WARNING
• Read the instruction in this manual carefully and thoroughly, as they give important
information regarding safety during use and maintenance. Keep this manual with the unit,
in order to consult it in the future. If the unit is sold or given to another operator, make
certain that it always has its manual, to enable the new owner to read about its operation
and relative instructions.
• To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this product under a high temperature.
• Take care not to damage the power cord.
• After having removed the packaging check that the unit is NOT damaged in any way.
• If in doubt, DON’T use it and contact an authorized dealer.
• NEVER use the unit under the following conditions:
- In places subject to vibrations or bumps.
- In places with a temperature of over 40 °C or less than 0 °C.
• DO NOT open the unit-there are no user serviceable parts inside.
• NEVER try to repair the unit yourself. Repairs by unqualified people could cause damage
or faulty operation. Contact your nearest dealer.
• Wait for at least one second to turn on the power after turning off this unit.
• Packaging material (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, etc.) MUST NOT be left within
children’s reach, as it can be dangerous.
• STOP using the unit immediately In the event of serious operation problems and either
contact your local dealer for a check or contact us directly.
• DO NOT dismantle or modify the unit.
• If in doubt, DON’T use it and contact an authorized dealer.
• This unit must only be operated by adults. DO NOT allow children to tamper or play with it.

4. Operation guide
A-Feature
The NetBox MS is an ArtNet / DMX tool, it allows you to manage DMX to ArtNet and ArtNet
to DMX data.
The Netbox MS is provide with easy to use presets, those presets are made for
non-specialist user and change all the configuration of the Netbox MS to go from Node to
Merger or splitter in one step.
Furthermore, the Netbox MS have an advanced mode to modified every output and input in
the way you need it.
B- Default Display
1 - IP address and IP Mask of the product
2 - Active preset, if there is a "*" near the name of the preset this mean the preset have
been modified in advanced menu.
3 - State of XLR5F
a.b a = Port number : from 1 to 8 b = State of port number :
O = Output / I = Input / M = Merge / X = Disable
ccc ccc = 1st port (could be from artnet = 000 to 255 or DMX = A or B or Disable = Left blank)

D- NAVIGATION THRU MENU
From default menu, if you turn jog wheel nothing happened, to enter menu you need to push
the jog wheel first.
When you are in the menu, turn the jog wheel to navigate thru menu.
Once you have chosen your desired menu, press the jog wheel to open the desired menu. To
return to the previous step you have to choose «Exit» in the menu.
E – FEATURES
1 NETBOX PRESET
This menu allows you to change the full configuration of the Netbox MS from Node to Splitter
or Merger in one step. You have 12 pre-programmed presets and 4 customisable presets. See
next topic to have detailed list of those presets.
2 IP CONFIGURATION
You could change IP and Mask of the Netbox MS in this Menu. Mask data could only reach
000 OR 255 values.
3 NETBOX ADVANCED CONFIGURATION
This menu allows you to change all states of each DMX port of the Netbox MS.
>PORT : 01
To choose wich port you want to modify from Out 01 to 08 or Input 0A or 0B
>MODE : INPUT
To Choose in wich mode you will use the selected port : INPUT, OUTPUT, MERGE or DISABLE
If you choose INPUT you will have access to the following menu :
3.1 INPUT CONFIGURATION
>SENT TO : ARTNET 000
You could choose here in which Artnet universe or DMX port you want to send the selected
DMX port from universe 000 to 255 or DMX 01 to 08
If you choose OUTPUT you will have access to the following menu :
3.2 OUTPUT CONFIGURATION
>FROM : ARTNET 000
You could choose here which Artnet universe you want to send out thru the selected DMX port
from universe 000 to 255.
If you choose MERGE you will have access to the following menu :
3.3 MERGE CONFIGURATION
>1st FROM : ARTNET 000 / 2nd FROM : DMX A
You choose here the two Input you want to merge. Input could be Artnet universe or DMX

Input from universe 000 to 255 or DMX 0A or 0B. The order is important for Priority mode but
do not change anything in HTP or LoTP mode.
>MODE : HTP / LoTP / Priority
HTP : The Highest value take precedence.
LoPT : The Lowest value take precedence.
Priority : If the first universe is available then it take precedence on the second, else if the first
is not available the second one take precedence.
>RESENT TO ARTNET : 000
You could choose here to resend into an Artnet universe the universe you just create on the
selected port from universe 000 to 255.
Be carefull, there is a limitation, you could not use the resend universe with another port.
If you choose DISABLE you will have access to the following menu :
3.4 DISABLE CONFIGURATION
>DISABLE : NO
>RECORD TO CUSTOM : NO
As soon as modify some port state in the advanced menu you could record your configuration
in your own custom preset. There is 4 customs preset available.
4 SETTINGS
>TIME BEFORE AUTOLOCK : NO AUTOLOCK
Choose if you want to autolock the Netbox MS to avoid unintentional change, only two
possibilities No Autolock or after 30s.
>DMX OUT FRAME RATE : NORMAL
By default (Normal) the Netbox MS transmit data at the same frame rate it receive it, if you
have trouble with frame rate you could force it to 40 ms. Only two possibilities Normal or
Slow.
>CONTRAST : 01
Change the contrast of the screen from 1 to 15
5 RESET / UPDATE
>RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS ? : NO
To restore default setting, this will erase customs preset
>UPDATE MODE : NO
To update the product, you need a TBOX G2 and a male/male XLR5 adaptor to do this using
port 01.
