Intended purpose
The cordless vacuum cleaner is
only suitable for vacuuming dry
and wet surfaces. You can va-
cuum dry and wet material and
small volumes of liquid. The
suction of ammable, explosive
or hazardous substances is
prohibited.
The device may be used by
children aged 8 and older un-
der supervision.
The device is intended to be
used by do-it-yourselfers. It was
not designed for commercial
use. The warranty is void in the
case of commercial use.
The manufacturer is not liable
for damage caused by impro-
per use or incorrect operation.

individuals with reduced
physical, sensory or men-
tal abilities or a lack of
experience and knowled-

the safe use of the device

sulting hazards. Children
must never play with the
device. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be
carried out by children if
they are not supervised.

This is how to avoid acci-

vice unattended at the
workplace when it is
ready for use.

larly not eyes or ears.

• Do not vacuum hot,
glowing, ammable,
explosive or hazardous

lis amongst others. Risk

• Check the device and
accessories regularly
for damage.

This is how to avoid ac-
cidents and injuries from
an electric shock:
• Switch the device off
- When you are not
using the device or
when you are trans-
porting or leaving it
unattended;
- When you inspect
the device, clean it
or remove blocka-
ges;
- When you perform
cleaning or main-
tenance work, or
swap accessories;
- After contact with
foreign objects or if
abnormal vibration
occurs.
• Do not submerge the
device in water and
do not operate it in a
damp environment.
• Do not submerge the
device in water!
• Do not touch the de-
vice with wet or damp
hands!
This is how to avoid da-
mage to the equipment
and possible personal in-
juries resulting from this:
• Make sure before use
that the device is pro-
perly assembled and
that the lters are in
the correct position.
• Do not operate the de-
vice without lters. The
device could become
damaged.
• Only use original spare
parts and accessories
(see “Spare parts/ac-
cessories”) which are
supplied and recom-
mended by our service
centre. Using externally
produced parts results
in the immediate loss of
the warranty claim.
• Only have repairs per-
formed by customer
service centres authori-
zed by us.
• Comply with the de-
vice’s cleaning
and
maintenance instruc-
tions.
• Store the device in a
dry place and out of
reach of children.

sories that are not re-
commended by PARK-
SIDE. This can result in

Correct handling of
the charger device
a) This device can be
used by children aged
8 years and up as
well as individuals
with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abi-
lities or a lack of expe-
rience and knowledge

the appliance and
understand the resul-
ting hazards. Children
must never play with
the device. Cleaning

b) Do not charge any
non-rechargeable bat-
teries with the charger.
c) Before each use,
check the charger,
cable and plug,
and have repairs
carried out by
qualied person-
nel using only
original spare
parts. Do not use
the charger if de-
fective and do not
open it yourself.
This ensures the safety
of the device is main-
tained.
d) Make sure that
the mains voltage
matches the de-
tails on the char-
ger’s type plate.

e) Disconnect the
charger from the
mains supply be-
fore closing or
opening connec-
tions to the electric
tool. This ensures the
rechargeable battery
and charger are not
damaged.

clean and away

cable of this de-
vice is damaged,
it must be repla-
ced by the manu-
facturer or their
customer service
or by a similarly
qualied person in
order to avoid ha-
zards.
Charging process
Do not expose the
battery to extreme
conditions such as
heat and shocks.
There is a risk of
injury caused by
leaking electrolyte
solution! In case of
contact with eyes or
skin, rinse the affec-
ted sites with water
or a neutralising
agent and seek me-
dical attention.
The battery must
only be charged up
in dry areas.
There is a risk of
personal injuries
rain. Never use
the charger out-
doors. Soiling and
penetration of water
increase the risk of
electric shock.
g) The charger may
only be used with
the corresponding
original rechar-
geable batteries.
Charging other bat-
teries can lead to
injuries and the risk of
re.
h) Avoid mechanical
damage to the
charger. This can
lead to internal short
circuits.
i) The charger must
not be operated
on ammable sur-
faces (e.g. paper,
textiles). Risk of re
due to heating caused
by charging.
j) In order to minimi-
se the risk of elec-
tric shock, pull the
charger plug out
of the socket prior
to cleaning it.

• To charge the Li-ion battery
integrated in the appliance,
use only the XZ0900-
2400ENCNC charger

latest safety instructions,
as well as the regulations
and information relating to
environmental protection.
• Defects resulting from im-
proper handling are not
covered by the warranty.
Charging the
battery
1. Connect the charging
cable connector (9) to the
charging socket (7) on the
device.
2. Plug the charger ( 8)
into a socket.
3. The battery indicator (6)
lights up:
Flashing red - battery
almost empty,
charging
Flashing orange (red illu-
minated) - battery
2/3 empty, char-
ging
Flashing green (red/oran-
ge illuminated)
- battery 1/3
empty, charging
Red/orange/green illuminated
-battery is fully
charged
4. Once charging is complete,
disconnect the charger
( 8) from the mains sup-
ply.
Initial start-up
Before each use, ensure the
lter (12) and lter holder (11)
are sitting correctly in the col-
lection container (1).
Also inspect the device visually
for damage.
Do not operate the
device if damaged or
incorrectly assembled!

ries”.
1. Remove the collection
container (1) by pressing
the release button (3) and
detaching the collection
container (1).
2. Check that the lter holder
(11) is sitting securely
against the mechanical stop
in the collection container
(1) by lightly pressing the
lter holder (11). Due to its
shape, the lter holder (11)
can only be inserted into
the collection container (1)
in one position.
3. Check whether the lter
(12) is sitting securely in
the lter holder (11). Lightly
press the lter into the lter
holder (11).
4. Re-attach the collection con-
tainer (1) onto the device.
Place it on the underside
of the device and allow it
to latch into the interlock
release on the top side of
the device. Note the catch
on the bottom of the device
and the collection container
(1).
Operation
Crevice nozzle
The crevice nozzle (10) is suita-
ble for dry vacuuming crevices,
corners and radiators.
Wet vacuuming
• For wet vacuuming, remove
the lamella ne lter (12).
• When vacuuming liquids,
pay attention to the “MAX”
marking on the collection
container (1). The maximum
volume for liquids is 25ml.
Working instructions
• Ensure that the collection
container (1), lter holder
(11) and lter (12) are dry
when changing directly
from wet to dry vacuuming!
Switching on/off
Before switching on,
ensure that the lter (12)
and lter holder (11)
are ready for us. See
“Initial start-up”.

Attach the crevice nozz-
le (10) as needed.
To switch on or off, briey
press the On/Off switch (4)
once.
Emptying the
collection container
Empty the collection container
(1) after every use.
Empty the collection container
if suction performance is
decreasing.
If the collection container is full
of dust or the lter becomes
wet from wet vacuuming, the
cordless hand-held vacuum cle-
aner may become damaged!
Emptying the collec-
tion container after
wet vacuuming:
Hold the collection
container with the
tip pointing down-
wards when remo-
ving it to prevent
liquid getting into
the device!
1. Remove the collection con-
tainer (1) carefully by pres-
sing the release button (3)
and removing the collection
container (1).
2. Carefully remove the lter
(12) and lter holder (11)
from the collection cont-
ainer (1).
3. Empty the collection cont-
ainer (1).
4. Clean the collection con-
tainer (1) with a damp
cloth if required. If required,
clean the lter (12) as in-
dicated in the “Cleaning”
section.
5. Place the lter holder (11)
and lter (12) back into
the collection container (1).
Due to its shape, the lter
holder (11) can only be
inserted into the collection
container (1) in one positi-
on.
6. Re-attach the collection con-
tainer (1) onto the device.

Cleaning
Always remove the
rechargeable bat-
tery before carrying
out work on the de-
vice.
Risk of injury!
Never spray down
the device with
water or place it
in water! Do not
use any abrasive
cleaning agents or
solvents. The device
could become da-
maged.
• Clean the housing with a
dry cloth or paint brush.
• Tap the lter (12) and clean
it with a brush or compres-
sed air.
If the lter is contaminated
and cannot be cleaned,
replace it!
See “Spare parts/Accesso-
ries”.
• Wash the foam lter ( 13)
with lukewarm water and
soap and let it dry.
• Empty the collection cont-
ainer (1) after every use.
Clean the collection cont-
ainer (1) with a damp cloth.
• Always keep the ventilation
slit on the device housing
unobstructed otherwise the
device will overheat.
Maintenance
Replacing the lter
If contaminated, replace the lter
with a new one.
New lters can be acquired from
the online shop. See “Replace-
ment parts/Accessories”.
1. Remove the collection
container (1) by pressing
the release button (3) and
detachingn the collection
container (1).
2. Remove the lter (12) from
the lter holder (11).
3. Place the new lter into the
lter holder. Ensure the lter
is positioned correctly and
securely.
4. Re-attach the collection
container (1) onto the de-
vice by placing it on the
underside of the device and
allowing it to latch into the

interlock release on the top
side of the device.
Storage
• Store the device in a dry
and dustproof location and
out of reach of children.
• Only store the batteries in
the partially-charged state.
The charge status should
amount to 40-60% during a
lengthy storage period (1-2
LEDs are on).
• Store the device between
10°C and 25°C. Avoid
extreme cold or heat during
storage, so that the batte-
ries do not lose power.
• Check the battery charge
status approximately every
3 months during a lengthy
storage period and rechar-
ge if necessary.
Disposal/
environmental
protection
The device, accessories and
packaging should be properly
recycled.
Machines do not belong
with domestic waste.
Li-ion
Do not dispose of
the device with
a built-in battery
in the household
waste, a re (risk of
explosion) or water.
Damaged batteries
can harm the en-
vironment and your
health if poisonous
fumes or liquids
escape.
• Dispose of the device with
the battery discharged. Do
not open the device or bat-
tery.
• Dispose of the device in
accordance with the local
regulations. Return the
device to a collection point
from where it can be sub-
mitted for environmentally
