• Do not operate electric wine opener with a damaged cord or plug,
after the appliance malfunctions or if it is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service
center for examination and repair.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put the electric
wine opener in water or any other liquid. This may cause personal
injury and/or flammable fumes.
• To protect against fire, do not operate the unit in the presence of
hazardous materials and/or extreme temperatures.
• This product is intended for normal domestic household use only.
Do not use the electric wine opener for other than its intended use.
•When using or recharging the electric wine opener keep your
workspace clean and free from potential hazards.
• For indoor use only. Do not expose the electric wine opener or
charging unit to rain or other extreme conditions.
• Never force the electric wine opener onto a bottle or attempt to
speed up the motor. The electric wine opener will work best
when it is operated at its intended speed.
• Do not touch or adjust the electric wine opener’s motor or the
corkscrew spiral. Only hold the electric wine opener by its outer
housing and its indicated grip.
• Do not attempt to open bottles if the up/ down button is not
working.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the electric wine opener or the
recharging unit. It has no serviceable parts. Your electric wine
opener is guaranteed for one year. In the event of a malfunction
during your warranty period, please contact our customer
service department.
•Only recharge the electric wine opener using the recharging unit
supplied.
• Always unplug the charger if you do not intend to use your
corkscrew for a long period. To disconnect from the power
supply, grip the transformer and pull from the power socket.
• Never remove the plug from socket by pulling the power cord.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry and safe place.

Follow the instructions below to charge the Ozeri Electric Wine
Opener before using it for the first time.
1) The charging adaptor and charging base. Insert the charging
adaptor DC jack to the charging base (at back of the base).
2) Place the wine opener into the charging base and ensure
that it is firmly in position and fully engaged with the
charging base.
3) Insert the other end of the charging adaptor to a power socket.
A red LED light in the base will flash to indicate the unit is
charging. The electric wine opener requires 12 hours to fully
charge before first use.
4) The red LED light will change to green when the wine opener
is fully charged. The electric wine opener can be partially
recharged after each use. For the best battery performance,
periodically discharge the battery by using the wine opener
until the motor begins to slow down.

CONNECTION AND USE
We recommend that you charge your electric wine opener for 12
hours before using it for the first time. Please follow instructions for
recharging below:
RECHARGING YOUR ELECTRIC WINE OPENER
Plug one end of the adapter cord into the base of the charging unit
and the other end into the main socket. Place the electric wine
opener into the recharging unit while making sure that it is firmly in
position and that it is fully engaged with the recharging
connections.The red LED light will change to green when the wine
opener is fully charged. When your electric wine opener is fully
charged, it can be used to open up to 80 bottles.
OPERATING YOUR ELECTRIC WINE OPENER
The electric wine opener is operated by a single
up/down button. The button has two functions. With
the Ozeri Electric Wine Opener securely placed on
top of an unopened wine bottle, press the lower part
of the button (down button) to remove the cork from
the bottle. Pressing the upper part of the button will
release the cork from the Ozeri Electric Wine
Opener after you have removed it from the bottle.

1) Before removing the cork, remove any
foil from the bottle using the foil cutter
provided.
2) Place the electric wine opener on top
of the wine bottle making sure that it
remains as upright as possible at all
times. If you hold the electric wine
opener at an angle to the bottle, it will
not remove the cork properly. Hold
the electric wine opener firmly and
press the lower part of the button.
The corkscrew spiral will turn in a
counterclockwise direction and enter
the cork, then gradually remove it
from the bottle. When the electric
wine opener’s motor has stopped,
the cork has been fully removed from
the bottle.

3) Lift the electric wine opener away
from the bottle. To remove the cork,
simply depress the upper part of the
button. The spiral will turn in a
clockwise direction and release the
cork.
4) Return the electric wine opener to the recharging unit when not
in use. The recharging unit will help prevent the wine opener
from accidentally tipping over. While the electric wine opener
can be partially recharged after each use, periodically
discharging the battery by using the wine opener until the
motor slows down will maximize battery performance.
NOTE: To ensure proper cork removal, always hold the Electric
Wine Opener directly over the bottle in a vertical orientation,
thereby avoiding angles. The electric wine opener may
experience problems with a small percentage of plastic/synthetic
and undersized corks. If this is the case, the cork should be
removed manually.

Your “Ozeri Electric Wine Opener” is warranted to the original owner for 1
year from the date of purchase against defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and service. Should your Electric Wine
Opener prove defective within 1 year from the date of purchase, return the
defective part or unit, freight preparid along with an explanation of the
claim to “Ozeri Electric Wine Opener.” Please pack your Electric Wine
Opener carefully to avoid damage in transit. Under the warranty, Ozeri will
repair or replace any parts found to be defective due to maufacturer’s
defect. This warranty extends only to personal use and does not extend to
any product that has been used for commercial use, rental use, or use
which is not intended. There are no warranties other than that expressly
set forth herein. This warranty is not transferable. Ozeri is not responsible
in any way for damages, losses or inconveniences caused by equipment
failure or by user negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the
“User Guide” or any additional safety, use, or warnings included in the
product materials. Further, Ozeri is not liable for incidental or
consequential damages of any nature resulting from the use of this product
and any liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, alterations or vandalism.
- Improper or inadequate maintenance.
- Unauthorized modification or commercial use.
- Damage in return transit
- Unsupervised use by children under 18 years of age
