This function has been studied for the people with delicate and sensitive skin, for which also a
least residue of detergent can cause irritations or allergies.
It advises to also use this function for the children items and in case of washings of very dirty
items, for which it is due to use a lot of detergent, or in the washing of towelling items whose
fibers mostly have the tendency to hold the detergent.
This button is not available on specials programmes excluding the SPORTS programme.

1200/600 button
The machine gradually increases the final spin speed to the maximum possible speed.
The button reduces spin speed to 600 r.p.m.
Note:
This function is not available when the automatic washing/drying cycle is selected.
G
Note: this model is fitted with an electronic device that
checks the load is balanced correctly. If the load is
slightly unbalanced the machine will re-balance it
automatically to carry out the normal spin.
If, after several attempts, balance is not restored, a
reduced spin speed will be used.
If loads are seriously unbalanced the spin stage will be
cancelled.
This helps limit vibration, reduce noise output and
improve the washing machine’s lifespan.

10
DRYING TIME SELECTOR KNOB
Rotates in both directions
This knob sets a programme or a drying time up to a max.
120 minutes with a cool down final phase of 10 minutes.
If the drying time is selected before or during the wash cycle
the machine will automatically commence the drying
programme.
If a programme has been selected which does not enable the automatic drying phase (e.g.
Delicate and Woollens programmes or a drain programme),at the end of the wash cycle the
light STOP will go on and will not carry out the drying cycle.
NOTE: THE DRYING TIME SELECTOR KNOB MUST BE RETURN TO THE OFF
POSITION ( ) AT THE END OF EACH DRYING CYCLE.
USEFUL TIPS:
The 30 minute drying programme is recommended for small loads (less than 1 kg) or
slightly damp loads.
Your washer-dryer ends the cycle automatically when it reaches the drying level or time
selected.
For the correct operation of the appliance, it is preferable not to interrupt the drying phase
unless it is really necessary
Do not dry unwashed items in the washer dryer.
Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol,
kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers should be washed in hot
water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the washer dryer.
Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed
articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the washer
dryer.
Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specified by the fabric softener
instructions.
The final part of a washer dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool down cycle) to ensure that
the items are left at a temperature that ensures that the items will not be damaged.
WARNING:
Never stop a washer dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are
quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.

Programme selector
For the various types of fabrics and various degrees of dirt the washing machine has different
programme bands according to: wash cycle, temperature and length of cycle (see table of
washing cycle programmes).
RESISTANTS FABRICS
The programmes have been designed for a maximum wash and the rinses,
with spin intervals, ensure perfect rinsing.
The final spin gives more efficient removal of water.
AA SPECIAL PROGRAMME AT 40°C
This special programme, with a duration that reaching the 3 hours, has
been studied to allow you to obtain the best washing performance, even at
full load, as the 60°C Cotton programme (the normative cycle), but with the
advantage of an energy saving due to 40°C temperature, instead of 60°C.
MIXED AND SYNTHETIC FABRICS
The main wash and rinse gives the best results thanks to the rotation
rhythms of the drum and to the water levels.
A gentle spin will mean that the fabrics become less creased.
SPECIAL DELICATE FIBRES
This is a new wash cycle which alternates washing and soaking and is
particularly recommended for very delicate fabrics. The wash cycle and
rinses are carried out with high water levels to ensure best results.

a maximum temperature of 40° and concludes with 3 rinses and a short spin.
SPECIAL “HAND WASH”
This washing machine also has a gentle Hand Wash programme cycle. This
programme allows a complete washing cycle for garments specified as
“Hand Wash only” on the fabric care label. The programme has a
temperature of 30°C and concludes with 3 rinses and a slow spin.
SPECIAL SILK PROGRAMME
This washing machine also has a gentle Silk programme cycle. This
programme allows a complete washing cycle for laundry items made from
Silk on the fabric label.
The programme has a maximum temperature of 30° and concludes with 3
rinses and no final spin.
SPORTS
The washing machine has a unique Sportswear programme. It is specially
designed to wash mixed sportswear fabrics that cannot be washed on hotter
programmes and is designed to remove the soil and staining created by
participation in sports activities. This programme, with a duration that
reaching the 2 hours, starts with a cold prewash that breaks down and
loosens any excess dirt and then washes at a cool 30°C, rinses and spins
slowly for the best care of your heavily soiled, delicate garments.
“A” WASH 59 '
This specially designed programme maintains the high quality wash
performance identified with the “A” rating whilst greatly reducing the wash
time. The progrramme is designed for a maximum load of 3 kg with a
temperature of 60°C and concludes with 2 rinses and a high speed spin
sequence.
16

DAILY WASH 40°C – FAST PROGRAMMES
By maintaining exceptional washing performance, these programmes allow
you to know in advance the necessary time for your everyday laundry. In fact,
this washing machine is equipped wit 2 daily rapid programmes at 40°C, that
were just studied for lightly soiled fabrics and medium or little load.
DAILY WASH 40°C – FAST 44’
A complete washing cycle (wash, rinse and spin), able to wash in
approximately 44 minutes:
- a maximum load of 3,5 kg;
- lightly soiled fabrics (cotton and mixed fabrics)
We recommend, with this programme, a 30% detergent loading dose
(compared to the normal one), in order to avoid detergent waste.
DAILY WASH 40°C – FAST 29’
A complete washing cycle (wash, rinse and spin), able to wash in
approximately 29 minutes:
- a maximum load of 2 kg;
- lightly soiled fabrics (cotton and mixed fabrics)
We recommend, with this programme, a 20% detergent loading dose
(compared to the normal one), in order to avoid detergent waste.
Automatic Variable Capacity
The washing machine is fitted with an automatic reduction in consumption system (known as
Automatic Variable Capacity).
This system enables the machine to use the amount of water needed to wash and rinse the
laundry in relation to the particular load.
This results in a reduction in the amount of water used and electricity needed to heat it to the
minimum required, without in any way compromising the washing and rinsing performance.
In fact the amount of water and electricity used will always be appropriate for the amount of
washing.
The washing machine therefore ensures you achieve excellent washing results whilst
respecting the environment and saving you money.
17

Detergent drawer
The detergent drawer is split into 3 compartments:
- the compartment labelled "I" is for prewash detergent;
- the compartment labelled " " is for special additives,
fabric softeners, fragrances, starch, brighteners etc;
- the compartment labelled "II" is for main wash
detergent.
NOTE:
Some Detergents are Difficult to
utilise. Ensure to use an in drum
dispenser if recommended by
the detergent Manufacturer.
Note: only put liquid products in the compartment
labelled “ ”. The machine is programmed to
automatically take up additives during the final rinse
stage for all wash cycles.
18

Useful advice for users
Tips on using your domestic appliance in the most environmentally-friendly and economical
way
Do a full load in your washing machine
To prevent any possible waste of energy, water or detergent we recommend that you put a
full load in your washing machine, not exceed the recommended maximum load size.
Up to 50% energy saving can be made with one full load compared to two half load washes
When is prewashing really needed?
Only with particularly dirty loads!
Energy savings of 5 to 15% are made by not selecting the prewash option for normal soiled
laundry.
Which wash temperature should you choose?
Using stain removers before machine washing reduces the need to wash at temperatures
over 60°C.
Energy savings of up to 50% can be made by using a 60°C wash temperature rather than
90°C.
Before using a drying programme...
SAVE energy and time by selecting a high spin speed to reduce the water content in laundry
before using a drying programme.
