Feature Highlights
Built-In Dolby™digital decoder with 6-channel
analog output
Decoder supplies the 5.1 channel outputs that can be connected directly
to 5 amplifiers and a powered subwoofer or a Dolby Digital-ready
receiver. Internal controls include speaker, subwoofer on/off and -10dB,
delay for center and surrounds, volume for center and surrounds.
Component video output
YUV - 3 jack output connection that provides maximum signal quality
and enhanced color accuracy. Better performance than s-video connec-
tion. Requires TV with compatible component video input.
10Bit video and 24Bit audio DAC
Highest quality video. Digital to analogue converter converts the digital
video information in 10 bit format versus 8 or 9 bit. Highest quality
audio. Digital to analogue converter converts the digital audio informa-
tion in 24 bit format versus 16 or 20 bit.
DTS sound compatibility
Digital Theater Sound offers loss-less compressed multi-channel (5.1)
sound. Able to read the DTS signal and pass through to outboard DTS
decoder (processor or receiver).
Digital zoom
Zoom in on a selected area of the screen for a closer look. Philips
Magnavox digital zoom offers 3 zoom levels and operates during freeze
frame and while the picture is playing.
Virtual 3D surround
3D sound using Spatializer technology creates virtual surround effect
with 2 speaker systems or stereo headphones.
