Pacvac Pty Ltd warrants all Hydropro model machines and their components against faulty material and/or
workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase to the original user and subject to the
following conditions:
1. This warranty shall not apply to any part of the machine that is expendable, such as but not limited
to hoses, power cord, carbon brushes, oor tools, bags and lters.
2. No warranty shall apply to any machine or component that has been altered, abused, neglected
or modied in any way. Only genuine Pacvac components to be used. Pacvac reserves the right to
repair or replace parts claimed as faulty at its discretion.
3. The placing upon a Pacvac machine of any attachment or equipment not manufactured or sold
by Pacvac or authorised by it, shall void any warranty.
4. Pacvac shall not in any event be liable for any consequent or contingent loss or damage whatsoever.
5. Labour on any warranty will be covered within the rst 12 months.
6. Warranty repairs can only be carried out by an authorised Distributor or Service Agent who is a licensed
Electrical Contractor.
7. Freight costs will be the purchaser’s responsibility.


1. This Manual shall be considered an integral part
of the machine and should be carefully looked
after for subsequent reference.
2. Remove the machine from packaging and
ensure it and all its accessories and attachments
are present and in perfect condition.
3. Ensure the electrical data of the machine that
is shown on the data plate, corresponds to
those of the mains supply in your area. If the
machine is without a data plate, please contact
Pacvac immediately.
4. Read the Product Manual before using the
machine and always follow all instructions.
5. WARNING Operators shall be adequately
instructed on the use of this machine.
6. This machine is intended for the vacuuming
of non-combustible and/or non-hazardous
dry dust, small debris or liquid off wet or dry,
carpeted or hard oor surfaces in indoor
areas only.
7. This machine is intended for commercial use,
for example in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories,
shops, ofces and rental businesses.
8. Do not unplug the machine while it is turned on.
Turn the switch OFF – then unplug.
9. Do not unplug the power cord by pulling on the
power cord only. To unplug, grasp the plug and
pull gently.
10. Unplug from power point when not in use,
before servicing or before changing lters,
brushes and/or attachments.
11. Do not use outdoors.
12. WARNING This machine is for wet or dry use.
13. CAUTION This machine shall be stored indoors
only.
14. CAUTION This machine is for indoor use only.
15. Use only the manufacturer’s recommended
attachments.
16. Regularly check the power cord for damage,
such as cuts, abrasions, exposed wiring or aging.
If the power cord or plug is damaged, the
complete power cord must be replaced by your
local Authorised Pacvac Service Agent in order
to avoid a hazard. Only replace the power cord
with the same specications.
17. If the machine has been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors or dropped into water, return it to
your local Authorised Pacvac Service Agent for
a safety check.
18. Do not handle the machine, power cord or plug
with wet hands.
19. Do not use the machine to pick up ammable
or combustible liquids, such as petrol etc., and
do not use in areas where they may be present.
20. WARNING This machine is not suitable for picking
up hazardous dust.
21. Do not vacuum anything that is burning or
smoking such as cigarettes or hot ashes.
22. Do not use the machine for vacuuming dry dust
if the dust bag and lters are not in place.
23. Put away after use to prevent tripping accidents.
24. This machine is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
machine by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the machine.
25. This machine has an “A-weighted emission
sound pressure level below 85dB(A)”.
26. WARNING Do not allow power cord to come
into contact with rotating brushes.
27. Attachment Use
Part No. E917 is intended for vacuuming of liquid
dust and debris off oor surfaces.
Part No. E911 is intended for vacuuming of liquid,
dust and debris from crevices.
Part No. E910 is intended for vacuuming of liquid
or dust from walls.

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted
municipal waste, use separate collection facilities.
Contact your local government for information
regarding the collection systems available.
If electrical appliances are disposed of in landlls
or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the
groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging
your health and wellbeing.

34. Transportation and Storage
This machine and attachments should be
packed in double wall, corrugated cardboard
boxes with the following dimensions depending
on the model.
• Hydropro 21 – 41cm x 41cm x 58cm
• Hydropro 36 – 41cm x 41cm x 77cm
• Hydropro 76 – 60cm x 59cm x 105cm


 Read the instruction manual before
operating machine.

1. All power conduction parts must be protected
against water.
2. All maintenance and/or repairs performed on
the machine must always be done with the plug
disconnected from the power supply.
3. Check all power cords, for cuts, abrasions and
exposed wiring.
4. Wind up the power cord from machine end.
Store the power cord on “hook” of machine.
5. Check the oor tool, wand, bent hand piece and
hose for any obstructions.
6. Operation with a Residual Current Device (RCD),
available from Pacvac Distributors, can provide
additional protection for the operator.
7. Only ever use the machine for the purposes for
which it has been designed and manufactured.
8. In case of leaks of liquids, foams etc., turn the
machine off at the power point immediately.
9. When full of liquid the machine should be
drained using a tipping action or drain hose if tted.

1. Do not leave the machine running and unguarded
nor within reach of children, animals or persons
that are not responsible for their own actions.
2. Do not vacuum inammable combustion
substances (e.g. hot ashes), explosive and/or
toxic substances, electrostatic or substances
that are hazardous to health.
3. Do not rest the vacuum inlet on or move it close
to delicate parts of the body (e.g. eyes, ears,
mouth etc.).
4. Do not touch the plug or socket with wet hands.
5. Do not soak the machine or spray it with liquid
substances.
6. Do not pull or lift the machine using the power cord.
7. Do not operate the machine in a conned space
and/or explosive atmosphere.
8. Do not attempt to lift the machine when full of liquid.
9. Do not use the machine for dry dust if the dust
bag and lters are not in place.
10. Do not use the machine if uncertain or if there
is a suspect fault of any kind, including any not
mentioned in this manual.
 Any other servicing should be performed by an
authorised and licensed technician.


1. Check the position of the lter and head tank fastening latches. Incorrect lter positioning can cause
diminished performance and/or serious damage to the machine.
2. Fit the appropriate oor tool insert by sliding out the end panels on the oor tool, tting insert and
then sliding end panels back into position (Refer to diagram below).
3. Fit the Hose to the vacuum inlet on the machine. Fit the required accessory to the hose.
4. Ensure switch is in the ‘O’ (Off Position) then connect the power cable of the appliance to the
power outlet.
5. To vacuum liquids, empty any dust or debris from the container and remove the cloth lter.
 Always ret the cloth lter when vacuuming dry dust in order to avoid damage to the appliance.

1. Keep the ventilation outlets clear and do not place any objects on the machine at any time.
2. Set and use the machine on a sound and stable surface.
3. Ensure the machine has been prepared appropriately for the intended task. Turn on power at the
power source then turn on the power switch of the machine.
4. The machine features a oating valve that interrupts the vacuum when the tank is full. In the event
the machine stops functioning, turn off, unplug the machine and then empty the tank.
5. Do not use the machine in case of malfunction, bad operation or if electrical parts are not properly
insulated. If in doubt, contact the place of purchase or Pacvac.

1. Periodically remove and clean the vacuum lter. The cloth lter can be washed in water with detergent.
After washing, ensure the lter is absolutely dry before installing and using in machine.
2. Replace the lter in case of holes, cuts or faults in general. Important: Damaged lters can allow dust
and debris to cause serious damage to the machine.
3. Regularly check and free any blocked parts such as hoses, wands or attachments.
4. Empty and clean the tank after every use and never leave dust or liquid in the tank for long periods.

The machine does not start. No power. Check the main fuse and plug and ensure
the power cord is rmly plugged into the
power point.
The machine suddenly stops. The dust collection tank is full
causing overheating and
activation of thermal protection
device.
Turn off the machine. Unplug the machine.
Empty and clean dust collection tank. Wait
for machine to cool down. Resume start up
procedure.
No power. Check the main fuse and plug and ensure
the power cord is rmly plugged into the
power point.
Reduction suction power. Filter not installed correctly. Ret lter making sure the rubber edging is
correctly tted around the canister.
Hose not installed correctly. Reconnect hose and ensure
correctly sealed.
Blockages Remove hose, wand and oor tools;
remove any blockages.
Blocked lter. Clean the lter.
Suction power suddenly drops. Tank is full. Turn off the machine. Unplug the machine.
Empty and clean dust collection tank.
Latches do not clamp properly. Vacuum head is not placed
properly on tank. Reposition vacuum head on tank and clamp down.
Latches have been
damaged and deformed.
Lightly warm latches with a heat gun.
Latches will then return to their original
shape. Wait until latches have cooled down
before resuming use.

Check all
electrical leads,
for cuts, abrasions and
exposed wiring.
Check the oor tool, wand,
bent hand piece and hose
for any obstructions.


Servicing of the machine is recommended the earlier of every 200 hours of use or at least once a year.
