Required Tool: Phillips driver, 14mm and 17mm
wrench and/or socket
Parts List:
(2) Aluminum Uprights
(2) Aluminum Bench Supports
Aluminum, Cedar or Poly bench covering
Hardware:
(8) M10 x 100mm Bolts (14mm head)
(4) M10 x 70mm Bolts (17mm head)
(12) M10 Nuts, at washers and split washers
(12) #6 x 1-1/2” phillips head screws
(Cedar and Poly only)
Step 1:
Start by aaching the aluminum uprights to the Patriot Dock
frame, a direct mount on the 4’ dimension of the frame (Fig. 1).
Use the M10 x70mm bolts, along with a at washer under the
head and a split washer under the nut, to aach the uprights to
the aluminum frame. The bolt passes through the upright, 4’
truss and vercal angle of the 8’truss (Fig. 2).
If installing the bench on a dock frame other than Patriot’s
frame, it may be easier to install the bench as an assembled
unit to ensure correct spacing of uprights.

Step 2:
Aach cedar or poly boards to the Aluminum Bench Supports using six 1-1/2” long phillips head screws. Maintain a
half inch space between cedar boards and 1 1-1/2” space from the end of the boards as pictured below (Fig. 3).
When aaching poly boards, align the holes in the Aluminum Bench Supports with the pre-drilled holes in the poly
board. Secure using six 1-1/2” long phillips head screws. (Fig. 4) and (Fig. 5)
Step 3:
Aer decking has been aached to the Aluminum Bench Supports using phillips head screws, the Aluminum
Bench Supports can be set in place and aached to the Aluminum Uprights using the M10 x 100mm bolts, nuts
and washers. See (Fig. 6).
Step 4:
Aluminum Dock-Top bench only: Install plasc
End Caps into the ends of the aluminum deck
boards. Gently tap End Caps into place using a
mallet
