Thank you for purchasing the OSIM uAlpine Smart 2. Please read the operation
manual thoroughly for the correct methods of usage and take special notice of the
safety section before you start.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is your guide to a safe and

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the product, please take special notice of the following basic precautions:
Read all instructions before using the product.
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock:
Always unplug this product from the electrical outlet immediately after use and before cleaning.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of fire, burns, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1) Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer.
2) The product should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from electrical outlet /power
source when the product is not in use, and before putting on or taking off parts.
3) Do not operate the product under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating may occur and cause fire,
burns, electric shock, or injury to persons.
4) Do not use the product if the electrical outlet /power source is loose.
5) Do not connect or disconnect the power plug /USB cable from the electrical outlet /power source
with wet hands.
6) When disconnecting the power plug /USB cable, remove it by holding the plug /USB cable head, and
not by the cord /cable.
7) Do not operate the product if it has a damaged cord or plug /USB cable, a malfunction, a power
failure, or it is dropped into the water. Injury may occur when power is restored unexpectedly. Return
the product to OSIM Service Centre for examination and repair.
8) If the power plug /USB cable or power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by OSIM Service Centre
or its authorized service agents.
9) Do not carry this product by the power cord /USB cable or use the power cord /USB cable as a handle.
10) Keep the product power cord /USB cable away from heated surfaces.
11) Do not place the power cord /USB cable under the product or any other heavy objects.
12) Do not wind the power cord /USB cable around the product.
13) Do not operate the product with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and
the like.
14) Remove power plug /USB cable from the electrical outlet /power source immediately should liquid be
spilled onto the product as this may result in electric shock.
15) Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
16) To stop using the product, turn off all controls and remove the power plug /USB cable from the
electrical outlet /power source.

17) Do not drop or insert any object or flammable material into any openings of the product.
This may result in electric shock, malfunction or risk of fire.
18) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
19) This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Keep children away when the product is in
operation.
20) Cleaning and user maintenance of the product shall not be made by children.
21) Do not use or operate the product when your body or hands are wet.
22) Do not use this product outdoors.
23) Do not use the product in an excessively humid or dusty environment as it may result in
malfunction.
24) Do not use the product in temperatures higher than 40˚C.
25) Do not expose the product to heaters, stoves or direct sunlight.
26) Do not cover the product during operation. This may result in a rise in motor temperature and
subsequent malfunction or fire.
27) Do not use the product in the event of a lightning storm.
28) If you should use the product in a cold room, do not increase the room temperature abruptly. It
is recommended that you increase the temperature gradually to a normal level.
29) If the product is brought into a warm environment from a cold place where it was stored, wait
for an hour before use as there may be water droplets on mechanical parts due to condensation.
Using the product under such condition may result in malfunction.
30) Do not dismantle, drop, or subject the product to shock or vibration.
31) Do not rest or place heavy objects on the product as this may result in malfunction.
32) The product must only be serviced or repaired by the OSIM Service Centre. Do not attempt to
disassemble or repair the product.
33) Some noise may be heard from the product while in use. This is due to the structure of the
product and is normal.
34) This product is not intended for self-diagnosis or self-treatment of conditions that should be
managed by a qualified health care provider.
35) If you are under any medication or have any medical conditions, please consult your health care
provider first before use.
36) Type certified qualified low-power RF motor, without permission, companies, companies or users
may not change the frequency, increase power or change the original design characteristics and
functions.

37) The use of low-power RF motors shall not affect the safety of flight and interfere with
legitimate communications, and should be deactivated immediately if interference is detected
and improved to the point where there is no interference. The legal communication in the
preceding item refers to radio communications operating in accordance with the provisions
of the Telecommunications Law. Low-power RF motors are subject to interference with legal
communications or industrial, scientific and medical radiometry motor equipment.

Preparation before use
Placing the uAlpine Smart 2
• Make sure there is an allowance of at least
30 cm from the wall when in use.
• Ensure that the power cord is not placed
under the uAlpine Smart 2.
Removing plastic cover from
filter before use
Moving the uAlpine Smart 2
• Make sure rear cover is closed properly
before switching on the product.
• Only reset the filter usage time after
replacing the filter.
Note
• Open up the rear cover.
• Pull out the filter.
• Remove the outer plastic cover from filter.
• Place the filter with the pull tab facing
outwards in order to pull the filter out
easily for replacement.
• Close the rear cover.
• Lift the uAlpine Smart 2 by holding both side
of the product as shown.
• Do not lift the product by the rear cover as it
may open up causing product to drop.
• When moving product, always lift it up and
avoid dragging it.
• Do not drop or put anything into the top
air outlet as it could cause product to
malfunction.
30 cm Replacement of filter
• The red filter replacement icon indicator
[ ] will be turned on with 1 long ‘beep’
sound when the filter needs to be
changed.
• After replacing the filter, press and hold
[ ] + [ ] buttons 5 secs. There will be 1
‘beep’ sound to indicate filter usage time
has been reset. The red filter replacement
icon indicator will then be turned off.

Operation
To switch on/off power
• Connect the power plug to the electrical
outlet and turn on the power switch.
• Press [ ] button to power on the uAlpine
Smart 2 and there will be 1 ‘beep’ sound.
• The sensor will take approximately 10
seconds to warm up before detecting
the PM2.5 air quality and displaying the
values after.
• The sensor will take approximately 3
minutes to warm up before detecting the
VOC air quality and displaying the values
after.
• The air quality light indicator will then
light up in Green, Yellow or Red colors,
representing air quality level from best to
worst respectively.
• Once product is turned on, the UV, Ionizer
and Auto mode functions are turned on by
default.
• Press [ ] button to power off the uAlpine
Smart 2 and there will be 1 ‘beep’ sound.
To switch on/off UV light
• Press [ ] button to turn On/Off the UV
function.
• [ ] indicator will light up/off to indicate
UV function is turned On/Off.
To select fan speed
• Press [ ] button and toggle to the
desired fan speed (Sleep mode, I, II and
III).
• Once sleep mode is selected, only the
sleep mode LED indicator [ ] will be light
up. The other LED indicators will not light
up.
• When in Sleep mode, pressing any
button will light up the control panel and
LED screen. This does not activate any
function.
To select auto mode
• Press [ ] button and the fan speed
will adjust automatically based on the
detected PM2.5 and VOC air quality. The
Auto mode will toggle through speed I, II,
and III based on detected air quality, and
will not activate Sleep mode.
To switch On/Off Child lock
• Press and hold [ ] + [ ] buttons for 3
seconds. There will be 1 ‘Beep’ sound to
indicate Child lock function has turned On/
Off.
• Once turned ON, [ ] indicator will light
up and at the same time other buttons will
be deactivated.
To select timer
• Press [ ] button and toggle to set timer
function at intervals of 1hr, 2hrs, 4hrs, 8hrs
and off.
• Respective LED indicator will light up.
To switch on/off Ionizer function
• Press and hold [ ] + [ ] buttons for
3 seconds to turn On/Off the Ionizer function.
• [ ] indicator will light up/off to indicate
Ionizer is turned On/Off.

To reset Wi-Fi
• Press and hold [ ] + [ ] buttons for 3
seconds with 1 ‘Beep’ sound to indicate it
is ready to connect to Wi-Fi.
• Once it has been successfully connected to
Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi indicator will remain light up.
Operation
• The air quality light indicator is based on
the PM2.5 and VOC readings, and will
reflect whichever is higher with the worse
air quality.

• Ensure that your smart device is connected to a secured 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
• Power on the uAlpine Smart 2.
• Download and open the OSIM Well-Being App.
• Register and add your uAlpine Smart 2 by scanning the product QR code.
• Follow the instructions on the OSIM Well-Being App to reset uAlpine Smart 2 Wi-Fi and pair
with uAlpine Smart 2.

Download the OSIM Well-Being App to enjoy additional product features exclusively through the App.

Go to the respective app stores (depending on your operating system and region), search for
“OSIM Well-Being” to download and install App.

Functionality of OSIM Well-Being App
•You are able to control the product through the OSIM Well-Being App.
•New features will be highlighted and made available in the App, so that the product can stay
up-to-date with the latest features.
Compatibility of OSIM Well-Being App
•Due to variations in operating systems, non-compatibility could occur. We recommend updat-
ing your mobile operating system whenever a new version is available to enjoy the new App
features. The minimum requirements for mobile operating system are subjected to change
without notice.
•All smart devices require a compatible wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi or cellular data networks).
•For updates on OSIM Well-Being App, please visit the respective App stores.
•Notifications of App updates are encouraged to be enabled, and it is recommended that you
install all updates to ensure that the App will function correctly and is kept up to date.

Product care and storage
Product placement and storage
Environmental factors can strongly affect the product physically and mechanically. Do not
expose the product to direct sunlight or places with extreme heat or air-conditioning vents.
These can cause the product to crack or the color to fade.
If the product is not going to be used for a long period of time, cover it with a dust cover and
disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Clean the product using a dry cloth regularly
Before cleaning, ensure that the main switch is turned off and the power plug is disconnected
from the electrical outlet.
The main unit structure can be cleaned thoroughly with a piece of soft, dry cloth. The common
micro-fiber cleaning materials or gloves are very well suited for this routine maintenance
process. Such materials and gloves are available for sale in most DIY shops.
Do NOT use wet elements for cleaning
The product is made up of electrical components and mechanical parts, which are very
sensitive to moisture. Under no circumstances should they be exposed to any form of water or
moisture.
As for the control panel, it may result in malfunction if you use a wet cloth to clean.
Do NOT use cleaning solvents
Under no circumstances should you use any cleaning agents, like benzene or thinner to clean
the product.
Do NOT attempt to repair your product
Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the product, for safety reasons.
If you suspect a malfunction, always call the OSIM Service Center for further assistance and
information.

• Ensure that the power plug is firmly connected to
the electrical outlet.
• Ensure that the main switch and the switch on the
electrical outlet is turned on.
• Ensure the rear cover has closed correctly.
Problem Possible causes / actions
• The uAlpine Smart 2 does not
function.
• The timer duration has lapsed.
• The ‘On/Off’ button [ ] on the control panel
was pressed accidentally.
• The uAlpine Smart 2 stops
midway.
• Ensure the rear cover has closed correctly.
• Check if the filter is dirty and replace if necessary.
• The air inlet or air outlet may be obstructed. Clean
and remove any obstructions around the air inlet
and outlet.
• There are 3 ‘Beep’ sounds and
display board panel shown
as ‘E1’ once turn on uAlpine
Smart 2.
• Low dust collection,
uAlpine Smart 2 is performing
sub-optimally.
If you encounter problems with the operation of the uAlpine Smart 2 , please check the following
points to see if they can be rectified. If the uAlpine Smart 2 still malfunctions or does not work,
please switch off the uAlpine Smart 2 and remove the power plug from the electrical outlet. Contact
OSIM Service Center* for servicing.
Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the uAlpine Smart 2 yourself. Doing so will void the
warranty and OSIM will not bear any responsibility for any subsequent consequences.

Troubleshooting
* Please visit us at www.OSIM.com for information on the nearest service center.
Product warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.
• Ensure uAlpine Smart 2 is power on.
• Ensure Wi-Fi router is on, and uAlpine Smart 2 is
connected with Wi-Fi.
• None of above, reset the uAlpine Smart 2 Wi-Fi,
and pair again.
• uAlpine Smart 2 is Offline in
the OSIM Well-Being App.
• This could be due to signal interference.
• Wrong Wi-Fi password. Enter the correct Wi-Fi
password for the selected Wi-Fi network.
• Ensure Wi-Fi router is on and make sure connect
to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
• This could be due to signal interference.
• Ensure the Wi-Fi icon on product LED screen is
flashing during Wi-Fi pairing, and can find the
uAlpine Smart 2 Wi-Fi in smart device setting. If
not, reset Wi-Fi to restart the broadcast of product
Wi-Fi and pair again.
• Unscessful Wi-Fi connection
after several attempts.
