GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNG
Vielen Dank, dass du dich für die Petromax
Umluftkuppel entschieden hast! Mit deiner
neuen Umluftkuppel kannst du leckere
Gerichte zubereiten, indem du sie über einen
Atago oder den Feuertopf (ft9 oder kleiner)
stülpst, und somit die Hitze zum Garen
anstaust. Wir sind überzeugt, dass du viel
Freude an deiner neuen Petromax Umluftkup-
pel haben wirst und hoffen, dass mit ihr das
Kochen unter freiem Himmel noch abwechs-
lungsreicher wird.
WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Lies diese Anleitung sorgfältig durch! Damit
du lange Freude an deiner Umluftkuppel
hast, empfehlen wir dir, die nachfolgenden
Hinweise unbedingt zu beachten. Bitte
bewahre die Gebrauchsanleitung gut auf.
Sie sollte bei Verwendung der Petromax
Umluftkuppel jederzeit griffbereit sein.
PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Die Petromax Umluftkuppel kannst du als
Umluftofen oder Smoker nutzen. Weil sich
die Hitze unter der Kuppel staut und dort
zirkuliert, garst, backst oder smokst du mit
ihr besonders gleichmäßig und energiespa-
rend. Dank der beschichteten Innenseite und
der engmaschig gewebten Aramid-Fasern
entweicht kaum Hitze: Backen, Smoken und
Garen gelingt damit beim Draußenkochen wie
im heimischen Backofen.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Platziere die Umluftkuppel über einem
Petromax Atago oder den Petromax Feuer-
töpfen ft9 oder kleiner.
• Achtung! Die Umluftkuppel staut Hitze
an. Sie kann bei Verwendung extrem heiß
werden.
• Vorsicht! Beim Abnehmen der Kuppel von
Feuertopf, Atago und Co. kann Hitze schnell
entweichen.
• Schütze deine Hände und Unterarme mit
wärmeresistenten Handschuhen oder einem
Tuch, wenn du die Umluftkuppel anfasst. Wir
empfehlen die Petromax Aramid Pro 300
Handschuhe.
• Lass die Umluftkuppel während des
Gebrauchs niemals unbeaufsichtigt. Achte
auf Kinder und Tiere, wenn sie sich in der
Nähe der heißen Umluftkuppel aufhalten.
• Verwende die Umluftkuppel nur über Koch-
stellen im Freien und keinesfalls in geschlos-
senen Räumen. Es bestehen Brand- und
Erstickungsgefahr.
• Informiere dich über die jeweils geltenden
Brandschutzbestimmungen und halte sie
ein. Nimm beim Kochen in der Natur Rück-
sicht auf die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt sowie auf
Naturschutzgebiete.
• Halte ein geeignetes Löschmittel (Wasser,
Sand, Löschdecke, Feuerlöscher) für den
Notfall bereit.
• Lass die Umluftkuppel nach Gebrauch gut
auskühlen.
GEBRAUCH
Wir empfehlen dir die Umluftkuppel mit
unseren Produkten Petromax Atago und
den Petromax Feuertöpfen zu verwenden.
MIT ATAGO ALS BACKVORRICHTUNG/
UMLUFTOFEN
Platziere die Umluftkuppel über einem aus-
geklappten Petromax Atago. Setz die Umluft-
kuppel soweit auf, dass sie auf dem unteren
Zylinder aufliegt (siehe Abbildung 2). In Kom-
bination mit dem Atago ist sie perfekt zum
Abbildung 1:

Vorsicht! Zu hohe Temperaturen
bzw. direkter Kontakt von glühenden
Kohlen mit der Umluftkuppel können
die Beschichtung des Produkts
beschädigen. Brandgefahr!
HINWEISE ZU REINIGUNG, PFLEGE
UND LAGERUNG
• Die Umluftkuppel kann innen mit einem
feuchten Tuch abgewischt werden, um zum
Beispiel Ruß und Lebensmittelspritzer zu
entfernen.
• Lass die Umluftkuppel nach Gebrauch gut
auskühlen. Danach kann sie gesäubert und
platzsparend zusammengelegt aufbewahrt
werden.
• Die Umluftkuppel nicht in der Waschma-
schine waschen.
GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
Bei normalem Gebrauch erhältst du auf deine
Petromax Umluftkuppel eine Gewährleistung
von zwei Jahren ab Kaufdatum. Lässt sich deine
Petromax Umluftkuppel aufgrund von Schäden
am Material oder Herstellungsmängeln nicht
einwandfrei benutzen, hast du Anspruch auf
Nachbesserung. Setze dich dazu mit deinem
Händler in Verbindung.

Pizza backen oder zum Garen von Fisch, Fleisch
und Gemüse mit wenig Hitze oder Restwärme.
Verwende Kohlen und Briketts sehr sparsam,
da die Hitze sehr gut im Atago und unter der
Umluftkuppel gehalten wird.
MIT ATAGO ALS SMOKER
Lies die Anleitung der Räucherchips sorgfäl-
tig durch und wässere sie gegebenenfalls wie
in der Anleitung beschrieben. Beim Smoken
mit der Umluftkuppel solltest du zunächst
nur mit wenigen Holzchips arbeiten und die
Luftzufuhrregelung des Atagos schließen. Der
Vorgang sollte insgesamt sehr schonend ablau-
fen. Wir empfehlen, die Temperatur mit einem
Grill- und Bratenthermometer zu überprüfen.
Verwende Kohlen, Briketts und Smokechips
sehr sparsam, da die Hitze sehr gut im Atago
und unter der Umluftkuppel gehalten wird.
MIT FEUERTOPF
Platziere die Umluftkuppel über einem Feuertopf
ft9 oder kleiner. Unter und auf dem Feuertopf
sollten sich Kohlen oder Briketts befinden, die
die Hitze abgeben. Sorge dafür, dass die Kohlen
oder Briketts keinen direkten Kontakt mit der
Umluftkuppel haben (siehe Abbildung 3).

Thank you for purchasing the Petromax Con-
vection Lid! With your new convection lid you
can prepare delicious meals by placing it over
an Atago or the Dutch Oven (ft9 or smaller),
and thus building up heat for cooking. We are
convinced that you will greatly enjoy your new
Petromax Convection Lid and we hope that it
will make cooking outdoors even more varied.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this user manual carefully!
In order for you to enjoy your convection
lid for a long time, we advise that you
read the following instructions. This user
manual should be kept by the owner of the
Petromax Convection Lid and should always
be at hand during use.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
You can use the Petromax Convection Lid as a
convection oven or a smoker. For heat builds
up and circulates under the lid, you can cook,
bake or smoke with it in a particularly even
and energy-saving way. Thanks to the coated
inside and the close-meshed aramid fibres,
heat can hardly escape: It makes baking,
smoking and cooking outdoors just as success-
ful as in the oven at home.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Place the convection lid over a Petromax
Atago or the Petromax Dutch Ovens ft9 or
smaller.
• Caution! The convection lid builds up heat. It
can become extremely hot when used.
• Caution! When you remove the convection lid
from the fireplace, heat can escape quickly.
• Protect your hands and forearms with heat-
resistant gloves or a cloth, when touching the
convection lid. We recommend the Petromax
Aramid Pro 300 Gloves.
• Never leave the convection lid unattended
while it is in use. Watch over children and
animals close to the hot convection lid.
• Only use the convection lid over fireplaces in
the open air. Do not use indoors. Fire hazard
and danger of suffocation.
• Always comply with fire safety regulations.
Show consideration to plant and animal life
and to nature reserves when cooking out-
doors.
• Make sure you have a suitable fire-extin-
guishing agent nearby (water, sand, fire
blanket, fire extinguisher).
• Let the convection lid cool down completely
after use.
USE
We recommend that you use the convection
lid with our products Petromax Atago and
Petromax Dutch Ovens.
WITH ATAGO AS A COOKING DEVICE/
CONVECTION OVEN
Place the convection lid over an extended
Petromax Atago. Put down the convection lid
that is lies on the lower cylinder (see illustra-
tion 2). In combination with the Atago, the lid
is perfect for baking pizza or cooking fish, meat
and vegetables with little or residual heat.
Use coal and briquettes very economically,
for heat is very well kept inside the Atago and
under the convection lid.

Caution! Too high temperatures or
direct contact of burning coal with the
convection lid can damage the coating
of the product. Fire hazard!
WITH ATAGO AS A SMOKER
Read the user manual of the smoking chips
carefully and, if necessary, water them as
described in the user manual. When smoking
with the convection lid, use only few wood chips
at first and close the air supply control of the
Atago. The process should go very smoothly.
We recommend that you check the temperature
with a grilling and roasting thermometer.
Use coal, briquettes and smoking chips very
economically, for heat is kept very well inside
the Atago and under the convection lid.
WITH DUTCH OVEN
Place the convection lid over a Dutch Oven ft9
or smaller. Coal or briquettes are placed under
and on the Dutch Oven and release heat. Make
sure that the coal or briquettes are not in direct
contact with the convection lid (see illustra-
tion3).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CARE
• The inside of the convection lid can be wiped
with a damp cloth for removing soot, food
splashes, etc.
• Let the convection lid cool down completely
after use. Then it can be cleaned and folded
for space-saving storage.
• Do not wash the convection lid in the washing
machine.
WARRANTY
Under normal use, a warranty period of two
years will apply to your Petromax Convection
Lid from the date of purchase. If you cannot
properly use your Petromax Convection Lid due
to a defect in material or manufacturing, you
are entitled to a warranty repair. Contact your
dealer for that purpose.

MODE D’EMPLOI
Merci beaucoup d’avoir choisi le Dôme de
cuisson Petromax ! Tu peux préparer de déli-
cieux plats en recouvrant un Atago ou la
marmite en fonte (ft9 ou plus petite) de ton
nouveau dôme de cuisson, et en retenant ainsi
la chaleur pour faire mijoter des aliments.
Nous sommes convaincus que ton Dôme de
cuisson Petromax t’apportera totale satis-
faction et espérons qu’il permettra de varier
encore plus ta cuisine en plein air.
INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANTES
Lis attentivement ce mode d’emploi! Afin de
profiter longtemps de ton dôme de cuisson,
nous te recommandons de bien respecter
les consignes de sécurité suivantes. Ce
mode d’emploi doit être conservé par le
propriétaire de Dôme de cuisson Petromax
et doit être à portée de main à tout moment
pendant l’utilisation.
DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Tu peux utiliser le Dôme de cuisson Petromax
comme un four à chaleur tournante ou un
fumoir. La chaleur s’accumulant sous le
dôme et y circulant, il te permet de faire
mijoter, cuire et fumer des aliments de façon
très uniforme et en économisant l’énergie.
Grâce à la surface intérieure revêtue et aux
fibres d’aramide à mailles serrées, la chaleur
s’échappe à peine : il est possible de faire
cuire, fumer et mijoter des aliments en plein
air comme dans le four à la maison.
CONSEILS DE SÉCURITÉ
• Place le dôme de cuisson sur un Atago
Petromax ou sur la Marmite en fonte
Petromax ft9 ou plus petite.
• Attention ! Le dôme de cuisson retient la
chaleur. L’utilisation peut le rendre brûlant.
• Attention! Une fois le dôme retiré du foyer,
la chaleur peut s’échapper rapidement.
• Protège tes mains et avant-bras avec des
gants ou un tissu résistant à la chaleur
lorsque tu touches le dôme de cuisson. Nous
recommandons les Gants Aramid Pro 300
Petromax.
• Ne laisse jamais le dôme de cuisson sans sur-
veillance lorsqu’il est en train d’être utilisé.
Surveille enfants et animaux se trouvant à
proximité du dôme de cuisson chaud.
• N‘utilise le dôme de cuisson que sur des
foyers en plein air et jamais dans des espaces
fermés. Il existe un risque d’incendie et
d’étouffement.
• Informe-toi sur les règles de sécurité incendie
et respecte-les. Respecte la faune et la flore
et les zones naturelles protégées lorsque tu
cuisines dans la nature.
• Assure-toi d'avoir à proximité, au cas où, un
moyen d'extinction approprié (eau, sable,
couverture anti-feu, extincteur).
• Laisse bien refroidir le dôme de cuisson après
utilisation.
UTILISATION
Nous te recommandons d’utiliser le dôme de
cuisson avec nos produits Petromax Atago et les
Marmites en fonte Petromax.
AVEC ATAGO COMME DISPOSITIF DE
CUISSON / FOUR À CHALEUR TOUR-
NANTE
Place le dôme de cuisson sur un Atago Petromax
déplié. Place le dôme de cuisson de façon à ce
qu’il repose sur le cylindre inférieur (voir illus-
tration 2). Combiné à l’Atago, il est parfait pour
cuire une pizza ou faire mijoter du poisson, de
la viande et des légumes avec peu de chaleur

Attention ! Des températures trop
élevées ou un contact direct du charbon
incandescent avec le dôme de cuisson
peuvent endommager le revêtement
du produit. Risque d’incendie !
CONSIGNES D’ENTRETIEN
• Le dôme de cuisson peut être essuyé à
l’intérieur avec un chiffon humide pour
enlever par ex. de la suie ou des projections
de nourriture.
• Laisse bien refroidir le dôme de cuisson après
utilisation. Il peut ensuite être nettoyé et plié
pour être rangé sans encombrer.
• Ne pas laver le produit dans la machine à
laver.
GARANTIE
La durée de garantie est de deux ans à compter
de la date d’achat de ton Dôme de cuisson
Petromax dans le cadre d’une utilisation
normale. Si ton Dôme de cuisson Petromax ne
peut pas être utilisé correctement en raison de
défauts de fabrication ou de matériel, tu as
droit à une réparation. Contacte alors ton com-
merçant.

Utilise très peu de charbon et de briquettes, car
la chaleur est très bien conservée dans l’Atago
et sous le dôme de cuisson.
AVEC ATAGO COMME FUMOIR
Lis attentivement le mode d’emploi des copeaux
de fumage et humidifie-les le cas échéant
comme décrit dans le mode d’emploi. Pour
fumer des aliments avec le dôme de cuisson,
utilise d’abord peu de copeaux de bois et ferme
la régulation de l’arrivée d’air de l’Atago. Le
processus devrait se dérouler sans heurt. Nous
te recommandons de contrôler la température
avec un thermomètre à viande.
Utilise très peu de charbon, briquettes et
copeaux de fumage, car la chaleur est très
bien conservée dans l’Atago et sous le dôme
de cuisson.
AVEC MARMITE EN FONTE
Place le dôme de cuisson sur une marmite en
fonte ft9 ou plus petite. Du charbon ou des
briquettes émettant de la chaleur doivent se
trouver en dessous et sur la marmite en fonte.
Fais attention à ce que le charbon ou les briquet-
tes ne soient pas en contact direct avec le dôme
de cuisson (voir illustration 3).
