3. PadBot P2 InstallationBody Installation
1) Screw Body Fixer up to fix robot body, and follow correct direction to connect Body line with Base port.
2) Use screw key to fix M6 screw, and cover it with offered black plastic part.

4. PadBot P2 Tablet Installation, Connect Tablet with Body properly, and use M4 screw to fix Tablet.
5. How to StartLong press Main Switch until screen start.
6. Should connect with Internet, supporting WiFi & 4G:
WiFi: recommending bandwidth 8Mbps.
4G:Tablet supports Sim Card,Micro Sim Card Supported

3.2 Way two: Connect charger into the port of Charging Base, use Charging Base to charge robot. After turn on “ auto
charge” function in App, robot will find Charging Base automatically if short of battery, and charge itself. After finish
charging, it will leave Charging Base automatically.

1. Robot equips with lithium battery, please charge robot fully in the first time to guarantee normal operation.
2. During charging, the charger’s light is red, when charge fully, the light turns green. And charger still shows green if connects no robot.
3. Two ways to charge robot:
3.1 Way one: Charging by DC charging port.

Start robot after fixing Tablet, and open PadBot Telepresence Robot App; download PadBot Telepresence Admin
App as the User side.

PadBot Telepresence Robot App--Main Interface
Click the App, enter into Main Interface. There shows the serial number and QR Code of robot, scan QR Code
with PadBot Telepresence Admin App firstly, to be the robot’s administrator.

In Main Interface, slide to left to switch to Robot Info page. There are the basic information of robot like: Icon,
nickname, serial number and current status, etc.

PadBot Telepresence Robot App--Robot Settings
1.In Robot Info page, click edit button to enter into Settings page.
2.Robot speed: there are 4 speed levels available, the higher level, the quicker speed.
3.Auto Charge: open auto charge function. When robot battery lower than 10%, robot will find nearby Charging
Base to charge itself automatically. Please close this function if no Charging Base available.
4.Collision Prevention: after open this function, robot will detect obstacles automatically during moving, and if
there are obstacles, robot will show obstacles’ place and stop.

1. Open PadBot Telepresence Admin App, log in with phone number.
2. After log in, click “+” icon in Main Interface, find “Scan” option to add robot or add a specific video
invitation into list. Scan QR Code in Main Interface to become the administrator of robot, or scan invitation
Code to accept video invitation.

PadBot Telepresence Admin--How to Set Up Video Invitation
As administrator, user can set up video invitation by clicking “Invite” button. In set-up page, user can edit all
details. After finish, share the invitation to relative people to join the video chat.

PadBot Telepresence Admin--Video Call
2. After video connecting successfully, user can control
robot to look up or down, move forward or backward,
turn right or left;click buttons in left bottom to switch
views, adjust volumes, etc.

1. In main interface, click “ Video Call” button in robot
(as administrator) or “Video Call” button in meeting list
(as participant) to start video chat, and control robot to
move around after connecting successfully.

As administrator, user can control robot to move forward or backward, turn right or left by using “Control”
button. In Control page, user can also adjust robot speed and control robot to charge.

Q1Cannot do Auto Charging
A1. Check if robot opens auto charging function. Click “Settings” and check if “Robot Self Charging” opened.
2. Using charger to charge robot, if the indicator light is red means the robot can charge successfully.
3. Plug charger into charging base, and pull robot to charge through the charging base. If the indicator light is red, it
means the robot can charge successfully.
4. It’s normal when battery indicator flashes when charging; if indicator flashes when not charging, please check
robot’s hardware.
Q2Does it support 4G LTE card
AYes, it support 4G LTE card, and also support WiFi.
Q3How to set up video invitation?
ALog in PadBot Telepresence Admin App, and click “Invite” button in Main Interface to set up video invitation.
Share invitation with relative people, so they can join the meeting conveniently.
Q4Does it support setting up several invitations?
AYes, administrator can set up several invitations. Open PadBot Telepresence Admin App, choose the robot,
administrator can check already set video invitations. And click “+” in this page for adding new invitations.
Q5How to join the video chat?
AClick the invitation links received from Facebook to join, or use “Scan” function in PadBot Telepresence
Admin App to scan QR Code of the invitation to join.

Questions about Video Call
Q1Cannot Answer Video Call
A1. Check the camera of robot to see if it works successfully.
2. Check if giving authorization to camera and microphone, if not, please open these authorizations in Settings of
handhold device. For example, to open camera authorization in iOS device is “Settings→Privacy→Camera→PadBot
Telepresence Admin”; for Android device, please follow “Settings→Installed Apps→PadBot Telepresence Admin-
Permissions”.
3. Check if the Internet works fluently.
4. If still cannot do video call, please uninstall the APP and install again.
Q2Does it support group video call?
AFor now, it can only support one to one video call.
Q3How can my friends do video chat with me?
AYou can set up an video invitation, and share the link or invitation QR Code to your friends. By clicking the links or
scanning the QR Code, your friends will join the video call easily.
Q4There are noises in video call
AWhen the communicating parties are in the same place, the mutual voices will interfere with each other and make
noise. It won’t happen in distant call.
