SD324 ZigBee Smoke Detector
Quick Start Guide

1. Introduction
The SD324 ZigBee smoke detector is integrated with an
ultra-low- power ZigBee wireless module. It is a warning
device that allows you to detect the presence of smoke in
real time.
Note: it cannot sense gas, heat, flame, and cannot prevent or
put out fire.

2.2. Buttons Introduction
Test/mute button
Test the device to confirm it is able to work.
Reset button
Set the device to join the ZigBee network.
Reset this device to factory default settings.

3. Get started
To get started, you will need:
A SEG-X3 Smart Gateway
A SD324 Smoke Detector
The mobile app
Then follow the steps below:
Step 1: Remove the pull tab to power on the device.
Tip: If the there is no battery inside, please install a CR123A
battery into it.
Step 2: Select “Add new devices” in the menu of the app.

Tip: for this step, you could also press the “Z” button of the
gateway for two seconds until the LED indicator turn solid
blue.
Step 3: Use a pin key tool to press and hold the reset button
for two seconds until the LED flashes green to add it to the
system, the LED will turn solid for a while if pairing is
successful, please go to the app to check if it is successful
paired.

Step 4: Install the device.
The bracket should be affixed using screws or double-side
tape.
Please ensure all surface are clean, dry, flat and the
temperature is over 10c before attempting to place the
devices, or the adhesive will not be fully effective.

If using screws, attach the bracket to the respective surfaces
using the screws provided.

4. FAQ
Q1. How can I return the device to default factory settings?
A1: Use a pin key tool to press and hold the reset button for
five seconds until the LED flashes six times.
