The interface module “QD” works in conjunction with the PM1048, designed to
communicate from the Alarm panel using Serial Data compatible with -
 EDM Bosch Solution 16 alarm panel.
 DAS: DL100, DL150, DL200, DL250, DL300, 100L, 150L, 208L, 250L, 300L.
 Reporting Serial Data from panel to PM1048 interface.
 Monitors and reports Serial Data failure.
 Monitors and reports status of the alarm panel Serial Data lead.
 Various LED status indicators for easy onsite diagnostics.

The IFM - QD module is designed to operate with the PM1048 and provides Serial
Data from the PM1048’s RX & TX terminals. The “QD” interface option MUST be
selected on activation otherwise this module will not operate.
 Remove jumpers from JP1 and insert the module.

NB: Must have a common –ve between the alarm panel and the PM1048
Bosch Panels: EDM Bosch Solution 16
 The alarm panel must be programmed for Securitel communication back to
base.
 The four digit account number must be programmed into the alarm panel.
DAS panels:
 The panel must be programmed to use Smart Bus Mode (check keypad
compatibility) to ensure detailed events are sent back to the central station.ie to
report user and partition information.
 Panels that are not programmed to use Smart Buss mode will report limited
events back to Base. i.e. general closing with no user ID.
 The four digit account number must be programmed into the alarm panel.
 Trigger an event on the alarm panel. Verify with the monitoring centre that a
tamper was received with the correct CID account number.
 INSTALLATION MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY SERVICE PERSONNEL ONLY
 Australian Standard AS2201 requires regular service by qualified and licensed
technicians and regular testing.
 This product may not perform as expected if not correctly installed.
