Prerequisites

ATG Inventory Manager
Required Information
• Name of asset (ex: C-Store #20)
• Detailed information about the asset (year, model, tank volumes, probe s/n w/compartment
installed into, etc.)
• State, area, organization, or group the asset belongs to (ex: North Region, MN tankers, etc.)
• Gateway ID of each device to be installed (Gateway ID is found on the front of each unit with a
barcode)
• ATG model
• Number of Tanks

Drill and assorted drill bits (to secure device)
SMALL slotted screwdriver (for attaching serial cable)
ATG LMU Gateway Power Supply

Installation Steps, Continued
Installation
ATG Inventory Manager
STEP ONE
The ATG LMU Gateway should be mounted with
screws to the desired location near the ATG and
power. The box has holes for fastening to a wall or
other secure structure.
STEP TWO
Connect the female 9 pin port from the ATG cable to
the male 9 pin port from the serial adapter. Tighten
with Phillips screwdriver - do not over-tighten.

STEP THREE
Insert the 5 pin plug of the serial adapter into the
Aux 2 port on the ATG LMU Gateway.

Insert the power cable to the port labled power on
the ATG LMU gateway.

Standard COMM Port Settings:
• Baud Rate: 9600
• Data Bits: 8
• Stop Bits: 1
• Parity: NONE
• RS-232 Security: Disabled
