Thank you for purchasing Otone Audio’s VTXsound ANC headphones. These awesome
headphones bring you incredible audio with stylish design. VTXsound has been precision
engineered to give you high quality, advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). That means
that these headphones listen to the environment around you and cut out background noise, just
leaving you with the music you want to hear. Ideal for travelling in noisy places like on planes,
trains or even blocking out office chatter. Also featuring the incredible Vortex Drive™
technology to really boost your bass and enhance vocals to ensure you always get the best
from your tunes.

Getting Started

■ The Active Noise Cancellation feature has 3 settings
Before you can get the best from your VTXsound headphones you will need to insert the
batteries into the battery compartment.
The battery compartment is found at the bottom of the left ear cup and can be opened by using
your fingernail to release the catch and opening the cover. Ensure the batteries are inserted
fully and are facing the correct way around, now close the cover. Now you connect your
headphones to your audio source; simple take the 3.5mm cable and plug one end into your
headphones and the other end into your Smart phone, tablet or mp3 player etc

VTXsound is supplied with two cable options.
1. Standard 3.5mm cable for audio connection
2. 3.5mm cable with inbuilt microphone with remote control buttons.
The inbuilt microphone enables you to access certain phone functionalities via the remote
control. NB functionality will vary depending on phone type.
Listed below is default functionality for iPhone. You may need to test the remote control with
your own Smartphone and note the functionality, alternatively check the FAQ section on the
Otone support page of our website.

No Sound•
1. Check that the battery is fully charged or that the unit is correctly connected to an alternative
power source via the USB cable.
2. Check all audio cables are connected properly.
Background hiss or buzzing•
1. Check that your audio source volume is not set at 100% as this can sometimes cause
distortion.
2. The compression or quality of your audio source file can also effect sound quality if you are
using a digital audio source, the lower the quality of the source file, the worse the sound.
3. The sound quality can also be affected by low battery power, always try to ensure the
batteries are fully charged before beginning playback, for optimum sound reproduction
always use new batteries.

EN 55013 and EN 55020 and as defined by EU Directive 1999/5/EC and is CE-marked
accordingly.
