Introduction
Please make sure that you familiarise yourself fully with the
way the sandblasting gun works before you use it for the first
time and that you understand how to handle compressed
air sand blasting guns correctly. To help you do this, please read the
accompanying operating instructions. Keep these instructions in a safe
place. If you pass the sandblasting gun on to anyone else, please ensure
that you also pass on all the documentation. Keep these instructions in

Proper use
This device is intended for the removal of rust and paint from metal
surfaces. Any other use or modification to the device shall be considered
as improper use and could give rise to considerable risk of accident.
We will not accept liability for loss or damage arising from improper
use. The device is intended for private, domestic use only.


Safety advice
 Check the device for damage before bringing it into
use. Do not use the device if you discover any defects.
 Keep children and other people away while
you are operating the sandblasting gun. Dis-
tractions can cause you to lose control of the device.
 RISK OF INJURY! IMPROPER USE! Never point
the device at people or animals.
 For your own safety, wear suitable personal
protective equipment.
 Wear an approved dust mask/
protective hood!
 Wear protective glasses!
 RISK OF EXPLOSION! Do not use the sandblasting
gun 1in environments containing gases, open flames,
fires or gas-operated water heaters.
 NO SMOKING!
 Work in adequately ventilated spaces only.
 Never use oxygen or other combustible gas as the
energy source.

Never exceed the maximum working air pressure of 8bar.
 WARNING! RECOIL FORCES! High working pressures can
give rise to recoil forces that under certain conditions can result in
danger from continuous loading.
 DANGER OF INJURY! Disconnect the device from the compressed
air source before carrying out any repairs or maintenance of the
device or moving it to another location.

 DANGER OF INJURY! Disconnect the device from the compressed
air source before filling it with blast medium.
 NOTE! Please observe the safety advice provided by the manu-
facturer of the blast medium.
 Use only materials for the blast medium that are suit-
able for the sandblasting gun. Do not use quartz sand.
There is the danger of toxic silicon dust forming.
 Take precautions to ensure that other people are not
contaminated (dust generation).
 Ensure that the spent blast medium is trapped and
collected so that it can be disposed of in an environ-
mentally compatible manner.
 Do not remove rating plates or labels - they are safety-relevant
parts of the device.
 If you are inexperienced in the use of this type of device, you should
seek out information or training to learn how to handle it safely.

Operation

Connecting the compressed air source
NOTE: Operate the sandblasting gun 1only with cleaned, conden-
sate- and oil-free compressed air and never exceed the maximum
working air pressure at the device of 8bar.
NOTE: The compressed air source must be fitted with a (filter)/pres-
sure reducer so that the air pressure can be regulated.
 Connect the sandblasting gun to a suitable compressed air source
by connecting the quick-release coupling of the air supply hose with
the plug-in nipple 3to the sandblasting gun 1. It locks itself in
place automatically.

Filling the blast medium container
 Always use a suitable blast medium for your sand blasting work.
NOTE: We recommend using a silica-free blast medium
(e.g. ground blast furnace slag) with a grading of 0.2mm–0.8mm.
 Ensure that the blast medium is completely dry and not too coarse.
NOTE: The maximum particle size is 0.8mm.
 Turn the bayonet cap of the blast medium container 4to open it.
 Pull the blast medium container 4off downwards.
 Fill the blast medium container 4with the desired amount of
blast medium.
 Ensure that the maximum capacity of the container (1000ml) is
not exceeded.
 Screw the blast medium container 4back on and lock it in place
by inserting and turning it on to the container lid (see Figs. A).

Using the sandblasting gun
(see Figs. B, C)
 Carefully prepare the workpiece before sand blasting it.
Clean it if necessary.
NOTE: Deposits of dust and grease can have a considerably
detrimental effect on the result.
 Carefully mask or tape off everything that is not to be sand blasted.
 Ensure that there is always a minimum distance of 20cm between
the sandblasting gun 1and the surface being sand blasted.
Switching on:
 Press the trigger 2to start operating the sandblasting gun 1.

Switching off:
 Release the trigger 2to stop operating the sandblasting gun 1.
 After you finish work, disconnect the device from the compressed
air source.
NOTE: First disconnect the hose from the compressed
air source and only then disconnect the compressed
air supply hose from the device. This will ensure that the
compressed air supply hose does not wave around in an uncon-
trolled manner.

Cleaning
 WARNING! DANGER OF INJURY! Always disconnect
the device from the compressed air source before you clean or
maintain it.
 Clean the sandblasting gun 1and blast medium container 4
after you finish working. Blow out the sandblasting gun 1and
the blast medium container 4with compressed air.
 Store the sandblasting gun 1in a dry, enclosed room.

Service
 WARNING! Have your sandblasting gun repaired
only by qualified specialist personnel using original
manufacturer parts only. This will ensure that your sandblast-
ing gun remains safe to use.

Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the
date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured
with care and meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the
event of a warranty claim, please make contact by tele-
phone with our Service Department. Only in this way
can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and maufacturing defects,
but not for transport damage, for wearing parts or for damage to frag-
ile
compo nents, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for private use
only and is not intended for commercial use.
The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling,
use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized
service branch. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by
this warranty.
The warranty period will not be extended by repairs made unter war-
ranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts. Any damage
and defects extant on purchase must be reported immediately after un-
packing the appliance, at the latest, two days after the purchase date.
Repairs made after the expiration of the warranty period are subject to
payment.

Johdanto
Tutustu ennen ensimmäistä käyttöönottoa paineilma-hiekka-
puhalluspistoolin kaikkiin toimintoihin ja ota selvää, miten
paineilma-hiekkapuhalluspistoolia käsitellään oikealla tavalla.
Lue tätä varten seuraava käyttöohje tarkkaavaisesti läpi. Säilytä tämä
käyttöohje huolellisesti. Anna kaikki ohjeet mukaan seuraavalle käyttä-
jälle, jos luovutat paineilma-hiekkapuhalluspistoolin edelleen. Säilytä
