MAINTENANCE
The dryer is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed.
Unplug the dryer from the power source prior to any maintenance.
Keep all vents and openings clear of dirt and dust. The exterior of
the dryer should be wiped clean with a damp cloth only. The air lter
cover, at the rear of the dryer, should be removed and the area cleaned
of any hair or dust. There is an air lter underneath the air lter cover
that should also be washed and cleaned every couple of weeks so hair
doesn’t catch in the fan. To keep the dryer clean, unplug the dryer from
the power source, remove the mesh lter, and wash the mesh lter with
soap and water every 30 days.
OVERHEATING
If overheating occurs, an automatic safety device will trip off and the
cool air will come out of the dryer for a period of time. Then the hot
air will come out again after the automatic safety device resets itself.
If this occurs, unplug the cord and allow the dryer to cool for 10 to 15
minutes. Make sure the air vents and removable mesh lter are fully
cleaned before starting again. For easy cleaning, simply twist the lter
cap open to remove the mesh lter, and wash with soap and warm
water. Let the mesh lter dry completely before inserting it back into
position, then twist the lter cap to the lock position.
