Poco LT Child Carrier. Follow the information
contained in this owner’s manual to safely use
and operate your Poco LT Child Carrier.

WARNING Do not use carrier if child cannot sit upright unassisted.
WARNING Do not use carrier with a child weighing less than 7.25kg /16
lbs. or more than 18 kg / 40 lbs. Do not use carrier with child
less than six months old.
WARNING Do not leave the child unattended in this carrier!
WARNING When the child is in the carrier, their head may be higher than
the adult’s head. Care should be taken to be aware of hazards;
e.g., door frames, low branches of trees, etc.
WARNING Extreme hot or cold temperatures, including long exposure
to the sun can cause exposed metal items to burn a child.
Make sure there are no exposed metal items near the child
when using the carrier.
WARNING Always use child retention system to prevent child from
falling or sliding out of carrier which may cause serious injury.
WARNING Do not place on counter tops, tables or other elevated
surfaces.

WARNING When using the carrier, the adult shall be aware of the following:
+ The Poco LT Child Carrier is designed for only one child to be carried by an adult.
+ Check the child carrier to assure all buckles, snaps, straps and adjustments are secure before each use.
+ Always inspect the child carrier prior to use for damage. Never use the child carrier with a bent frame. Never
use with broken buckles anywhere on the pack. Never use with tearing, torn or ripped seams or fabric anywhere
on the pack.
+ The carrier is suitable for leisure activities, but not for sport activities; e.g., skiing, cycling, etc.
+ Care should be taken when putting on or removing the child carrier.
+ The adult’s balance may be adversely affected due to movement of the child and also the adult.
+ The adult will need to take great care when bending/leaning sideways or forward.
+ Be aware that the child in the child carrier may suffer from the effects of weather and temperature before you
do. Dress the child appropriately and occasionally check the temperature of their ears and face.
+ For sun protection, deploy the sunshade and for additional protection, apply sunscreen to child.
+ The child in the child carrier can become tired. Take frequent breaks when using your Poco LT Child Carrier.
+ Be careful to protect the child’s feet when the child carrier is on or near the floor in order to avoid injury.
+ Do not let the child stand on the child seat within the carrier.

1. POCO LT CHILD CARRIER SET-UP
1.1 If your Poco LT arrived in the stored, flat
position, disconnect the two half-red buckles
at the top of the lower pocket hidden behind
the frame.
1.2 Grab the two grab handles at the top of the child
cockpit and pull the cockpit open to expand the
unit from its stored position.
1.3 Connect the two red male buckles at the top of
the lower pocket with the two red female buckles
on each lower side of the child cockpit. Your Poco
LT is now locked into child carrying position.
1.4 If your Poco LT arrived with the harness and
hipbelt stored, fully unzip the backpanel cover
and store the cover in the open compartment at
the bottom of the backpanel.
To store and travel with your Poco LT, reverse Steps 1.1–1.4.

2. FIT THE ADULT
WARNING Child must not be in the carrier during the adult fit process.
HIPBELT SIZING 26"–48" / 66cm–122cm
TORSO SIZING 15"–21” / 38cm–53cm
2.1Loosen the harness, hipbelt and load
lifter straps.
2.2 Put the pack on and place the hipbelt
centered over the hipbones. Buckle and
tighten the hipbelt.
FIT THE HIPBELT
2.3After fitting the hipbelt, tighten the shoulder
harness by pulling the straps down and back.
Lastly, tighten the load lifter straps.
2.4 When properly fitted, the shoulder harness
yoke should rest 1-2 inches/2.5-5 centimeters
below your C7 vertebra (the bump at the base of
your neck).
FIT THE BACKPANEL AND HARNESS
2.5 Take the pack off and completely loosen the
pack’s load lifters and harness straps.
2.6 Slide hand between backpanel and harness to
release hook-and-loop attachment and slide
the shoulder harness up or down to the correct
torso length.
2.7 Push the hook-and-loop attachment down to
lock the backpanel into position. Your child
carrier is now fitted to the adult.

3. FIT AND SECURE THE CHILD
3.1 Open the Double Halo child harness by releasing
both red harness buckles located below the
child’s center back pad.
PREPARE THE CHILD COCKPIT
3.2 For proper fit, the child’s chin should be level
to the top of the drool pad at the front of the
cockpit. Place the child in the carrier to check if
adjustment is needed.
3.3 To move the seat into proper position, locate
the child’s center back pad that hides the child
harness attachment buckles from Step 3.1. Below
the back pad is a hook-and-loop attachment that
secures the child’s seat height in use.
ADJUST CHILD SEAT HEIGHT
To adjust the seat, follow these steps:
WARNING Child must not be in the carrier while adjusting seat height.
3.4 Slide a hand underneath the center back pad to
break the hook-and-loop connection.
3.6 Place child into carrier guiding each leg through
the corresponding left and right Double Halo leg
loops. Ensure proper fit by confirming the child’s
chin is level with the top of the drool pad.
3.5 Leave your hand behind the back pad to keep it
disconnected while adjusting the seat up or down
to fit the child’s size.
SECURE THE CHILD
3.7 Guide the child’s arms
through the Double Halo
harness arm loops.
3.8 Buckle the right and left
red harness male buckles
into the red female buckles
located behind the center
back pad.
3.9 Tighten to tension both right
and left straps so that the
harness is snug around the
child’s upper torso. The child
is now secure in the cockpit.

4. SAFELY PUT ON THE CHILD CARRIER
4.1 Before putting on the pack with child:
- Ensure the adult torso and hipbelt are properly
fitted on the adult. (Refer to Step 2)
- Ensure the child is properly fitted and secure
within the child carrier. (Refer to Step 3)
- Loosen one side of the harness — keeping the
side you intend to put on your shoulder first
tight and fitted.
- Unbuckle and loosen the adult hipbelt and
adult sternum strap.
4.2 While standing, face the adult backpanel and
use both handles at the front and rear of the
child cockpit to lift the child carrier and place the
frame onto your slightly bent knee.
Additional Recommendation
If a second adult is available to help, the dual
horizontal side panel handles are available to lift
the child carrier onto the adult’s back.
4.3 Slip your free arm through the tightened and
fitted harness strap, grab the handle in front
of the cockpit with your other hand and lift the
carrier up onto your shoulder.
4.4 While still holding the shoulder strap, lean
forward to stabilize the child and child carrier
on your back. Let go of the handle in front of the
cockpit, slip your free arm through the shoulder
harness and slide the child carrier onto both
shoulders.
4.5 Buckle and tighten the hipbelt. 4.6 Tighten the shoulder harness straps. 4.8 Buckle and tighten the sternum strap. You are
now ready to use your Poco LT Child Carrier.
4.7 Tighten the load lifter straps.

5To store your Poco LT sunshade, reverse Steps 1–4, taking care to ensure the sunshade webbing does not
spring back at the child.
SUNSHADE
The built-in sunshade, included on all Poco Child Carrier models, is easy to deploy from its dedicated zippered
pocket and offers convenient UV protection for the child.
1Unzip the sunshade pocket marked with
woven label, grab the cord loop on the top
of the sunshade and pull the sunshade out
of the pocket.
2Locate the hook-and-loop closure panel affixed
to the sunshade, align it with the hook-and-loop
closure panel affixed to the inside of the pocket
and apply pressure to the back and front of the
sunshade to fasten.
3Find the two toggles attached to the top two
corners of the backpanel. Then find the two
webbing lengths with sewn end loops that are
attached and hanging from the sunshade.
Securely pull one of these webbing lengths
toward the nearest toggle.
4Insert the toggle at the top of the backpanel
through the sewn end loop of the webbing length
attached to the sunshade. Repeat this step for
the webbing length on the other side to secure
the sunshade.

HOW TO FIT RAINCOVER ON POCO CHILD CARRIER
1 Fit the raincover over the deployed Poco sunshade.
2 Thread the two raincover toggles through the cord
loops on the bottom of the pack.
3 Wrap the two hook-and-loop straps around the
kickstand.
4 Buckle the raincover around the grab handle.

STANDARD MAINTENANCE
+ After each trip, be sure to clean out your pack thoroughly.
+ Clean zippers often to prevent them from failing. Use mild
soap,warm water and a soft brush.
+ If your pack is wet, hang it to dry before storing.
+ When your Poco is not in use, loosen all the straps.
+ Wash your pack if dirt, sweat, salt and stains have worked
their way into fabrics, webbing or mesh.
WASHING YOUR PACK
+ Brush out and remove gear, food, dirt or spilled items.
+ Do not wash in washing machine. Clean your pack and
components in a bathtub or large sink using a mild
detergent and warm water.
+ Agitate the pack gently and scrub all compartments and
pockets inside and out with a soft brush.
+ Brush clean all zippers and rinse the interior channels and
the exterior of all buckles.
+ Drain the soapy and dirty water from the bathtub or sink
and refill with cool clean water. Rinse the pack thoroughly.
+ Hang to dry outdoors or in a well-ventilated area out of
direct sunlight.

+ Prüfen Sie die Kindertrage vor jeder Verwendung darauf, dass alle Schnallen, Haken, Riemen und Arretierungen
sicher sind.
+ Untersuchen Sie die Kindertrage vor jedem Gebrauch auf Beschädigungen. Verwenden Sie die Kindertrage
nie, wenn der Rahmen verbogen ist. Verwenden Sie die Kindertrage nie, wenn irgendeine Schnalle defekt ist.

1.EINRICHTUNGDERPOCOLT-KINDERTRAGE
1.1 Wenn Ihr Poco LT in der flachen Lagerposition

1.3 Verbinden Sie die beiden roten Schnallenden
oben auf der Tasche an der Unterseite mit den
beiden roten Schnallenelementen auf jeder
Unterseite des Sitzbereichs für Kinder. Ihr Poco
LT ist jetzt in der Kindertrageposition verriegelt.
1.4 Wenn Ihr Poco LT mit verstautem Gurt und
Hüftgurt angekommen ist, öffnen Sie den
Reißverschluss der Rückenteilabdeckung
komplett und verstauen Sie die Abdeckung
im geöffneten Hauptfach am Boden des
Rückenteils.
Um Ihren Poco LT zu lagern und mit ihm zu reisen, führen die Schritte 1.1 bis 1.4 in umgekehrter Reihenfolge
durch.

2.1Lösen Sie den Gurt, den Hüftgurt und die
Lasthebeschlaufen.
2.2 Nehmen Sie den Rucksack auf und legen Sie
den Hüftgurt zentriert über die Hüftknochen.
Verschließen und straffen Sie den Hüftgurt.
ANPASSEN FÜR ERWACHSENE
2.4 Bei richtiger Montage sollte der
Schulterträgeransatz ca. 1–2Zoll/ 2,5–5cm
unterhalb des C7-Wirbels (die Beule an der Basis
des Halses) liegen.
ANPASSUNG DER RÜCKWAND UND DES GURTES
2.5 Nehmen Sie den Rucksack ab und lösen Sie die
Lastheber und Gurte des Rucksacks vollständig.
2.6 Führen Sie Ihre Hand zwischen Rückenteil und
Gurt, um den Klettverschluss zu lösen und
schieben Sie den Schultergurt nach oben oder
unten auf die richtige Körperlänge.
2.7 Ziehen Sie den Klettverschluss nach unten, um
das Rückenteil zu fixieren. Ihre Kindertrage ist
jetzt an den Erwachsenen angepasst.

3.PASSFORMUNDSICHERHEITFÜRDASKIND
3.1 Öffnen Sie den Double Halo-Kindergurt, indem
Sie beide roten Gurtschnallen unter dem
mittleren Rückenpolster des Kindes lösen.
DEN KINDERSITZ VORBEREITEN
3.2 Um eine gute Passform zu erreichen, sollte das
Kinn des Kindes auf Höhe des oberen Rands des
Sabberpolsters an der Vorderseite des Sitzes
sein. Platzieren Sie das Kind in den Kinderträger,
um zu prüfen, ob eine Anpassung erforderlich ist.
3.3 Um den Sitz in die richtige Position zu bringen,
suchen Sie das mittlere Rückenpolster des Kindes,
das die Befestigungsschnallen des Kindergurtes
aus Schritt 3.1 verdeckt. Unter dem Rückenpolster
befindet sich ein Klettverschluss, der den
Kindersitz auf der eingestellten Sitzhöhe sichert.
SITZHÖHE DES KINDES EINSTELLEN
Folgen Sie diesen Schritten, um den
Sitz anzupassen:

3.4 Schieben Sie eine Hand unter das mittlere
Rückenpolster, um den Klettverschluss
auseinanderzuziehen.
3.6 Platzieren Sie das Kind in die Trage und führen
Sie jedes Bein durch die entsprechenden linken
und rechten Double Halo-Beinschlaufen.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die richtige Passform
gewährleistet ist, indem Sie bestätigen, dass
das Kinn des Kindes auf gleicher Höhe mit dem
oberen Rand des Sabberpolsters ist.
3.5 Lassen Sie Ihre Hand hinter dem Rückenpolster,
um eine Verbindung zu verhindern, während Sie
den Sitz nach oben oder unten verstellen, um ihn
an die Größe des Kindes anzupassen.
SICHERHEIT FÜR DAS KIND

4.SICHERESAUFSETZENDERKINDERTRAGE
4.1 Bevor Sie den Rucksack mit dem Kind
aufnehmen:
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Torso- und der
Hüftgurt des Erwachsenen korrekt am
Erwachsenen angebracht sind. (Siehe Schritt 2)
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Kind
ordnungsgemäß in der Kindertrage sitzt und
gesichert ist. (Siehe Schritt 3)
- Lockern Sie eine Seite des Gurtes – halten Sie
die Seite, die Sie auf die Schulter legen wollen,
zuerst fest und ziehen diese an.
- Lösen und lockern Sie den Hüft- und Brustgurt
des Erwachsenen.
4.2 Während Sie stehen, schauen Sie auf den
Rückenteil des Erwachsenen und verwenden Sie
beide Griffe an der Vorder- und Rückseite des
Sitzbereiches für Kinder, um die Kindertrage
anzuheben und den Rahmen auf das leicht
gebeugte Knie zu legen.
Zusätzliche Empfehlung
Steht eine zweite erwachsene Hilfsperson
zur Verfügung, kann der Sitzbereich für
Kinder mithilfe der beiden horizontalen
Seitenteilgriffe auf den Rücken des
Erwachsenen gehoben werden.
4.3 Führen Sie Ihren freien Arm durch den
festgezogenen und befestigten Gurt, nehmen
Sie den Griff vor dem Sitz mit der anderen Hand
und heben Sie die Trage auf Ihre Schulter.
4.4 Während Sie immer noch den Schultergurt
halten, lehnen Sie sich nach vorne, um das
Kind und die Kindertrage auf dem Rücken zu
stabilisieren. Lassen Sie den Griff vor dem Sitz
los und schieben Ihren freien Arm durch den
Schultergurt und schieben so den Kinderträger
auf beide Schultern.
4.5 Verschließen und straffen Sie den Hüftgurt. 4.6 Ziehen Sie die Schultergurte fest. 4.8 Verschließen und straffen Sie den Brustgurt. Sie
können Ihre Poco LT-Kindertrage nun benutzen.
4.7 Ziehen Sie die Lastheberriemen fest.

5Um Ihren Poco LT-Sonnenschutz zu lagern, führen Sie die Schritte 1 bis 4 in umgekehrter Reihenfolge
durch und achten Sie darauf, dass das Gurtband des Sonnenschutzes nicht auf das Kind zurückspringt.
SONNENSCHUTZ
Der integrierte Sonnenschutz, der bei allen Poco-Kindertrage-Modellen zum Einsatz kommt, lässt sich einfach
aus der zugehörigen Reißverschlusstasche herausnehmen und bietet praktischen UV-Schutz für das Kind.
1Öffnen Sie die mit einem gewebten Etikett
markierte Sonnenschutztasche, greifen Sie
die Schnurschlaufe an der Oberseite des
Sonnenschutzes und ziehen Sie den
Sonnenschutz aus der Tasche.
2Suchen Sie das am Sonnenschutz befestigte
Klettverschlussfeld, richten Sie es auf das
an der Innenseite der Tasche befestigte
Klettverschlussfeld aus und üben Sie zum
Befestigen Druck auf die Rück- und Vorderseite
des Sonnenschutzes aus.
3Suchen Sie nach den beiden Knebelknöpfen, die
an den beiden oberen Ecken des Rückenteils
angebracht sind. Suchen Sie dann nach den
beiden Gurtbandlängen mit den festgenähten
Endschlaufen, die am Sonnenschutz befestigt
und aufgehängt sind. Ziehen Sie eine dieser
Gurtbandlängen sicher in Richtung des
nächstgelegenen Knebelknopfes.
4Stecken Sie den Knebelknopf oben am
Rückenteil durch die festgenähte Endschlaufe
der am Sonnenschutz befestigten
Gurtbandlänge. Wiederholen Sie diesen Schritt
für die festgenähte Endschlaufe auf der anderen
Seite, um den Sonnenschutz zu befestigen.

WIE SIE DEN REGENSCHUTZ AUF DER POCO-
KINDERTRAGE ANBRINGEN
1 Ziehen Sie den Regenschutz über den angebrachten
Poco-Sonnenschutz.
2 Fädeln Sie die beiden Knebelknöpfe des
Regenschutzes durch die Schnurschlaufen an der
Unterseite des Rucksacks.
3 Wickeln Sie die zwei Klettbänder um die
Seitenstütze.
4 Befestigen Sie den Regenschutz um den Haltegriff.
Osprey empfiehlt die Verwendung von Nikwax®-Produkten

ALLGEMEINE PFLEGE
+ Nach jeder Reise den Rucksack gründlich ausleeren.
+ Reinigen Sie häufig die Reißverschlüsse, um zu verhindern,
dass sie kaputt gehen. Verwenden Sie milde Seife, warmes
Wasser und eine weiche Bürste.
+ Wenn Ihr Rucksack nass ist, hängen Sie ihn vor dem Lagern
zum Trocknen auf.
+ Wenn Sie Ihren Poco nicht nutzen, lockern Sie
bitte alle Gurte.
+ Sollten Schmutz, Schweiß, Salz oder Flecken in das Material,
das Gurtband oder den Netzstoff eingedrungen sein, so
muss der Rucksack gewaschen werden.
IHRENRUCKSACK WASCHEN
+ Bürsten und entfernen Sie Lebensmittel, Schmutz oder
verschüttete Gegenstände aus.
+ Nicht in der Waschmaschine waschen. Den Rucksack
und Zubehörteile in einer Badewanne oder einem großen
Waschbecken mit einem milden Reinigungsmittel und
warmem Wasser waschen.
+ Schütteln Sie den Rucksack vorsichtig und bürsten Sie alle
Fächer und Taschen innen und außen mit einer weichen
Bürste aus.
+ Bürsten Sie alle Reißverschlüsse und spülen Sie die inneren
Kanäle und die Außenseite aller Schnallen.
+ Lassen Sie das Seifen- und Schmutzwasser aus der
Badewanne oder dem Waschbecken ab und füllen Sie es
mit kaltem, sauberem Wasser auf. Den Rucksack gründlich
spülen.
+ Den Rucksack draußen an einem gut belüfteten Ort ohne
direkte Sonneneinstrahlung zum Trocknen aufhängen.

Ne pas utiliser le porte-bébé si l'enfant n'est pas capable de s'asseoir tout
seul.
Ne pas utiliser le porte-bébé avec un enfant pesant moins de
7,25kg/16lb ou plus de 18kg/40lb. Ne pas utiliser le porte-bébé avec un
enfant de moins de six mois.
Ne pas laisser l'enfant dans ce porte-bébé sans surveillance!
Lorsque l'enfant est dans le porte-bébé, sa tête peut se situer au-dessus
de la tête de l'adulte. Il faut rester attentif aux dangers, par exemple les
cadres de portes, les branches basses des arbres, etc.
Lorsque vous utilisez le porte-bébé par grand froid ou grande chaleur
(notamment en cas d'exposition prolongée au soleil), les pièces de métal
exposées peuvent causer des brûlures à l'enfant. Veillez à ce qu'aucune
pièce en métal apparente ne se trouve à proximité de l'enfant lorsque
vous utilisez le porte-bébé.
Toujours utiliser le harnais de sécurité pour enfant afin d'empêcher
l'enfant de tomber ou glisser du porte-bébé, ce qui pourrait occasionner
de graves blessures.
Ne pas poser le porte-bébé sur un comptoir, une table ou toute autre
surface surélevée.

ATTENTION Lorsqu'il utilise le porte-bébé, l'adulte doit être informé des points suivants:
+ Le porte-bébé Poco LT est conçu pour un seul enfant, porté par un adulte.
+ Vérifier le porte-bébé avant chaque utilisation pour s'assurer que les boucles, boutons-pression, sangles et
réglages sont sécurisés.
+ Toujours vérifier que le porte-bébé n'est pas endommagé avant de l'utiliser. Ne jamais utiliser le porte-bébé
si l'armature est pliée. Ne jamais l'utiliser si une des boucles est cassée. Ne jamais l'utiliser si le tissu ou une
couture présente une déchirure.
+ Le porte-bébé convient à des activités de loisirs, mais déconseillé dans le cadre d'activités sportives (ski,
cyclisme, etc.)
+ Soyez prudent lors de la mise en place ou du retrait du porte-bébé.
+ L'équilibre de l'adulte peut être délicat en raison des mouvements de l'enfant ou de ceux de l'adulte.
+ L'adulte doit être particulièrement prudent s'il se penche en avant ou sur le côté.
+ Restez attentif à ce que l'enfant ne souffre pas des effets de la météo et des températures avant de le placer
dans le porte-bébé. Habillez l'enfant en conséquence et vérifiez régulièrement sa température au niveau des
oreilles et du visage.
+ En cas de soleil, dépliez le pare-soleil et appliquez une crème de protection à l'enfant.
+ Le transport dans un porte-bébé peut fatiguer l'enfant. Faites des pauses fréquentes lors de l'utilisation du
porte-bébé Poco LT .
+ Afin d'éviter tout risque de blessure, soyez attentif aux pieds de l'enfant lorsque le porte-bébé est proche du
sol ou à terre.
+ Ne laissez pas l'enfant se tenir debout sur le siège du porte-bébé.
