Installation to Wood Stud Wall
Using a stud finder, locate and mark the edges of the wood stud used in mounting this product. Use of an edge to
edge stud finder is highly recommended. Use a level to draw a level, vertical line down the center of the stud. Mark a
point on the stud centerline 2.75" (70 mm) up from center of screen. Mark two points on the stud centerline, exactly
1.5" (38 mm) and 5" (127 mm) below the first point as shown in figure 1.1. For reference to mount, see figure 1.2.
Drill three 5/32" (4 mm) dia. holes 2.5" (65 mm) deep.
Note: The wall mount may need to be tilted for access to holes on mount as shown in figure 1.3.
Loosely fasten wall mount (A) to wall using three #14 x 2-1/2" wood screws (E) as shown in figure 1.3. Level, hold,
and tighten all screws.

Installation to Solid Concrete and Cinder Block

• When installing Peerless wall mounts on cinder block, verify that you have a minimum of 1-3/8" of actual concrete
thickness in the hole to be used for the concrete anchors. Do not drill into mortar joints! Be sure to mount in a solid
part of the block, generally 1" minimum from the side of the block. Cinder block must meetASTM C-90 specifica-
tions. It is suggested that a standard electric drill on slow setting is used to drill the hole instead of a hammer drill to
avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a void or cavity.
• Concrete must be 2000 psi density minimum. Lighter density concrete may not hold concrete anchor.
• Makesure thatthe supportingsurface willsafely supportthe combinedload ofthe equipmentand allattached hard-
wareandcomponents.
WARNING
Determine the placement of your screen, mark the center of screen on the wall, and place a point 2.25" (57 mm)
down from center of screen for bottom hole of mount as shown in figure 1.4. For reference to mount, see figure 1.5.
Note: The wall mount may need to be tilted for access to holes on mount as shown in figure 1.7.
Drill one 1/4" (6 mm) dia. hole to a minimum depth of 2.5" (64 mm). Insert anchor (C) in hole flush with wall. Loosely
screw wall mount (A) to wall using one #14 x 2-1/2" wood screw (E) as shown in figures 1.6 and 1.7. Level, then
mark the top two holes circled in figure 1.5.

Swing wall mount (A) out of the way and drill top two marked holes. Insert two anchors (C) in holes flush with wall as
shown in figure 1.8. Return mount to original position and loosely fasten wall mount (A) to wall using two #14 x 2-1/2"
wood screws (E) as shown in figure 1.9. Level, hold, and tighten all screws.

To prevent scratching the screen, set a cloth on a flat, level surface that will support the weight of the screen. Place screen
faceside down. Place and align adapter brackets (B)onback ofscreen to VESA hole pattern as shown in figure 2.1. For
additionalscreencompatibilitypleaserefertotheLCD interface list on our website:www.peerlessindustries.com.
Note: If mounting holes are not centered on back of screen, center brackets on back of screen as shown in figure 2.2.
Find the VESA®hole pattern below, and attach brackets to screen accordingly. Verify that all holes are properly
aligned, and then tighten screws using security allen wrench (D).
Note: "X"dimensions should beequal.

tightly secured, damage may occur to screen or product may fail. Contact customer care for correct hardware to use.

Mounting and Removing Flat Panel Screen
Hookadapter brackets(B) onto wallmount (A).Then
slowly swing screen in as shown in figure 3. Lock
adapter brackets with security screws, shown in detail 1,
usingwrench(D).
Toremove screen frommount,loosensecurityscrews,
swingscreenawayfrommount,andliftscreenoffof
mount.
• Do not lift more weight than you can handle. Use
additionalmanpower or mechanicalliftingequipment
to safely handle placement of the screen.
• Failure to lock brackets with security screws can
cause screen to come off mount if hit accidentally.
• Do not tighten screws with excessive force.
Overtighteningcancause damage tomount. Tighten
screws to 20 in. • lb (2.26 N.M.) maximum torque.
CAUTION
WARNING
For horizontal adjustment, loosen security screw,
slide screen to desired location, and then retighten
security screw. Center of screen can be positioned a
maximum of 2.6" from center of mount on either side
as shown in figure 4.

• Center of screen can be no more than 2.6" from the
center of the mount. If screen is beyond 2.6", it may
sag sideways and restrict tilt movement.
CAUTION

Adjust tension knob on right side of mount shown in
detail 2 to desired tension to balance your screen
size and weight.
Push or pull from top or bottom of screen to adjust
tilt as shown in figure 4.1. The tilt can be adjusted to
amaximum of15° forwardor 5°backward.
Note: To lock the screen into the desired tilt
position, tighten tension screw on left side of mount
shown in figure 4.2 and detail 3 using wrench (D).
