These instructions are for your safety. Please read through them thoroughly before use and retain for future
reference.
THIS IS NOT ATOY. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
Before You Start:
•Decide on an appropriate location for your product (see Placement Instructions below).
Parts Included:
TEN STAR. Each star (1) One non-replaceable LED Light Bulbs (permanently positioned in balls).
Battery Box for (2) Two AA batteries (1.5V, type LR6 not included)
Placement Instructions:
1) This silver star is suitable for INDOOR use only.
2) Do not position or place near heaters or any other direct sources of heat.
3) Always position wire leads so as not to cause a tripping hazard to the elderly, pets and children.
4) DO NOT position this metal star where it may become covered by other items e.g. curtains, nets or bedding.
Pre-Assembly:
•Note: This mercury ball comes fully assembled.
•Remove all parts and hardware from box along with any plastic protective packaging, taking care not to damage or
twist the wires while unpacking.
•Check the product before use for loose or damaged wiring and that all the bulbs are secure.
•Do not discard any contents until after set-up is complete to avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware.
Battery Installation:
•To open the cover of Battery Box, release the buckles and turn right. Remove previously installed (old) batteries and if
needed, clean the new battery terminals and also the Battery Box contacts prior to battery installation.
•Install (2) two new AA batteries (1.5V, type LR6, not included), taking care to match the battery direction to the
polarity markings displayed inside the battery compartment (+ and -). High quality alkaline batteries are recommended
for maximum battery life.
•Close battery cover and secure the cover in place.
•Remove all batteries if product is to be stored or not used for an extended period of time.
•Remove used batteries promptly.
•Always replace batteries as a simultaneous set.
•Do Not Mix Old And New Batteries. Do Not Mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon - Zinc), Rechargeable Nickel -
Cadmium or Rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries
•CAUTION: To avoid explosion or leakage, do not dispose of batteries in a fire or attempt to recharge standard or
alkaline batteries. Please dispose of batteries safety according to the battery manufacturer’s instructions or recycle
battery per state and local codes. If battery leakage occurs and comes in contact with the skin or eyes, wash
immediately with plenty of water. Batteries should be handled under adult supervision. If the device is not to be used
for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.

If the lights fail to light-up properly, please check the following:
•Open the Battery Box, check the expiration date on the installed batteries.
•Check that the batteries are all correctly positioned within the battery compartment.
•If needed, replace with new batteries as a simultaneous set.
•Check if the battery terminals and Battery Box contacts are clean.
•This product uses long-lasting, non-replaceable LED bulbs.
Use and Care Instructions:
Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully.
Discard any parts that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholder or enclosures,
loose connects or exposed copper wire.
When storing the product, carefully remove the product from its location, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the
product conductors, connections, and wires.
When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the finish.
