•This product is not a toy, and is only to be used for its designated purpose.
•Do not carry out alterations or modifications to this product.
•This product contains small parts that could be a choking hazard if swallowed. Keep
these items away from children.
•Do not discard any of the packaging until you have checked that you have all the
parts and fittings required.
•Make sure all fastenings are tightly in place and that everything is in order before
using the product. This should be checked periodically by an adult.
•Never leave children unattended near this trap. Children should be supervised at all
times when using the product.
•Do not attempt to handle any captured animals.
•Always wear heavy duty gloves when operating the trap.
•Clean only with a damp cloth. Do not use strong industrial cleaning substances.
•Leaving the product outside exposed to weather, especially direct sun and rain, will
speed the weathering process. This can be slowed by removing the product from
these conditions, or covering it with a suitable cover.

Setting the Trap
1. Unfold the trap and ensure that the metal floor plate is flat. This plate will trigger the trap door.
2. Pull down the support arms and fix them into the clips on either side of the trap.
3. Insert the lock wire through the designated holes and door rings to ensure the rear door doesn’t open.

4. Attach the trap hook to the floor plate and then to the U-bend spring clip on the door. Ensure the hook
on the spring holds the door open in the cocked position.
5. Once the trap is set correctly, the floor plate should raise about 5cm.

Releasing the Animal
1. Lift the door up and insert a stick/tube through
both sides of the trap keep the door open.
2. Walk away from the trap and allow the animal
to exit.
