Read the instructions carefully and ensure that your BBQ is properly installed, assembled, maintained
and serviced in accordance with these instructions. Failure to follow these instructions may result in

operation of this barbecue, consult your dealer, gas supplier, the manufacturer or his agent.

WARNING AND SAFETY POINTS
1. Do not attempt to move barbecue whilst it is in operation.
2. Do not attempt to disconnect any gas tting if your barbecue is being used, including the gas hose
and regulator.
3. Care is advised when operating your barbecue, you should never leave it unattended when in use.
4. The barbecue should be cleaned on a regular basis. Take care not to enlarge burner ports of orice
openings when cleaning the burner or valves.
5. Do not attempt to use this appliance in a garage or any enclosed area. Ensure to keep clear of any
combustible materials, etc. We recommend keeping a distance of at least 0.5 to 1.0 meter clear of
any combustible materials.
6. We would recommend that this barbecue be serviced by your local gas retail outlet at least once a
year or by a competent engineer. Do not attempt to service this appliance yourself.
7. Do not attempt any unauthorized interference of the main controls on this barbecue, i.e. gas taps,
injectors, valve etc.
8. Any modication of the appliance may be dangerous and prohibited
9. The repair on the appliance must be carried out by a qualied person.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Always check the BBQ for leaks before using the BBQ. Test leakage as following:
• Connect the regulator and hose onto the gas cylinder and the BBQ, close all the valves by turning the
control knobs to“OFF”position.
• Put soapy water on all gas connections. Open the gas cylinder valve and the regulator. If bubbles
appear, tighten the connection. If bubbles still appear close all valves and go to your nearest retailer
for help. Never use the BBQ if any signs of leakage.
• Clear all soapy water after testing
• For your safety we recommend that the BBQ is tested for leaks between every replacement of gas
cylinder.
2. The gas cylinder can only be changed by a competent person.
3. The lid must always be open when lighting the burner.
4. Use oven gloves and sturdy long handled barbecue tools when cooking on the BBQ.
5. Be prepared if an accident or re should occur. Know where your rst aid kit and re extinguishers
are and how to use them correctly.
6. Keep any electrical supply cord and the fuel supply hose away from any heated surfaces.
7. Always cook with great care.
BARBECUE SAFETY
1. Place your barbecue on a safe level surface, away from ammable items such as wooden fences or
overhanging trees.
2. Never use your barbecue indoors!
3. Once lit do not move your barbecue or leave it unattended.
4. Remember that hot fat may drip out at the bottom of the re bowl.
5. Do not light your BBQ on a surface that may be damaged by the hot fat or heat generate by the BBQ
6. The barbecue will become hot when in use, so handle lid etc. with the help of mits/gloves.
7. Ensure that the appliance has completely cooled down before storing.

You will need a wrench, pliers, and a crosshead screwdriver for the assembly. Small
deviations in equipment, especially concerning the bolt pack contents, may occur. This
is not lack of quality but due to technical improvement.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION

PREPARATION
To operate this barbecue, you will need to purchase a LPG gas cylinder. You will also need to buy a
hose and a regulator If they are not supplied with the BBQ. The hose and regulator can be obtained
from your nearest gas retailer.
Warning:
• Only use a hose complied with standard EN16436 and in accordance with national regulations. The
hose cannot be longer than 1.5 meter.
• Only use a regulator complied with standard EN16129 and national regulations.
• Never leave the regulator attached to the gas cylinder if disconnected from the gas hose.
Energy saving tips
• Reduce the opening time of the lid.
• Turn the gas o as soon as you have nished cooking.
• Preheat the barbecue for 5 to 10 minutes only.
• (Except for the rst use. Preheat for 10 mins with the lid open)
• Do not preheat longer than recommended.
• Do not use a higher setting than required.
• Do not cook with the lid down using maximum heat settings.
INSTALLATION
After purchasing your gas cylinder you will then be ready to use your barbecue.
• Position the gas cylinder at the side of your barbecue, keeping in mind that the cylinder must be kept
away from heat and in a safe position.
• NEVER place the gas cylinder inside the cabinet of the barbecue
• Attach the regulator to the gas cylinder valve correctly (refer to the instruction manual provided by
the regulator).
• Connect one end of the gas hose to the barbecue and the other to the regulator, and tighten the
hose at either end using the jubilee clips.
• Perform the gas leak test as described in the SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
TIP: To connect the gas hose to the barbecue and regulator, we suggest
that the hose is softened in hot water or from the heat of a hair dryer. This will
make the hose easier to push on the barbecue and regulator.
Note:
Before attempting to light your barbecue you must refer to your lighting instructions and warning/
safety points.
Precaution:
• Check the hose before each and every use, looking for cracks, cuts or any abrasions.
• If the hose is found to be faulty in any way do not use your barbecue. Replace the hose, only with a
hose complied with standard EN16436 and in accordance with national regulations. The hose should
not be longer than 1.5 meters.
• Ensure that the hose is free from any kinks or bends that can aect the gas ow when using your
barbecue. The hose must not have undue tension and must not touch any part of the barbecue.
• When changing your gas cylinder ensure that there are no sources of ignition close by i.e. res, ciga-
rettes, naked blame etc. Make sure that the appliance is switched o.
• The gas cylinder should be changed only by a competent person in an outdoor well ventilated area,
and must be kept away from any source of ignition
• This appliance must be kept away from ammable materials.

LIGHTING INSTRUCTION
• Remove the lid from the barbecue (The lid must be open when lighting the burner!)
• Close the valve by turning the knob clockwise until it stops (do not over tighten).
• Open the regulator on the gas cylinder.
• Use a long match or similar and place the lit match through the hole at the opposite end from the
gas valve. Carefully turn the gas valve to the half way position and the burner should light.
• If the burner does not light at the rst attempt, turn o the gas supply and wait ve minutes, then
repeat the procedure.
Note: the ame can be adjusted only in the rst half turn of the knob.
CLEANING INSTRUCTION
• Turn the burner on for 5 to 10 minutes. Grease will be burned o from your BBQ as well as your ame
tamer plate.
• Ensure the appliance is cold before continuing. The BBQ should be cleaned periodically by soaking
and washing in soapy water. Use a wire brush, steel wool or a scouring pad to remove stubborn spots.
• Interior surfaces of the BBQ housing cover should also be washed with hot soapy water.
• Regularly clean the oil cup from excess oil or fat.
• Periodically check the burner to see that it is free from insects and spiders which may block the gas
system.
• Clean the venturi tube on the burner very carefully, checking to see it is free from obstructions. We
recommend that you use a pipe cleaner to clean the venturi tube area.
• Any modications of this appliance may be dangerous and is not permitted. Do not alter parts sealed
by the manufacturer
STORAGE
Your gas cylinder must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area and must be disconnected from
your barbecue when not being used. Ensure that you are outdoors and away from any sources of igni-
tion before attempting to disconnect your gas cylinder from your barbecue.
When using your barbecue after a period of storage, check for gas leaks and for any obstructions in the
burner etc. before use. Also follow the cleaning instructions to ensure barbecue is safe. If the barbecue
is stored outdoors check that all areas under the front panel are free from any obstruction (insects etc.)
This area must be kept free as this may aect the ow of combustion or air.
We recommend you use a BBQ cover to protect this item when not in use. BBQ must be cooled before
cover is added. Coves must be removed periodically to minimize moisture build up and damaged to
BBQ, as most covers are not breathable.
