Peavey MediaMatrix X-Frame 88 User manual

Description
The X-Frame™88 is a fully program-
mable, fully configurable, Digital
Signal Processor (DSP) base au io
processing an control system. It
inclu es a core Digital Processing
Unit (DPU), referre to as a Soun
Engine; a Graphical User Interface
(GUI); interface options; an control
options.
The Soun Engine is a 24-bit parallel
DPU an is fully configurable to allow
the system esigner unlimite versa-
tility in system esign. Preset signal
flow or "stan ar " setups o not limit
the X-Frame88. Thus, the X-Frame88
is superior to similar DSP pro ucts
that have factory configurations. The
intuitive software interface provi es
incre ibly rich functionality for both
signal flow configuration an user
control.
The X-Frame 88’s host-processor an
non-volatile flash memory maintain
the configuration an provi e inter-
face to the units front panel control
an optional external control inter-
faces.
The X-Frame 88's programmable
capability is enhance by a full com-
plement of au io evices available
from the Win32-base Graphical User
Interface (GUI). Almost any style of
au io system can be esigne an
implemente using a " rag, rop, an
wire" interface. The signal flow can be
as simple as two channels of lou -
speaker processing or as complex as
a multi-zone paging system with multi-
ple levels of priority, ucking, fire
alarm overri e, scene-snapshot con-
trol an automatic level ramping.
Au io processing evices available
inclu e, but are not limite to: auto-
matic mixers, crossovers, AGC, gates,
limiters, expan ers, uckers, ambient
sensing controllers, elay lines,
meters, mixers, routers, test signal
sources an equalizers of every vari-
ety. In a ition, you can create your
own evices for custom applications.
These evices, once create , can
then become a part of your evice
palate for repeate use.
