FOR MOUNTING ON
COMPACT TRACTORS WITH 2 POST R.O.P.S.
STRUCTURES
The SunShade is designed to fit all models of tractors having a one-piece continuous or
foldable ROPS, are between 30" and 40" wide, with a tubing section of 1 3/4" x 2" to 2" x
4 1/4" and an angle of no more than 20 degrees rearward to 10 degrees forward.

1. Do not operate machine in confined areas without proper ventilation

3. The SunShade adds height to some machines. Low tree limbs and other overhead structures that did
not interfere with the operation of the machine before, may now become obstacles
4. Always use your seat belt when operating R.O.P.S. equipped machines.
PARK TRACTOR SAFELY FOR INSTALLATION
• Park machine on a level surface.
• Lower attachments to ground
• Lock park brake
• Stop engine and remove key
READ THIS MANUAL COMPLETELY BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION.
This SunShade can be assembled in different ways to accommodate a variety of R.O.P.S. tube sizes
and angles. Study the instructions to determine the best method of assembly for your application.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Apply some wax to the lower ends of the Posts. This will make it easier to put the SunShade on and
take it off.
Periodically check all bolts to see that they are tight. If bolts become loose, failure of parts may occur.
Use liquid soap and water with a brush or rag to clean the vinyl cover.

Prepare the L bolts and welded coupler to make the clamps.
Screw the leg of the L bolts with the most thread into the welded coupler. Turn both bolts in equally until
the distance between the other legs match the width of the R.O.P.S. tube.

Assemble Frame
Assemble the frame as shown. The two bolts (indicated by arrows) should be inserted from the inside
out. The parts should be bolted together as shown in the detail inset.

Attach Brackets to R.O.P.S.
The width of the R.O.P.S. will determine the bracket installation. For installation on most ROPS
30”-35” the square tube of the bracket should be toward the outside of the ROPS.

the ROPS.

Place a bracket on the side of the tube. Determine which set of holes and slots will work with the clamp
assembly. Insert the legs of the clamp through the holes and add locknuts. Tighten just enough to keep
the clamp in place. This assembly will be adjusted up or down later in the installation. Make sure
brackets are level.
