maker in the best way to brew delicious coffee. Enjoy!
Important
Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future reference.
Danger
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Warning
Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before
you connect the appliance.
Do not use the appliance if the plug, the cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Keep the mains cord out of the reach of children. Do not let the mains cord hang over the edge

Preparing for use
1 Puttheapplianceonaatandstablesurface.
2 Putthepluginanearthedwallsocket.
It is possible that the appliance is switched on (light goes on) when you put the plug in the wall
socket. If this is the case, the appliance cannot be switched off manually but will be switched off
automatically after approximately 30 seconds (light goes out).

During brewing, you can only switch the appliance off by removing the mains plug from the wall
socket.When you reinsert the plug into the wall socket, the appliance will continue brewing until the
water tank is empty.

Using the thermos jug
The best way to keep the coffee hot is to rinse the jug with hot water before brewing and to brew
a full jug.

Note: To remove stubborn brown deposits, ll the jug with hot water and add a spoonful of soda. Leave
the soda to do its work for some time. Then empty the jug and remove the deposits with a soft brush.
Rinse the thermos jug with fresh hot water.
Descaling
Regular descaling will prolong the life of the appliance and will guarantee optimal brewing results for
a long time.
In case of normal use (two full jugs of coffee every day), descale the coffee maker:
once every month if you are using hard water;
onceevery4monthsifyouareusingsoftwater.
Turn to your local water board for information about the water hardness in your area.

Troubleshooting
If problems should arise with your coffee maker and you are unable to solve them by means of the
troubleshooting guide below, please contact the nearest Philips service centre or the Philips
Customer Care Centre in your country.
Problem Solution
The light is on and cannot
be switched off.
The appliance is equipped with an automatic shut-off function and
cannot be switched off manually.The appliance switches off
automatically after brewing (when the water tank is empty) and the
light goes out. If problems occur during brewing, you can only switch
the appliance off by removing the mains plug from the wall socket.
Brewing coffee takes

Persiapan penggunaan

Mungkin saja alat telah dihidupkan (lampu terus menyala) saat Anda memasukkan steker ke
stopkontak dinding. Jika demikian halnya, alat tidak dapat dimatikan secara manual melainkan secara
otomatis setelah kurang lebih 30 detik (lampu padam).

Menggunakan alat
Menyeduh kopi

Catatan: Sebagian versi dilengkapi saringan permanen. Dalam hal ini Anda tidak usah memakai kertas
saringan.

Untuk cangkir besar: gunakan satu sendok ukur penuh kopi bubuk untuk setiap cangkirnya.
Untuk cangkir kecil: gunakan satu level sendok ukur kopi bubuk untuk setiap cangkirnya.

Letakkan tabung dalam alat dengan pegangan menunjuk lurus ke depan atau ke kanan. Pastikan tutup
tabung dalam posisi ‘tutup/seduh’ r.

setelahmenyeduh(Gbr.13).
Selama menyeduh, Anda hanya bisa mematikan alat dengan mencabut kabel listriknya dari
stopkontak di dinding. Bila Anda memasukkannya kembali ke stopkontak, alat akan melanjutkan
penyeduhan hingga tangki airnya kosong.

Menggunakan teko panas
Cara terbaik untuk menjaga kopi tetap panas adalah membilas tabungnya dengan air panas sebelum
menyeduh dan menyeduh setabung penuh.

5 Setelahmembersihkan,bilastabungtermosdenganairpanasbaru.
Catatan: Untuk menghilangkan endapan coklat yang membandel, isilah tabung dengan air panas dan
tambahkan sesendok penuh soda. Biarkan soda bereaksi beberapa saat. Kemudian kosongkan tabung
dan buang endapan tersebut dengan sikat lembut. Bilas tabung termos dengan air panas baru.
Menghilangkan kerak
Menghilangkan kerak secara teratur akan memperpanjang masa pakai alat dan akan menjamin hasil
seduhan yang optimal dalam waktu lama.
Pada pengunaan normal, (dua teko penuh kopi per hari), hilangkan kerak alat pembuat kopi:
sebulan sekali jika Anda menggunakan air dengan kesadahan tinggi;
setiap4bulansekalijikaAndamenggunakanairdengankesadahanrendah.
Tanyakan kepada dinas air setempat untuk mengetahui kekasaran air di wilayah Anda.

Lampunya menyala dan
tidak dapat dimatikan.
Alat dilengkapi dengan fungsi mematikan otomatis dan tidak dapat
dimatikan secara manual. Alat mati secara otomatis setelah menyeduh
(bila tangki airnya sudah kosong) dan lampunya padam. Jika terjadi
masalah selama menyeduh, Anda hanya dapat mematikan alat dengan
melepas kabel listriknya dari stopkontak dinding.
Menyeduh kopi butuh
lebih lama dari biasanya.
Alat perlu dibuang keraknya (lihat bab ‘Membersihkan kerak’).
Pembuat kopi mati

사용 전 준비
1 제품은 평평하고 안정적인 곳에 놓으십시오.
2 전원 플러그를 벽면 콘센트에 꽂으십시오.
전원플러그가벽면콘센트에꽂혀있을때제품의전원이켜져있을수있습니다(표시등
켜짐).이경우제품의전원을수동으로끌수는없지만약30초후전원은자동으로꺼집
니다(표시등꺼짐).
사용하지 않는 전원 코드는 커피메이커 뒷면에 있는 코드보관함에 넣어두십시오 (그
림 2).
전원 코드가 뜨거운 곳에 접촉하지 않도록 주의하십시오.
최초 사용 전 세척
1 물 탱크에 물을 절반까지 채운 다음 용기를 제자리에 놓으십시오. (그림 3)
2 전원 버튼을 눌러 제품의 전원을 켜십시오. 표시등이 켜집니다. 물탱크가 완전히 비
워질 때까지 제품을 작동시키십시오 (그림 4).
커피 추출이 완료되면 제품의 전원은 자동으로 꺼집니다.
3 최소 3분 동안 제품을 식힌 다음 커피를 끓이십시오.
제품 사용
커피 끓이기
1 물 탱크에 물을 채우십시오 (그림 5).
왼쪽 수위 눈금은 큰 컵(120 ml)을 사용할 경우에 적용됩니다 (그림 6).
오른쪽 수위 눈금은 작은 컵(80 ml)을 사용할 경우에 적용됩니다.
2 필터 거치대를 여십시오 (그림 7).
3 종이 필터(1x4 또는 no.4 규격제품)를 준비하십시오. 종이 필터가 찢어지거나 접히
지 않도록 봉해진 가장자리를 접어서 사용하십시오 (그림 8).
4 필터를 필터 거치대에 넣으십시오 (그림 9).
참고: 일부 모델의 경우 영구 필터가 장착되어 있습니다. 이러한 경우에는 종이 필터를
사용하지 마십시오.
5 미리 갈아 놓은 원두 커피(필터용 분쇄)를 필터에 넣으십시오. (그림 10)
큰컵을사용하는경우:커피1잔당계량스푼으로듬뿍담은한스푼이적당합니다.
작은컵을사용하는경우:커피1잔당계량스푼으로깎아담은한스푼이적당합니
다.
6 필터 홀더를 닫으십시오. (그림 11)
7 용기를 제자리에 놓으십시오 (그림 12).
제품용기의손잡이가앞쪽이나오른쪽으로가도록놓으십시오.용기뚜껑이‘closed/
brewing(닫힘/끓임)’위치에있는지확인하십시오r.
8 전원 버튼을 눌러 제품의 전원을 켜십시오. 커피 추출이 완료되면 제품 전원이 자동
으로 꺼집니다 (그림 13).
커피를끓이는도중에벽면콘센트에서전원플러그를뽑으면제품의전원이꺼집니다.
벽면콘센트에플러그를다시꽂으면물탱크가비워질때까지계속해서커피를추출합
니다.
9 커피가 필터를 통해 다 내려오면, 용기를 본체에서 꺼낼 수 있습니다 (그림 14).
