1.2 Product description
1.3 Instructions for charging
NOTE!
The FINDER has a battery duration of approximately 4 days, needless of
charging it in between! However, beware that this duration will depend on
how much you use your device. The more the FINDER is in motion and thus
sending data to the portal, the greater the battery usage.
Before using the FINDER for the first time you must charge it. Connect the magnetic
part of the charging cable to the FINDER's magnetic contact. Connect the USB
connector to the wall-plug adapter and plug it into a power socket. If the FINDER is
connected to the power source, it will switch on automatically. Please charge the
FINDER until the red LED is fixed.

Once your device has been activated successfully and fully charged, you are ready to
turn your device on and start using it!
Switch on:
In order to turn the device on, hold the on/off button down for 5 seconds until the
big green LEDs light up. When switching on, all three large LEDs (red, green, blue)
light up briefly. (If the FINDER is connected to the power source, it will switch on
automatically)
NOTE!
The PET Finder 4G is designed for outdoor use. In order to get the best reception
results, we recommend that you use it outside buildings. If you do not see a
position displayed in your FINDER portal, we recommend that you move the
device outdoors if possible (e.g. during a walk or a short drive). This allows the
FINDER to connect to the best mobile network. A network connection is essential
for position data to be transmitted from the FINDER to the FINDER portal and
displayed.
