BASIC OPERATIONS:
1. To put the blade in use your supplied hex key to loosen the blade retention screw (the
screw hole closest to the emitter end of the saber), then shake the saber to rattle the
blade plug out. Push the blade in until it seats against the LED module inside, and
tighten the blade retention screw no more than ¾’s of a turn.
2. To turn on the saber, first pull the plastic kill key, and you should hear a boot sound
(varies from font to font).
3. After the boot sound ends, press the momentary switch and the saber ignites.
4. To turn off the saber, depress the momentary switch for 2-3 seconds.
5. To change sound fonts: while the saber is in idle/sleep, hold down the button and a
quick beep is produced, then let go of the button, you are now in font selection menu.
Tap the button to cycle between "Sabercore Viridian" and "Sabercore Crimson". Hold
button to select.
6. To enter settings menu: while the saber is in idle/sleep, hold down button (you'll still
hear the short beep (as explained above), but don't let go of the button. Continue to
hold the button and you will enter the main menu, for which the settings you modify
will apply to the currently selected font.
7. When finished with the saber, put the kill key back into the recharge port to kill power
to the board, so the board is not drawing power from the battery.
8. If the saber begins shutting off randomly during normal operations, or making crackling
sounds, that means your battery is low. Plug your charger into the wall and the light
should turn green, when you plug in your saber it should turn red. When finished
charging the light on the charger will turn green again.
9. Do NOT stab with blade. Blade is solid and does not retract, and therefore it may
cause bodily harm if stabbed at another person.
Additionally, you get a 3 month warranty on the soundboard, and the LED unit in this
saber. If either of these quit working, let us know through the email address provided
and we’ll do our best to get it working again. However if you tamper with the internals
of the saber, the warranty is null and void.
Be careful, enjoy your saber, and may the force be with you.
