The Oster™ Wine Chiller with removable cord (FPSTBW8451) will
chill wine when the unit is plugged into a power outlet. Once the
wine is chilled the adaptor can be removed from the Oster™ Wine Chiller
and can then be taken to the table, acting as an ice bucket to maintain
the temperature of the wine.
HOW TO:
USING YOUR WINE CHILLER
It only takes about 8 minutes to perfectly chill a room
temperature bottle of white wine (See chart on page 8 for white
Zinfandel). No longer will
you have to wait hours for
the fridge or over 50 minutes
for the freezer to chill your
wine – perfect for those
unexpected visitors.

2Removable Cord - For added convenience once the
beverage is chilled, simply remove the cord and the Oster™
Wine Chiller can be taken to the table as an ice bucket,
maintaining the temperature of the wine.
3Removable agitating cover - the agitating cover can be
removed for cleaning to enable you to retrieve any loose
debris that could block the pump.
4Continuous on - To aid in chilling continuous beverages,
simply turn the timer dial to the left and the Oster™ Wine
Chiller will continue chilling beverage after beverage.

To enjoy a perfectly
chilled wine, follow
these 3 simple steps:
Step 1 - Place the bottle to be
chilled into the Oster™ Wine Chiller
and ideally add two trays (or two
hand fulls) of ice cubes. See the
‘Recommended Time and Ice
Quantities’table on page 8.
Step 2 - Using a jug, pour cold tap
water into the Oster™ Wine Chiller.
Fill up to the water level indicator
line or to the base of the neck of
the bottle.
Step 3 - Finally, set the timer
to the desired time. See the
‘Recommended Time & Ice
Quantities’table on page 8.
Note: For optimum chilling, any
new bottle chilled, remove the used
ice cubes and water, replace with new
ice cubes and fresh cold tap water.
Alternatively, consecutive bottles can
be chilled using the existing water,
however this will slightly alter the
chilling time.
Note: If the water and ice do not
seem to be circulating around the
bottle there may be too much ice
added. Turn o the unit, remove
some of the ice then turn it back on.
Once you have nished chilling
• When the beverage is chilled to
the desired temperature, turn the
control knob to‘‘OFF”(0) and
remove the adaptor from the
Oster™ Wine Chiller.
• Bring the Oster™ Wine Chiller to
the table or to wherever desired
and use it as an ice bucket to
keep the beverage cool once chilled.
• After you have nished using the Oster™ Wine
Chiller, empty contents and allow the unit to dry
thoroughly.
Stopping the Oster™ Wine Chiller while in use
Should for any reason you need to reduce the time
selected on the timer, you can do any of the following:
• slowly turn the timer dial in a counter clockwise
direction until the desired time is reached,
or
• remove the adaptor from the Oster™ Wine Chiller.
Using the continuous on feature
For chilling continuous beverages, simply turn the timer
dial to the left. To stop chilling slowly turn the timer dial
to the o position.

CARE & CLEANING
When you have nished using your Oster™ Wine Chiller, unplug
the AC adaptor from the power outlet and remove from the unit
before cleaning.
To clean, simply wipe the outside and inside body of the Oster™
Wine Chiller with a damp cloth. Once clean, ensure that the
appliance is dried thoroughly. Do not immerse.
Removing and cleaning the agitating cover
Should a price label or any other packaging label peel o the
bottle during chilling you may need to remove the agitating
cover to retrieve the loose debris. To remove, simply lift out
the black agitating cover, remove debris and wipe clean with a
damp cloth. Ensure that once any lose debris has been removed
that the agitating cover is replaced.

from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material
and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair or replace this product or
any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty
period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or
component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made
with a similar product of equal or greater value.This is your exclusive warranty.
Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on
this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial
retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof
of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers, service
centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not have the right to alter,
modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from
any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper

Una vez que el vino esté frío, se puede retirar el adaptador del enfriador

Para disfrutar de un vino
perfectamente frío, siga estos
tres pasos sencillos:
Paso 1 - Coloque la botella a enfriar en
el enfriador de vinos Oster™ y agregue
preferiblemente dos bandejas (o dos
puñados llenos) de cubos de hielo.
Consulte las recomendaciones de
tiempo y de cantidad de hielo en la
tabla de la página 18.
Paso 2 - Con una jarra, vierta agua fría
del grifo en el enfriador de vinos Oster™.
Llene hasta la línea indicadora del nivel
de agua o hasta la base del cuello de la
botella.
Paso 3 - Finalmente, ajuste el
temporizador al tiempo deseado.
Consulte las recomendaciones de
tiempo y de cantidad de hielo en
la tabla de la página 18.
Nota: Para enfriamiento óptimo de otra
botella, retire los cubos de hielo y el agua
utilizados, reemplace con nuevos cubos
de hielo y agua fría del grifo. Otra opción
es enfriar botellas consecutivas usando el
agua existente, sin embargo esto puede
alterar un poco el tiempo de enfriamiento.
Nota: Si no parece que el agua y el hielo
están circulando alrededor de la botella
quizás agregó demasiado hielo. Apague
la unidad, retire algo de hielo y luego
vuelva a encender.
Una vez que haya terminado
de enfriar
• Cuando la bebida se enfríe a la
temperatura deseada, gire la perilla de
control a la posición de apagado“OFF”(0)
y retire el adaptador del enfriador de
vinos Oster™.
• Lleve el enfriador de vinos Oster™ a la
mesa o al lugar deseado y use como una cubeta de
hielo para mantener la bebida fría una vez se haya
enfriado.
• Después de que termine de usar el enfriador de vinos
Oster™, vacíe el contenido y permita que la unidad se
seque completamente.
Cómo interrumpir el enfriador de vinos Oster™
mientras se usa
Si por alguna razón necesita reducir el tiempo seleccionado
en el temporizador, usted tiene las siguientes opciones:
• Lentamente gire el dial del temporizador en sentido
contrario al reloj hasta que llegue al tiempo deseado,
o
• Retire el adaptador del enfriador de vinos Oster™.
Cómo usar este aparato de forma continua
Para enfriar bebidas continuamente, simplemente gire
el dial del temporizador hacia la izquierda. Para dejar de
enfriar gire el dial del temporizador lentamente hacia la
posición de apagado (O).

CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
Cuando haya terminado de usar su enfriador de vinos Oster™,
desconecte el adaptador de corriente alterna del tomacorriente
y retírelo de la unidad antes de limpiar.
Para limpiar, simplemente pase un paño húmedo por dentro y fuera
de la base del enfriador de vinos Oster™. Una vez que esté limpio,
verique que el aparato se seque completamente. No lo sumerja
en agua.
Cómo retirar y limpiar la tapa agitadora
Si la etiqueta del precio o cualquier otra etiqueta de embalaje se
desprenden de la botella durante el enfriamiento, quizás deba retirar
la tapa agitadora para retirar los desechos sueltos. Para retirar,
simplemente levante la tapa agitadora negra, retire los desechos y
limpie con un paño húmedo. Verique que una vez haya retirado los
desechos se vuelva a colocar la tapa agitadora.

presente defectos durante el período de garantía. El reemplazo se realizará por
un producto o componente nuevo o reparado. Si el producto ya no estuviera
disponible, se lo reemplazará por un producto similar de valor igual o superior.
Ésta es su garantía exclusiva. No intente reparar o ajustar ninguna función
eléctrica o mecánica de este producto. Al hacerlo elimínará ésta garantía.
La garantía es válida para el comprador minorista original a partir de la fecha
de compra inicial y la misma no es transferible. Conserve el recibo de compra
original. Para solicitar servicio en garantía se requiere presentar un recibo de
compra. Los agentes y centros de servicio de JCS o las tiendas minoristas que
venden productos de JCS no tienen derecho a alterar, modicar ni cambiar de
ningún otro modo los términos y las condiciones de esta garantía.
Esta garantía no cubre el desgaste normal de las piezas ni los daños que se
produzcan como resultado de uso negligente o mal uso del producto, uso de
voltaje incorrecto o corriente inapropiada, uso contrario a las instrucciones
operativas, y desarme, reparación o alteración por parte de un tercero ajeno a
JCS o a un Centro de Servicio autorizado por JCS. Asimismo, la garantía no cubre
actos fortuitos tales como incendios, inundaciones, huracanes y tornados.
¿Cuál es el límite de responsabilidad de JCS?
JCS no será responsable de daños incidentales o emergentes causados por el
incumplimiento de alguna garantía o condición expresa, implícita o legal.
Excepto en la medida en que lo prohíba la ley aplicable, cualquier garantía o
condición implícita de comerciabilidad o aptitud para un n determinado se
limita, en cuanto a su duración, al plazo de la garantía antes mencionada.
JCS queda exenta de toda otra garantías, condiciones o manifestaciones, expresa,

JCS no será responsable de ningún tipo de daño que resulte de la compra,
