While every attempt is made to ensure the highest degree of protection in all equipment, we cannot

•Make sure all fastenings are tightly in place and that everything is in order before using
the product. This should be checked periodically by an adult.
•This product is intended for outdoor use only.
•This product is not a toy, and is only to be used for its designated purpose.
•Do not carry out alterations or modifications to this product.
•Children should be supervised at all times when using the product.
•Clean only with a damp cloth. Do not use strong industrial cleaning substances.
•Leaving the product outside exposed to weather, especially direct sun and rain, will speed
the weathering process. This can be slowed by removing the product from these
conditions.
•Keep fingers, loose clothing, and hair away when using the handle. Pinch points can cause
personal injury.
•When the sound of the detector weakens, replace the battery.
•Handle the metal detector gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage the internal
circuit board and case and may cause the metal detector to work incorrectly.
•This product is for domestic use only.
•Do not discard any of the packaging until you have checked that you have all of the parts
and fittings required.
•Search coil pad is waterproof and can be submerged in either fresh or salt water. However,
do not let water enter into the handle section. After use in a salt water environment, rinse
with fresh water to prevent corrosion of the metal parts.
•Make sure you have permission from the land owner before searching any site.
•Observe all national and local laws while treasure hunting.
•Leave the land and vegetation as you found it. Fill in any holes that you may dig.

Installation of Battery
1. Loosen the screw with a screwdriver, then remove the battery compartment cover (C).
2.
Insert the battery in the correct direction as indicated by the marks in the battery compartment.
Adjusting the Search Coil
1. Loosen the knob at the search coil and rotate the coil angle until it is parallel to the ground.
2. Tighten the knob so it is tight enough to prevent the search coil from rotating or wobbling.

Adjusting the Stem
1.
Turn the stem locknut clockwise until it loosens (A).
2. Adjust the stem to the required length (B).
3.
Retighten the locknut anti-clockwise to lock it in
place.

Operation
1. In the area you wish to search, hold the metal detector away from any metal objects. Turn the
ON/OFF sensitivity dial away from the OFF position until the LED lights and a beep sound is heard.
Rotate the dial backward slightly until the sound disappears. (This is the key point to adjust the
metal detector to the most sensitive state.)
2. Hold the search coil level and around 1-2 inches above the ground and slowly move the search
coil over the ground in a side-to-side motion.
3. Once a metal object is detected a solid light will be seen with a strong beep sound.
Note:
•The most sensitive state is subject to change depending on the variation of the surrounding
conditions.
•The sensitivity of this metal detector is around 8cm depth for a coin, when the coil is parallel with
the flat surface of the coin.
•The sound volume and LED light that indicate a metal object has been found are not always at the
same level; this is determined by the surrounding conditions, the type of metal, and the object
size and depth.
Search Hints
1. Always use and re-adjust the most sensitive state for each search.
2. Never sweep the search coil as if it were a pendulum.
3. Take your time, you may miss a target if you walk too fast.
