Thank you for purchasing the OSIM uMist Dream. Before you start
using the uMist Dream, please read the operation manual thoroughly
for the correct methods of usage, paying special attention to the
section on safety.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is your
guide to a safe and efficient operation.

Usage environment
• Do not use the product in an
excessively humid or dusty
environment.
• Place and use the product on
a high, dry and flat surface.
• Keep the product out of reach
from children.
• Do not place the product
towards electrical appliances,
electrical sockets, electrical
outlets and/or material
surfaces that are sensitive to
water vapour.
• Do not place the product on
any electrical appliances.
• Do not expose the product
to heaters, stoves or direct
sunlight.
Safety
Caution
• When using the product
in a cold environment,
do not increase the room
temperature abruptly. It
is recommended that you
increase the temperature
gradually to a normal level.
• If the product is brought
into a warm environment
from a cold place where it
was stored, wait for one hour
before use there may be
water droplets on mechanical
parts due to condensation.
Using it under such condition
may result in malfunction.
• The product is intended for
home and consumer use
only - not for commercial or
medical purposes.

Safety precautions for
malfunction prevention
• To ensure safe and correct
use of the product, do not
operate it without carefully
reading this operation
manual.
• Remove the power adapter
from the electrical outlet
before filling up the water
tank and cleaning.
• Do not operate the product
with wet hands.
• Do not fill water tank with
abrasives or corrosive
chemicals.
• Do not immerse the product
in water. If the product
was immersed in water,
remove the power adapter
immediately. Do not use
the product and contact the
OSIM Service Center.
• Wipe the water tank dry and
carry the water tank with
both hands.
• After use, remove the power
adapter from the electrical
outlet and pour the water
out of the base and water
tank of the product. Wipe
the product dry with a clean
cloth before storage.
•This product is not intended
for use by persons (including
children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given
supervision or instruction
concerning use of the product
by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not
play with the product.
• Cleaning and user
maintenance of the product
shall not be made by children.
NOTE
• It is recommended to use
filtered or distilled water for
the water tank. Mixing it
with other liquids will cause
the product to malfunction.
• Unplug the appliance during
filling and cleaning.
• Be aware that high
humidity levels may
encourage the growth of
biological organisms in the
environment.

NOTE
• Do not permit the area
around the humidifier to
become damp or wet. If
dampness occurs, turn the
output of the humidifier
down. If the humidifier
output volume cannot
be turned down, use the
humidifier intermittently.
Do not allow absorbent
materials, such as carpeting,
curtains, drapes, or
tablecloths, to become
damp.
• Never leave water in the
reservoir when the appliance
is not in use.
• Empty and clean the
humidifier before storage.
Clean the humidifier before
next use.
• Empty the tank and refill
every third day. Before
refilling, clean it with fresh
tap water or cleaning
agents if required by the
manufacturer. Remove any
scale, deposits, or film that
has formed on the sides
of the tank or on interior
surfaces, and wipe all
surfaces dry.
Warning
• Micro-organisms that may
be present in the water or
in the environment where
the appliance is used or
stored, can grow in the water
reservoir and be blown in
the air causing very serious
health risks when the water is
not renewed and the tank is
not cleaned properly every 3
days.

• Do not use the product in the
event of a lightning storm.
• Clean the water tank every 3
days.

Instances when the
product should not be
used
In any of the following events,
turn off the main power
immediately and disconnect the
power adapter from the electrical
outlet in case of electric shock.
Contact OSIM Service Center for
servicing if necessary.
• Immersion in water.
• Detection of any
malfunction or abnormal
condition during operation.
• Overheated during
operation.
Assembly and repair of
the product
• Do not attempt to
disassemble or repair the
product by yourself.
• The product must only
be serviced or repaired by
OSIM Service Center or its
authorized service centers.

Things to note about the
power adapter
• Check that the Alternating
Current (AC) voltage
corresponds with the
specifications indicated for
the product.
• Turn off the power from the
product before removing
the power adapter from the
electrical outlet.
• Do not connect or disconnect
the power adapter from the
electrical outlet with wet
hands. This may result in
electric shock.
• When disconnecting the
power adapter, pull it by
holding the power adapter,
not the cord.
• Do not place the adapter
cord under the product or
any heavy objects.
• Do not wind the adapter cord
around the product.
• Do not use the product if the
electrical outlet is loose.
• Use only the original power
adapter provided.
• If the power adapter is
damaged, it must be
replaced by OSIM Service
Center or its authorized
service agents.

The OSIM uMist Dream is an innovative product that keeps your
environment constantly humid. With the latest technology, the
ultrasonic sound wave energy breaks up water into extremely fine
visible mist that moisturises dry skin. Environmentally friendly, quiet
and easy to use.
What is Ultrasonic Sound Wave Energy?
Generated from an advanced transducer through extremely high-
frequency vibration, it is a sound energy beyond human audibility.

Effectiveness
The uMist Dream helps protect
your delicate body tissues
(skin, eyes, throat and nasal

environment. Replacing the dry

its surroundings, a substantially
moist indoor environment helps
you maintain soft and supple
skin even after long periods at
your home or work place

Filling the water tank
• Remove the water tank from
the base of the uMist Dream.
Preparation before use
• Turn the water tank over and
unscrew the water tank cap.
• Fill the water tank with clean
and cool water.
• Secure the water tank cap
tightly.

• Connect the power adapter
to an electrical outlet and
connect the adapter jack to
the base before turning the
power on.
• Gently place the water tank
on a flat and non-slip surface
in its upright position.
Wipe the water tank dry with
a piece of dry, clean cloth.
• Check for any leakages from
the water tank. If there is
water leakage, empty the
water tank and stop using it.
Contact OSIM Service Center
or its authorized service center
for enquiries on replacing the
water tank.
• Attach the water tank to the
base of the uMist Dream.

Caution
• Handle a fully filled water
tank with both hands.
• If water is spilled onto the
uMist Dream, use a dry cloth
to wipe it dry before use.
• Operating the uMist Dream
without water will result in
malfunction.
• Always empty the tank from
the base.

empty the tank in the
direction shown.

How to use the uMist
Dream
• Press the Power button to
activate the mist operation.
LED indicator will light up to
indicate the uMist Dream is
in operation.
Operation
• Press the Power button
again to turn on the night
light .
• Press the Power button for
the third time to turn off
both the mist operation
and night light.
• Once the water tank is
empty, mist generation will
cease and the LED indicator
will turn to red color.
Caution
• Do not direct the mist at any
electrical appliances, electrical
sockets, electrical power
points or material surfaces
that are sensitive to water
vapour.
• Do not direct the mist at
anyone and keep it out of
reach from children.
• Do not directly add water to
the mist outlet.
• Do not lift the water tank
up when uMist Dream is in
operation.
• If the uMist Dream topples,
turn off the electrical outlet
immediately.
NOTE
• Always turn off the uMist
Dream when it is not in use.
Never tilt, move or attempt
to empty or refill the unit
during operation.

• Do not use benzene, thinner
or any other solvents on the
uMist Dream.
• Discard remaining water
from the uMist Dream
before storage.
• Clean the top surface of
the base of regularly with
a dry and clean cloth after
each usage to remove any
mineral residue. Please
remember to turn off
the electrical outlet and
disconnect the adapter from
its electrical outlet before
cleaning.
• When not using the uMist
Dream for a long period
of time, it is advisable to
place it in a dust-free and
moisture-free environment.
Ensure it is completely dry
before storage.
• Do not place and leave the
uMist Dream under direct
sunlight for a long period of
time.
Product care and storage
• Clean the area (as shown)
regularly with provided
brush after each usage to
remove any mineral residue.

If you encounter problems with the operation of the uMist Dream,
please check the following points for possible rectification. If the
uMist Dream still malfunctions or does not work, please turn it off and
remove the power adapter from the electrical outlet. Contact OSIM
Service Center* for servicing.
Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the uMist Dream yourself.
Doing so will void the warranty and OSIM will not bear the
responsibility for any subsequent consequences.
Troubleshooting
• Water tank cap
is not screwed
tightly.
• Water tank may
be damaged.
• Unit may be tilted
or moved during
operation.
• Power outlet is
not turned on.
Problem
• No mist appears
after the uMist
Dream has been
turned on.
• Adaptor jack is
not connected
properly.
• LED indicator
does not light
up after the
uMist Dream is
turned on.
• Water is leaking
from the water
tank.
Possible cause Action
• Ensure the
electrical outlet is
turned on.
• Ensure the
electrical outlet is
turned on.
• Check the
connection of the
adapter jack.
• Screw the water
tank cap tightly.
• Do not use any
damaged water
tank on the uMist
Dream. Contact
OSIM Service
Center or its
authorised
service center for
assistance.

Troubleshooting
• Minerals residue
from the tap
water.
• Water used
is unclean or
contains chemical
contents.
• The uMist Dream
is not placed on
an even and flat

form at the top
surface of the

even, flat and
non-slip surface.
• Fill the water tank

• Clean the top
surface of the

Regularly maintain
cleanliness of the
base’s top surface.
• Use only clean
and cool tap water
to fill the water
tank.
