Mode, use
it to view different splits.
(LEFT BUTTON):
-Press to move around digits for faster setting of desired value. In MEMORY and SUMMARY Mode, use
it to view different splits.
STOP BUTTON:
-When selecting the programs, press the button to act as a back button. During setting value, this also
acts as a back button to go back after you press ENTER.
-During any workout modes, pressing it the first time and it will stop workout. (Calories and Watt will
return to 0). Pressing it the second time to view your workout summary. Pressing it the third time will
return you back to IDLE mode.
-During program modes, not including Quick Start mode you must press stop in order to save your
workout into memory.
-Hold STOP button and everything well reset and return you to IDLE mode
ENTER BUTTON:
-When selecting the programs and presetting target values, press the button to confirm or go into next
value setting.
DISPLAY BUTTON:
-When in any workout mode, press DISPLAY when you hear a BEEP sound it will switch to second set
of
display, Press again until you hear 2 BEEP sound, and it will scan between the 2 sets of display.
It will cycle through like this.
-When viewing workout summary or in memory mode. Press DISPLAY to cycle around the 2 different
sets of display.

III. CONSOLE DISPLAY
S/M (STROKE RATE):
-Display the current stroke per minute during exercise.
-Display range: 1-99
STROKES:
-Display the total number of strokes during exercise.
-Display range 0-9999
TIME & D M Y
-Display range: 0:00:00 ~ 17:59:59 HOURS:MINUTES:SECOUNDS
-The workout time is accumulated when under any workout mode. Except for Time countdown program.
-The TIME value in Quick Start is maxed out at 02:34:59. The time value in all other modes is maxed
out at 17:59:59. It’s accumulated in cycle mode that numbers go back 00:00:00 if reach max time.
-When display D M Y, the above value is the DAY, MONTH, YEAR. This would only display in IDLE
mode and during MEMORY mode.
TOTAL METER & TOTAL METER /30MIN:
-Display range: 0 ~ 99999 meters. It’s accumulated in cycle mode that numbers go back to 0 if the
distance exceeds 99999 meters.
-The TOTAL METER is accumulated when under any workout mode except for countdown DISTANCE
program.
-The TOTAL METER/30MIN is the estimated distance for 30 minutes with the current stroke rate.
CALORIES & CALORIES/HR
-Display range: 0 ~ 9999 cals. It’s accumulated in cycle mode that numbers go back to 0 if the calories
exceeds 9999 calories.
-The CALROIES/HR is the estimated calories burned in one hour with the current stroke rate.
PULSE & DRAG:
-Display the heart rate from 40 to 220 beats per minute during exercise. To use this function, the user
must wear Heart Rate Chest Strap with a 5.3K Hz frequency.
-Display Drag Factor value. Drag value is a value for reference of the rowing cadence and resistance
you feel.
CYCLE:
-Display range: 0 ~ 35 cycles
-Display only in INTERVAL programs. It is accumulated up to let you know which cycle of interval you
are on.
WATTS & AVG WATTS:
-Display range: 0 ~ 999
-Display current watt value rowing
-AVG WATTS display the total average watts throughout your entire workout.

TIME /500M & AVE TIME/500M & TIME & REST TIME
-Display range: 00:00 ~ 99:59 (MINUTES : SECONDS)
-TIME/500M is the estimated time to reach 500M based on your current stroke rate
-AVE TIME/500M is the average time needed to reach 500M accumulated throughout your entire
workout
-TIME is the TIME of the day, it is based on 00:00 ~ 24:00 format. Will only display during IDLE mode.
-REST TIME is the rest time set and countdown in INTERVAL programs.
SPLIT TIME/500M & SPLIT CAL
-Display range: 00:00~99:59 , 0~9999
-Display the average TIME/500M on your current split.
-Display the accumulated calories on your current split.
SPLIT (XX):
-Display range: 0~35
-Split is shown in workout summary and in MEMORY mode.
-When SPLIT displays 0 it means no split is done and is the total workout data.
IV. PROGRAMS
The Console Monitor has eight programs: QUICK START, TIME (countdown), DISTANCE (countdown),
CALORIES (countdown), INTERVAL PROGRAMS of Time, Distance, and calories, and MEMORY mode..
Press “Select” to change workout program according to the following sequence: Quick Start Distance
Time Calories Time Interval Distance Interval Calorie Interval Memory Mode
For Quick Start and all programs, press “DISPLAY” button to choose the data displayed in the same
display window. Or let it scan between every 5 seconds.
Press “STOP” button once to stop counting, CALORIES and WATT value with display 0. Press “STOP”
button again and computer will show your workout summary. Press “STOP” button again in workout
summary to save workout into memory mode and enter back into IDLE mode.
Note: QUICK START’s workout summary will not be saved into memory mode.
1. QUICK START PROGRAM
-To Quick Start the program, you can pull on the Handlebar to start. All function values for the console
will count up. You can start Quick Start in either POWER OFF or IDLE mode by just start rowing.
-Quick Start mode will have a summary of the workout when you hit STOP, but it will not be saved into
MEMORY mode.

2. TIME (Countdown) PROGRAM
-During the workout, the “TIME” program will count down from preset value.
-Workout value setting range 00:00:20 ~ 09:59:59.
-The program will start once the user pulls the Handlebar. When the program is finished, the monitor will
show your workout summary. Press “STOP” button to save into memory and back to IDLE mode

-During the workout, the “DISTANCE” program will count down from preset value.
-Workout value setting range: 100~50000 meters.

5. TIME INTERVAL PROGRAM
-When “TIME INTERVAL” program is selected, you will see TIME flashing and also REST TIME will be
displayed.
-You will set the desired workout time of each interval first. Once finish setting press “ENTER” button to
set the REST TIME of each interval.
-Workout time value setting range: 00:00:20 ~ 09:59:59
-Rest time value setting range: 00:10~30:00 (Minutes : Seconds)
-Interval cycles accumulate up to 35 cycles.
6. DISTANCE INTERVAL PROGRAM
-When “DISTANCE INTERVAL” program is selected, you will see TOTAL METER flashing and also
REST TIME will be displayed.
-You will set the desired workout meters of each interval first. Once finish setting press “ENTER” button
to set the REST TIME of each interval.
-Workout time value setting range: 100~50000
-Rest time value setting range: 00:10~30:00 (Minutes : Seconds)
-Interval cycles accumulate up to 35 cycles.
7. CALORIES INTERVAL PROGRAM
-When “CALORIES INTERVAL” program is selected, you will see CALORIES flashing and also REST
TIME will be displayed.
-You will set the desired workout calories of each interval first. Once finish setting press “ENTER” button
to set the REST TIME of each interval.
-Workout time value setting range: 100~5000
-Rest time value setting range: 00:10~30:00 (Minutes : Seconds)
-Interval cycles accumulate up to 35 cycles.

8. MEMORY MODE
-After pressing PROG button and you see MEMORY displayed, press ENTER to view your past
workouts. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through your workouts. Press ENTER to view the
workout data. Once in the data, you can press RIGHT and LEFT button to view your SPLIT data. Press
STOP to go back and scroll to a different workout.
-Only program modes workout summary will be saved to MEMORY MODE. Quick Start will not be
saved to MEMORY MODE
-The computer memory can save at most 80 sets of data or 80 splits of data. Computer will only save up
to 35 workouts. (Example: When you row 1000M countdown, you will save 3 sets of data. 1 total
average and 2 500M split data)
-When you try to save a workout summary and the computer does not have enough memory it will
automatically erase the oldest workout(s) in order to save your newest workout into memory.
-The lower the number under MEMORY the newer the workout is.
-In MEMORY MODE, the TIME window will scan between the date (D M Y) every 5 seconds.
-You can press DISPLAY button to switch display around.
-When SPLIT displays “00” it means it is the total workout average with no splits.
-Below is how the computer decides to split the data into.

Note: If you set workout value not a multiple of the split data the last split will not be
display when you view your splits, but it will be added to the total workout Split “00”
Example: If you set 1200M and finish the workout, Split “00” will show the total average
of 1200M, but when you view the splits you will only see 2 500M splits and will not have
a 3rd split of 200M. It will be the same if you stop midway of the workout.

HOW TO INSTALL AND REPLACE BATTERIES:
1. Open the Battery Door on the back of the CONSOLE
MONITOR(19).
2. The CONSOLE MONITOR(19) operates with two C batteries
(1.5V each), the batteries are not included. Refer to the
illustration to install or replace the batteries.

NOTE:
1. Do not mix a new battery with an old battery.
2. Use the same type of battery. Do not mix an alkaline battery with
another type of battery.
3. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
4. Ultimate disposal of battery should be handled according to
all state and federal laws and regulations.
5. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
BLUETOOTH APP:
- As long as the screen is turned on from sleep mode. Bluetooth will be on and can be
discovered on your phone or tablet
- Connectivity to apps is through FTMS protocol, can connect to any apps using this
protocol to connect. Such as Kinomap or Zwift.
- When console is connected to an app the screen will display “bt” at the bottom left of
screen. All other buttons will be of no use until disconnected from Bluetooth app.
BLUETOOTH SOFTWARE UPDATE:
The console software can be updated via Bluetooth. Please consult your dealer to see how
to update and check if you have the newest software installed.
CONNECT TO KINOMAP:
1. Press any button or row the machine to activate the console. When the console is activated,
Bluetooth is always on, can connect anytime.
2. Open the app and press “More” on the button corner.
3. Press “Equipment Management” then press “ + ”, and select “ Rowing Machine ” category.
4. Search for “FTMS” and select “Anplus-XXXX” in the connection option list. Press “Enable”, then
press “Allow”.
5. Select your equipment, and press “ADD NEW EQUIPMENT”.
6. Enjoy the Kinomap experience.
CONNECT TO ZWIFT:
1. Press any button or row the machine to activate the console. When the console is activated,
Bluetooth is always on, can connect anytime.
2. Open the app and login to your account.
3. Select your equipment catergory and choose your exercise choice.
5. Press on “POWER SOURCE”, select your bluetooth equipment “Anplus-XXXX”, press “OK”
6. Enjoy the Zwift experience.

LOAD ADJUSTMENT
There is a DAMPER(42) built into the RIGHT FAN
SHROUD(43). Move the Indicator in the DAMPER(42) to point to
the numbers on the RIGHT FAN SHROUD(43) to adjust the
load. There are settings from 1 to 10. Setting #1 will provide the
lowest resistance. Setting #10 will provide the highest resistance.
HANDLEBAR POSITION
The HANDLEBAR(3) can be placed on the hook in the CONSOLE MONITOR POST(6), refer to
illustration A. Or, you can place the HANDLEBAR(3) on the HANDLEBAR HOLDER(52) as shown in
illustration B.
PEDAL CAP ADJUSTMENT
The position of the FOOT PEDAL(45) can be adjusted. Refer to
the illustration. Pull the FOOT PEDAL(45) out from the two
bulges in the PEDAL SUPPORT PLATE(5), then lower or
raise the FOOT PEDAL(45) to the desired position. Lock the
FOOT PEDAL(45) in position by pressing the adjustment holes
of the desired position onto the two bulges.
Refer to the numbers on the FOOT PEDAL(45) to make sure that
FOOT PEDAL(45) are adjusted on the same position on both
sides.

USING THE CELL PHONE BRACKET
The CELL PHONE BRACKET(20) can move up and down. Move up the CELL PHONE BRACKET(20),
then slide the Cell Phone into the gap between the CELL PHONE BRACKET(20) and the
CONSOLE MONITOR(19). Move down the CELL PHONE BRACKET(20) to clip the Cell Phone in
position.
MAINTENANCE
The safety and integrity designed into the ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER can only be maintained when the
ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER is regularly examined for damage and wear. Special attention should be given
to the following:
1.
Pull on the HANDLEBAR(3) and verify that the Magnetic System provides tension and the seat travel
is smooth and stable.
2.
Clean the roller tracks in the STAINLESS STEEL RAIL(14) with an absorbent cloth.
3.
Verify that all nuts and bolts are present and properly tightened. Replace missing nuts and bolts.
Tighten loose nuts and bolts.
4.
Check the condition of the
CHAIN(36)
.
Replace the
CHAIN(36)
if it is cracked or broken.
5.
Verify that the CAUTION LABEL is in place and easy to read.
6.
It is the sole responsibility of the user/owner to ensure that regular maintenance is performed.
7.
Worn or damaged components must be replaced immediately or the ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER
removed from service until repair is made.
8.
Only Orbit supplied components should be used to maintain/repair the ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER
9.
Keep your
ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER
clean by wiping it off with an absorbent cloth after use.

STORAGE
1.
To store the ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER, simply keep it in a clean dry place.
2.
To avoid damage to the electronics, remove the batteries from the CONSOLE MONITOR(19) before
storing the ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER for one year or more.
3.
Move the ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER with the TRANSPORT WHEELS(66) on the FRONT STABILIZER
(4). Lift the Rear Stand of the RAIL FRAME(2) to move the ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER. Refer to the
illustration below. Do not use the SEAT(51) to move the ERGO6.1 AIR ROWER. The SEAT(51) will
move and the SEAT CARRIAGE(10) may pinch your hand or fingers.
4.
The MAIN FRAME(1) and the RAIL FRAME(2) can be
separated to minimize the unit size for storage. Remove the
PULL PIN(98) from the MAIN FRAME(1). Lift up the MAIN
FRAME(1) and pull out the RAIL FRAME(2) to separate.
Insert the PULL PIN(98) back to the hole in the MAIN
FRAME(1) for storage.
