Postcards and Trifold Brochures
Postcards and trifold brochures can be printed only from the Multi-Purpose Tray (MPT). The
number of sheets that can be loaded in the Multi-Purpose Tray (MPT) is 25. To order Phaser®
Premium Postcards, Phaser Trifold Brochures, and other supplies, contact your local reseller
or visit the Xerox web site at: www.xerox.com/office/7300supplies.
Guidelines
■Store postcards and trifold brochures in their original packaging.
■Do not store postcards and trifold brochures in extremely dry or humid conditions or
extremely hot or cold conditions. Storing postcards and trifold brochures in extreme
conditions may cause them to jam in the printer or cause print quality problems.
■Rotate stock frequently. Long periods of storage in extreme conditions can cause the
postcards and trifold brochures to curl and jam the printer.
Note
Do not print on the indented or raised scores on the trifold brochures. Trifold brochures
should be folded over the raised scores.
Printing Postcards
Templates for postcards are available at www.colorconnection.xerox.com.
Note
Print the information side of the postcard first, then print the address side.
1. Open the Multi-Purpose Tray (MPT).
If you have been printing from the Multi-Purpose Tray (MPT), remove all existing paper.
Caution
If you change the type of paper in a tray, you must
change the paper type and size on the front panel to
match the paper that you loaded. If you fail to do this,
print-quality problems can occur and the fuser can
be damaged.
Caution
Remove the postcards or trifold brochures from their
packaging. Do not flip the postcards or trifold brochures over
when loading them. Flipping them over can cause the printer
to jam.

2. Fan the postcards to release sheets that may be stuck together.
3. Insert a maximum of 25 sheets in the Multi-Purpose Tray (MPT). Place the side to be
printed faceup with the long edge entering the printer first.
Note
For manual, 2-sided printing, reload the postcards in the Multi-Purpose Tray (MPT)
with the unprinted, second side faceup, with the long edge entering the printer first.
4. Adjust the guide for the paper length.
5. If you have not changed the type or size of paper, press the OK button to accept the current
paper type and size settings.
6. If you have changed the paper type or size, at the front panel:
a. Select Change, then press the OK button.
b. Select Thick Card Stock, then press the OK button.
c. Select the correct size, then press the OK button.
7. In the printer driver, select the paper type.

Printing Trifold Brochures
Templates for trifold brochures are available at www.colorconnection.xerox.com.
Note

1. Open the Multi-Purpose Tray (MPT).
