1. Purpose
The Magnet-R detector (hereinafter referred to as the “detector”) is designed to detect the
opening/shifting of protected objects and transmit this events to the Lun-R receiver that is con-
nected to the Lun control panel (more about for compatibility, see the documentation of the rele-
vant control panel).
Product is not equipped with built-in cameras and microphones, devices and units for
hidden video and audio recording.
2. Safety Precautions
Only the employees, familiar with the module design, instructed on the safety arrangements
shall be allowed to install, routinely maintain and repair.
The device does not have open live parts, representing the danger of electric shock to a per-
son. No safety ground.
3. Technical specications
The detector technical characteristics is shown in the Table 1.

4. ow to use
The detector’s P B and battery holder are placed in a plastic enclosure with a removable
cover (Figure 1).
A magnetically controlled switch (reed switch), a tamper switch, a multi-color LED indicator
and RESET contacts to initiate the process of binding with the Lun-R radio are placed on the detec-
tor’s P B.
Figure 1. Detector, its cover and magnet
Depending on external actions, the detector transmits the following events to the Lun-R re-
ceiver:
●If the magnet is located near the detector housing, in the area marked by risks, then the
reed switch is closed and the norm event of the detector is generated;
●If the magnet is moved away from the housing or moved away from the marked position,
the reed switch opens and detector generates an alarm event;
●If the housing cover is opened, the tamper will be triggered and the tamper alarm event
will be generated;
●If the voltage of the battery drops to 2.2V or lower – the event "Batter low" is generated.
In addition, the detector transmits periodic test signals to the receiver to con$rm its operabil-
ity. When the test signals stop, the control panel generates the detector communication lost event.
When the communication loss with the receiver, the detector continues to search it. Therefore,
when you turn off the receiver or control panel for a long time, it is recommended to remove the
detector’s battery.

4.1. Modes Indication
The detector modes displays by multicolored LED:
Norm – light off;
Alarm – Kashing red once every 4 seconds if the magnet was was moved away from de-
tector housing. This Kashing will operate up to 15 minutes after the detector’s cover is
closed then Kashing stops to conserve the battery;
Binding – blinking green while waiting for a signal from the Lun-R receiver to register in
the control panel memory;
Bound – when the binding is completed successfully – turning on red for 2…3 seconds.
4.2. Binding
A new detector must be bound to the control panel in order to successfully transmit its com-
mands to the receiver.
To register a detector, do the following:
1. In the control panel con$guration, pre-set the required number of radiozones, their type,
group membership and other parameters;
2. Turn on the control panel in the operating mode and switch to the desired control
panel’s group;
3. Switch the control panel to the wireless detectors binding mode (see the corresponding
control panel programming manual);
4. Install the battery to the detector observing polarity;
5. Switch the detector to the binding mode by short-circuit the RESET contacts for 2…3 sec-
onds (until the blinking green – the signal "Binding");
6. Binding will processed automatically and, if successful, ends by turning on the red LED
for 2…3 seconds (signal "Bound").
The detector waits 70 seconds for binding. To reinitialize the binding process, brieKy close the
RESET contacts again.
4.3. Wireless signal strength
The detector should be in the radio visibility zone of its receiver, therefore, after binding, be-
fore installation at the facility, it is strongly recommended to recognize the wireless signal strength.
To do this, turn on and place the detector and the control panel in the intended installation
locations, and then press and release the tamper button. The detector indicators display the wire-
less signal strength as follows:
LED color Number of blinks Signal strength
Green
3 Best
2 Good
1Poor
Red 4 No connection
If the signal strength is poor or there is no connection, it is recommended to change the loca-
tion of the detector and repeat the above process in order to form a reliable reception map.

4.4. Installing
To ensure high-quality operation of the detector, the next principals recommended during in-
stallation:
●Place the magnet near the marked side of the detector housing;
●Do not install the detector on metal surfaces;
●Provide a distance of at least 10 mm from metal structures to the detector or magnet;
●Avoid shock and other mechanical inKuences on the detector and magnet during opera-
tion.
5. Maintenance
Detector does not require any maintenance.
6. Operating conditions
1. Detector is designed for continuous operation.
2. Detector shall be used at the temperature of –20°С to +55°С and relative humidity of 5% to
85%.
3. If the transportation conditions differ from the operating conditions, then the detector must
be kept in the operating conditions for 2…6 hours before switching on.
7. Storage
1. Storage temperature shall be of –50° ...+55° at the relative humidity of 5% up to 98%.
2. During handling operations, transportation and storage in warehouses, boxes with detectors
shall not be exposed to sharp bows. Stacking and $xing of the boxes to the transporter shall
not include their movement.
3. Detector shall be stored in the manufacturer's package. Battery must be removed for the en-
tire storage period or insulator must be installed in the battery holder.
8. Transportation
1. Detector transportation shall be carried out in the manufacturer's package.
2. Detector is allowed to be transported by all types of enclosed transporters, subject to ob-
serving the shipping rules applicable for each type of transport.
3. Transportation temperature shall be of –50° to +50° at the relative humidity of 5% up to
98%.
9. Disposal
Detector disposal shall be carried out according to electronic household appliance disposal
rules established by the legislation of the State, where the product is operated.
