Slå på MK1 med on/off. brytaren.

Nu kan du välja märktyp med hjälp av de gula piltangenterna (upp och ner)
Vi väljer exempelvis 1 PA+ PAZ+ genom att trycka på Enter när det valet är synligt i
displayen.
Nu är det dags att välja vilken typ av PA märkning vi vill skriva på
Vi bläddrar ner med piltangenterna (upp och ner) och väljer 4 PA/Z+1 Strip
och bekräftar med Enter
Nu är det dags att välja längd på hylsan
Vi väljer exempelvis 21 mm långa märken. 4x9 betyder att det får plats 4st strips med
9st 21 mm märken på varje. Vi bekräftar med Enter
Maskinen startas sedan med START CHECK eller Enter
tangenten
Plotterarmen ställer sig nu i startläge

Nu ska vi välja hur vi vill att utskriften ska vara. Vi väljer exempelvis 1Single
1 Single Plottern skriver ett märke och stannar sedan och väntar på
att du ska skriva in nästa hylsas information
2 Repeat Innan utskriften får du en fråga hur många märken du ska ha
av just denna hylsinformation
3 Sequence Här kan du skriva ut en nummersekvens
Nu är det bara att skriva in sin märktext. Åttan inom parentesen visar hur många
tecken det får plats på märket. Titta i användarmanualen om du vill ändra och få in
fler tecken per hylsa.
Tryck på Enter för att komma vidare
Se till att det finns en fixtur monterad i plottern. Montera en penna i plotterarmen.
Tryck på Enter och utskriften börjar.

Notera:
Det rekommenderas att innan isättning eller vid byte av penna, se till att
plotterarmen står i utgångsläget, om armen skulle hamna ur sitt läge vid
montering av pennan, återställs den automatiskt till sitt utgångsläge efter en
omstart.
Notera:
Lägg alltid tillbaka pennan i förvaringsstället direkt efter användandet. När
etsande bläck används kan pennan torka ut, och måste rengöras. Läs
instruktionen för pennan.
Ifall pennan inte fungerar direkt efter att du tagit den ur förvaringsstället så kan
du genom att försiktigt skaka pennan eller snäppa lite försiktigt på
bläckbehållaren få igång den igen. Pennstartaren som går att köpa till som
tillbehör hjälper till att få pennan skrivklar direkt.

sätta MK1:an i ”PLOT MODE”. Nu är plottern redo för
att ta emot information från datorn.

Tryck på FUNCT 2, FUNCT 3 och Csamtidigt för att få
fram kalibreringsläget.
Justera Xoch Yvärdet på armen genom att använda
dig av piltangenterna när du är i kalibreringsläget.
Tryck på START CHECK när du vill spara ditt nya
startvärde.
Ett kit finnas att köpa som innehåller en
kalibreringsplatta samt instruktioner.

PENNOR:
När pennorna har försetts med en bläckpatron är det viktigt att man sätter
tillbaka pennan i sin kork för att spetsen inte ska torka. Det etsande bläcket
torkar snabbt och 30 sekunder kan vara tillräckligt för att spetsen ska börja
torka.
Torka gärna av bläcket på pennspetsen innan du sätter tillbaka den i korken. Blir
det för mycket bläck på gummit i korken så blir gummit stelt och sluter inte tätt
och spetsen börjar torka.
För att förlänga hållbarheten på pennan ytterligare så bör man rengöra pennan
när man vet att den inte ska användas på ett par dagar.
Rengöring
Steg 1
Ersätt bläckpatronen med en
rengöringspatron. Stoppa pennspetsen
i rengöringsburken och tryck halva
patronens innehåll genom pennan.
Steg 2
Låt den sedan sitta kvar i burken och
låt resterande rengöringsvätskan rinna
igenom av sig själv. Om det finns
någon vätska kvar i patronen efter 1-2
timmar kan du trycka det kvarvarande
innehållet genom pennan.
Steg 3
Ta bort rengöringspatronen och skaka
ut den sista vätskan ur pennan på ett
papper eller dylikt. Torka av pennan
noga och skaka den sedan vid ditt öra
för att kontrollera att kulan inuti
pennan fortfarande är rörlig.
Steg 4
Avlägsna den gamla korken och ersätt
den med den nya som följde med
rengöringspatronen. Sätt tillbaka
pennan i sin nya kork och rengöringen
är klar.

QUICK START:
Turn on the plotter by using the on/off switch.
Activating
START
CHECKENTER
You can now choose type of marking by using the yellow arrow buttons (Up and
down)
We chose the 1 PA+ PAZ+ by pressing Enter when that selection is visible in the
display.
Now we can choose what type of PA marking we want to print on.
We use the yellow arrow buttons (up and down) and choose 4 PA/Z+1 Strip. We
confirm the choice by pressing Enter
Now it’s time to choose the length on the sleeve.
We choose 21 mm long markers. 4x9 means that on the fixture you can use 4 strips
with 9 21mm markers on each strip. We confirm with Enter.
Press on the START CHECK or the Enter button to start the
plotter
The plotter arm moves now to the start position.

Now we should decide how we want the print out to be. We choose the 1Single
option
1 Single The plotter prints one marker and the stops. It then waits for
you to type in the information on the next marker.
2 Repeat Before the print out you get a question how many markers
you want of each.
3 Sequence With this you can print out a number sequence.
Now you can type in the information you want on the marker sleeve. The eight after
Text shows you how many characters you can type in on this sleeve. Look in the
user manual if you want to be able to type in more characters on each sleeve.
Press Enter to go to the next step.
Make sure that you have a fixture with markers in the plotter. Mount a pen in the
plotter arm and press Enter to start the print out.

Note:
It is recommended that before you mount or change the pen that the plotter arm
is in its start position. Restart the plotter if you have moved the arm when you
mounted the pen.
Note:
Make sure that you always put the pen back in its storage place when you are
not using the pen. When etching ink is used the tip of the pen can dry out and
has to be cleaned. Read the instructions for the pen.
In case the pen doesn’t work after that you have removed it from its storage
place. Then you can very carefully shake the pen or tap on the ink cartridge to
get it started again. A pressure ball is available as an option that makes it easier
to get the plotter pen started

To put the MK1 in ”PLOT MODE” press down FUNCT 3
and START CHECK at the same time. Now the plotter
is ready to receive information from your PC.
You need a special computer cable and the software
Winsign.
Calibrate the plotter

Press on FUNCT 2, FUNCT 3 and Cat the same time to
put the plotter in calibration mode.
In calibration mode you can adjust the Xand Yvalue on
the arm by using the yellow arrow buttons.
Press on START CHECK when you’re done to save your
new start position on the plotter arm.
A kit is available that contains a calibration plate and
instructions how to do it.

PLOTTER PEN:
When the pen has been loaded with an ink cartridge it’s very important that you
put the pen back into its hat before the tip of the pen dries. Etching ink dries fast
and 30 seconds can be enough for the tip of the pen to start drying
Dry of the ink of the pen tip before you put it back into the pen hat. The pen hat
has a rubber sealing that gets very hard if it is too much ink on it. When this
happens it doesn’t seal of the air from the pen tip and the tip starts to dry.
To make the pen to last longer you should clean it when you know that you
shouldn’t use it for awhile.
Cleaning procedure
Step 1
Replace the ink cartridge with a
cleaning cartridge. Put the tip of the
pen in the cleaning pot and press out
half of the fluid in the cleaning
cartridge trough the pen.
Step 2
Leave the pen in the cleaning pot so
that the remaining fluid can clean the
pen. Press the remaining fluid through
the pen if there is any fluid left in the
cartridge after 1-2 hours.
Step 3
Remove the cleaning cartridge from
the pen and shake out the last fluid in
the pen on a piece of paper towel or
something similar. Dry the pen very
carefully and shake it by your ear so
that you can listen if the little ball still
is moving inside the pen.
Step 4
Remove the old pen hat and replace it
with a new one that came with the
cleaning cartridge. Put the pen back in
the hat and the cleaning procedure is
done.
