OPERATIONS:
1. To put the blade in use your supplied hex key to loosen the blade retention screw (the
screw hole closest to the emitter end of the saber), then shake the saber to rattle the
blade plug out. Push the blade in until it seats against the LED module inside, and
tighten the blade retention screw no more than ¾s of a turn.
2. To turn on the saber, first pull the plastic kill key, and you should hear a boot sound
(varies from font to font).
3. After the boot sound ends press and quickly release the switch, and the saber will ignite.
4. To turn off the saber, depress the momentary switch for 2-3 seconds then release.
5. To change sound fonts, depress the momentary switch for 5 seconds, you should hear 1
loud beep, followed shortly by a quieter beep, then the boot sound for the next font
should play.
6. When finished with the saber, put the kill key back into the recharge port to kill power
to the board, so the board is not continuously drawing power from the battery.
7. If the saber begins shutting off randomly during normal operations, making crackling
sounds, or phantom swings, that means your battery is low. Plug your charger into the
wall and the light should turn green, when you plug in your saber it should turn red.
When finished charging (approximately 30 min. to 2 hours depending on how depleted
the battery is) the light on the charger will turn green again.
8. Do NOT stab with blade. Blade is solid and does not retract, and therefore it may
cause bodily harm if stabbed at another person.
Be careful, enjoy your saber, and may the force be with you.
