READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE
AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
· DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs
· Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
· Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination,
repair or adjustment.
· DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
· When using this appliance, allow adequate air space above and on all slides for air circulation. Do not
allow this appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels or other flammable materials
during use.
· Never operate the toaster without its proper accessories.
· DO NOT operate the appliance if the plug, the main cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
· When using extension cords, make sure the marked electrical rating is at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance.
· DO NOT place utensils, fingers, or other foreign objects inside the toaster while in use as this may result
in fire, electric shock, or injury.
· DO NOT use appliance for other than intended use.
· Always be sure to turn off and unplug the appliance prior to assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and storage.
· DO NOT let cord (or any extension cord) hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
· DO NOT attempt to dislodge food when the toaster is plugged in. Unplug and allow the appliance to cool
down completely before proceeding.
· The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries.
· Only plug your appliance into a power outlet of the correct voltage as marked on the appliance.
· Unplug when not in use, and before cleaning. Allow to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts.
· DO NOT use outdoors.
· Make sure the appliance is off first before unplugging from outlet.
· If the Carriage Lever is stuck while the toaster is on, immediately unplug the appliance and let it cool down
before emptying and cleaning. If the problem persists, discontinue use of the appliance.
· A shorter power cord is provided to reduce the risk of tripping and entanglement. Be cautious of the risks
when using a long extension cord. The extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

Before First Use
Getting Started
Toasting
1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers, and make sure no loose objects have
fallen inside the toaster.
2. Place the toaster on a clean and stable surface away from liquids or flammable objects.
3. In order to eliminate any manufacturing residues, turn on the toaster without bread and
set the Browning Dial to level 4. The appliance may give off some smoke which is perfectly n
ormal. Let the toaster cool down before toasting the first slice of bread.
·DO NOT leave the running appliance unattended.
·DO NOT place wet foods inside the toaster.
·DO NOT place food in the toaster that has been covered with butter, jelly, frosting or other
condiments as this may result in fire, smoke, or jamming of the appliance.
·DO NOT use the appliance for defrosting food other than bread and waffles.
·DO NOT use the toaster without the slide-out crumb tray in place.
·Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the toaster from
the mains power outlet first. Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating
elements when removing bread.
·Place the bread slices in the toasting slot.
·Turn the browning dial to the desired level. The higher the number, the more toasted your
bread will be.
·Press the push-down lever down until it locks into place to start the heating process, with the
“CANCEL” indicator on.
The push-down lever will not click into place if the toaster is not plugged in.
·Toasting ends when the toasted bread is automatically popped up, with the “CANCEL”
indicator off.
·Lift the lever for easy removal.
Bageling
·Place the bagel slices in the toasting slot with the insides facing the glass panel.
·Turn the browning dial to the desired level.
·Press the push-down lever down until it locks into place, with the “CANCEL” indicator on.
·Press the bagel button, and the “BAGEL” indicator lights up.
Defrosting
·Turn the browning dial to the desired level.
·Insert the frozen bread.
·Press the push-down lever down until it locks into place, with the “CANCEL” indicator on.
·Press the defrost button, and the “DEFROST” indicator lights up.
Tips
·The process can be stopped at any time by pressing the cancel button.
·If the toaster starts to smoke, press the cancel button to stop toasting immediately.
CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE

· Unplug this appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.
· Completely dry before reconnecting to a power source,
and before storage.
·Clean your toaster and accessories after each use.
·Always unplug the toaster and let it cool down before cleaning.
·DO NOT immerse cord, plug, or housing in water or other liquid.
·Completely dry before reconnecting to a power source, and before storage.
Clean the outer body with a soft, damp cloth.
Damp Cloth Only
·Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wash.
·DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes, or chemical cleaners, as
they will damage the toaster.
Hand Wash
Remove the slide-out crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster by
sliding it out from the side and empty it.
Slide-Out Crumb Tray
Make sure the slide-out crumb tray is empty. Turn the toaster upside down and slide
the inner glass panel latch from “LOCK” to “OPEN” to pull out the glass panel.
