The Peavey Architectural Acoustics
X-Frame 88 shall provi e eight bal-
ance analog line inputs an eight
balance analog line outputs. It shall
employ 24-bit A/D converters an 24-
bit D/A converters utilizing software
selectable sampling rates of either 32
kHz, 44.1 kHz, or 48 kHz.
It shall have a frequency response
of ± 0.5 B or better from 20 Hz to 20
kHz. Its total harmonic istortion shall
be no more than 0.01% from 20 Hz to
20 kHz with a +4 Bu input signal an
a +4 Bu output signal, both with 20
B of hea room. It shall have a
ynamic range of not less than 106
B A-weighte /104 B unweighte .
Input common mo e rejection ratio
(CMRR) shall be greater than 42 B
at any gain setting. The maximum
input level without clipping shall be
+30 Bu while maintaining the speci-
fie CMRR. The maximum output
level shall be +24 Bu with a loa of
600 Ω or greater while still meeting
the frequency response specification.
The unit's gain shall be a justable
from -97.5 B to +30.5 B in 0.5 B
steps. The balance input impe ance
shall be 9.3 kΩ or higher. The bal-
ance output impe ance shall be
102.2 ohms an esigne to rive
600 ohm loa s or greater while main-
taining the specifie frequency
response.
Front-panel LED an LCD in ica-
tors shall isplay the following status
con itions: active pre-sets, software
version, view file name, ata wheel
function, control function value an
range, internal cabinet temperature,
fault in ication, link in ication, an
power presence. It shall have eight
peak-rea ing hea room LED meters
to monitor the analog level present at
the output of the A/D converters, with
the top-most re LED in icating 1 B
below A/D clipping. It shall have eight
peak-rea ing hea room LED meters
to monitor the analog level present at
the input of the D/A converters, with
the top-most re LED in icating 1 B
below D/A clipping
Rear panel features shall inclu e a
etachable AC power cor , an AC
power switch, an AC power recepta-
cle, an a panel fuse hol er. It shall
employ etachable, Euro-style, bare-
wire capturing, screw-terminal con-
nectors for ease of hook-up an trou-
ble-shooting. These connectors shall
be use for all line-level, control volt-
age input, fault annunciation, an RS-
485 connections. The unit shall use
two stan ar eight-con uctor RJ-45
I/O jacks for connection to the option-
al MM-8802 Break-out-Boxes (BoB).
Its imensions shall be 19 inches
(48.26 cm) wi e, 13.25 inches (33.66
cm) eep, an 1 3/4 inches (4.45 cm)
high without feet or connectors
installe . Its net weight shall be 12.0
poun s (5.43 kg); an its 1 rack-unit
(1 3/4"), steel chassis shall be finishe
in gray pow er coat.
It shall operate with a line voltage
between 100 an 270 Volts rms an
at a line frequency between 47 an 63
Hertz. It shall consume no more than
33 Watts of power an raw no more
than 550 milli-amps rms of continuous
current (120 Volts rms AC line).
Maximum inrush current at turn-on
shall be no more than 32 Amps peak
with an AC line input of 120 Volts rms.
It shall be UL, CUL, CE liste an
comply with FCC part 15, Class A.
The unit shall be the Peavey
Architectural Acoustics mo el
X-Frame 88.
