Introduction
◗With your new Satinelle super sensitive you can remove
unwanted hairs quickly and effectively in an extra-gentle way.
◗The new double-active pain softener relaxes your skin like a
massage, thereby more effectively masking the sensation of
epilation.As a result, you will hardly feel any pain.
◗The rapidly rotating epilating discs catch even the shortest hairs
(even as short as half a millimetre!) and quickly remove them by
the root.As a result, your skin stays smooth for up to four weeks
and regrowth is soft and downy.

◗Check if the mains voltage indicated on the adapter plug
corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the

◗Make sure the appliance does not come into contact with water.
◗To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away
from your hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords,
brushes etc.
◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
◗Only use the appliance in combination with the adapter plug
supplied .
◗If the adapter plug of this appliance is damaged, it may only be
replaced with an adapter plug of the original type.Turn to your
Philips dealer or a the Philips Customer Care Centre in your
country for replacement.
◗Do not expose the appliance to temperatures lower than 5cC or
higher than 35cC.
◗Do not use the epilating head on irritated skin or skin with
varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds
without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced
immune response, e.g. during pregnancy, or people who suffer
from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should
also consult their doctor first.
◗Your skin may become a little red and irritated the first few times
you use the epilator.This phenomenon is absolutely normal and
will quickly disappear.As you use the appliance more often, your
skin will get used to epilation, skin irritation will decrease and
regrowth will become thinner and softer. If the irritation has not
disappeared within three days, we advise you to consult a doctor.
◗Regular massages with a loofah may help to prevent ingrowing
hairs. Do not use the loofah immediately before or after
epilation.
◗Only epilate the underarms and bikini line with the precision cap
(B) attached (type HP6444 only).

Using the appliance
General information about epilation
◗Epilating with the Satinelle super sensitive will leave your skin
smooth and hair-free for weeks.As epilation may cause skin
irritation or ingrown hairs in some women, we advise you to read
the text below.
◗When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to
try it out on an area with only light hair growth to get
accustomed to the epilation process.
◗This appliance has been extensively tested on the underarms and
the bikini line. Some women will develop skin irritation when
they epilate these areas for the first time.We therefore advise
you to try out the appliance on a small patch of skin first.
◗After epilation you can apply a mild cream or body milk to
soothe your skin and reduce skin irritation.
◗Epilation is easier just after taking a bath or shower. Make sure
your skin is completely dry when you start epilating.
◗We advise you to epilate before going to bed at night, as this will
allow any skin irritation that may develop to diminish overnight.
How to use the epilator
◗Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease.
Do not use any cream before you start epilating.
1Put the adapter plug (J) in the wall socket.
2Insert the appliance plug (H) into the inlet socket (G) (fig. 2).
3Remove the protective cap (A) (fig. 3).
4Switch the appliance on by pushing the on/off slide (F) to the
desired speed setting.
Select speed I (fig. 4) for areas with little hair growth and for areas
where bones are located directly beneath the skin, such as knees and
ankles. Select speed II (fig. 5) for larger areas with stronger hair growth.

5Stretch the skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand
upright (fig. 6).
6Place the epilating head (D) perpendicularly onto the skin so that
the epilating head (D) and the pain softener (E) are in proper
contact with the skin.
7Move the appliance slowly, with the pain softener (E) pointing
forwards, against the direction of hair growth. Do not exert any
pressure.
8Stretch your leg when you are epilating the back of your knee.
9Switch the appliance off by pushing the on/off slide (F) to O
(fig. 7).
Epilating underarms and bikini line
Type HP6444 comes with a precision cap (B).This precision cap
reduces the number of epilating discs that are active and stretches the
skin during epilating. It is particularly suitable when epilating underarms
and bikini line.You will get the best results when the hairs are not too
long (max. 1 cm).
1Switch the appliance off (fig. 7).
2Slide the pain softener for epilating legs (E) off the appliance with
your thumbs (fig. 8).
3Fit the pain softener for epilating underarms and bikini line (C)
onto the appliance (fig. 9).
4Place the precision cap (B) onto the appliance (fig. 10) The
precision cap can only be fitted onto the appliance in one way.
5Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired speed.We advise
you to use speed II (fig. 5).
6Stretch the skin with your free hand (fig. 6)
7Place the appliance perpendicularly onto your skin, without
exerting any pressure (figs 11 and 12). Make sure both the
epilating discs (D) and the pain softener (E) are in proper contact
with the skin.

8Move the appliance slowly over your skin against the direction of
hair growth.
Cleaning
Do not use any corrosive detergents, scouring pads or cloths, petrol,
acetone etc. to clean the appliance. Regular cleaning guarantees the
best results and a long life for your appliance.
1Switch the appliance off and pull the adapter plug (J) out of the
wall socket.
2Type HP6444 only: remove the precision cap (B) (fig. 13).
3Remove the epilating head (D). Grab the epilating head by the
ribbed sections and move it in the direction of the arrow
indicated on the epilating head (fig. 14).
4Clean all accessible parts and the epilating discs (D) with the
brush (K) (fig. 15).
Never try to remove the epilating discs from the epilating head (D).
5Place the epilating head (D) on the appliance and move it against
the direction of the arrow indicated on the epilating head until it
snaps home.
The epilating head (D) can only be fitted onto the appliance in one way.
Storage
1Put the protective cap (A) back onto the appliance after use
(fig. 16).
2Put the appliance and its accessories into the bag supplied with
the appliance.

Depilacja obszarów pod pachami i okolic bikini
Depilator HP 6444 wyposażony jest w nasadkę do precyzyjnej depilacji
(B).Ta nasadka zmniejsza licz ę aktywnych dysków depilacyjnych i

◗Nu folosiţi capul epilator dacă suprafaţa pielii unde doriţi să vă

lucru este valabil şi pentru persoanele cu imunitate scăzută, de ex.
în cazul femeilor gravide sau persoanelor care suferă de diabet,

◗Pielea se poate înroşi şi se poate irita după primele epilări.Acest
fenomen este absolut normal şi va dispărea repede. Pe măsură ce
veţi folosi aparatul, pielea se va obişnui cu epilarea, iritaţiile vor fi
mai reduse, iar părul ce va creşte din nou va fi mai subţire şi mai
fin. acă iritaţia nu dispare după trei zile, vă sfătuim să consultaţi
un medic.
◗Pentru prevenirea creşterii firelor de păr sub piele masaţi-vă
pielea în mod regulat cu o loofa. Nu vă masaţi pielea înainte sau
imediat după epilare.
◗Folosiţi capul de precizie (B) pentru epilarea zonei axilare şi
inghinale (doar model HP6444).

Utili area aparatului
Informaţii generale despre epilare
◗upă epilarea cu Satinelle super sensitive, pielea dumneavoastră
va rămâne netedă, fără păr, timp de câteva săptămâni. Întrucât unele
femei se pot irita pe suprafaţa pielii sau firele de păr pot creşte
sub piele, vă recomandăm să citiţi cu atenţie textul următor.
◗Când vă epilaţi prima dată, vă sfătuim să începeţi cu o zonă cu mai
puţin păr pentru a vă acomoda cu această metodă de epilare.
◗Acest aparat a fost îndelung testat pe axile şi pe zona inghinală.
Unor femei le pot apărea iritaţii când se epilează în aceste zone
pentru prima oară. Este recomandat să se utilizeze aparatul mai
întâi pe o porţiune mică.
◗upă epilare, puteţi aplica o cremă uşoară sau un lapte de corp
pentru a calma pielea şi a reduce eventualele iritaţii.
◗Firele de păr pot fi smulse mai uşor dacă faceţi un duş înainte.

Utilizarea aparatului
◗Pielea trebuie să fie curată, uscată şi degresată. Nu folosiţi creme
înainte de a începe epilarea.
1Introduceţi adaptorul (J) în priză.
2Introduceţi fişa cablului (H) în mufa aparatului (G) (fig. 2).
3Scoateţi capacul protector (A) (fig. 3).
4Porniţi aparatul poziţionând butonul pornire/oprire (F) pe viteza
dorită.
Selecţionaţi viteza I (fig. 4) pentru zonele cu păr puţin şi pentru zonele
osoase cum ar fi genunchii şi gleznele. Selecţionaţi viteza II (fig. 5) pentru
zonele mai mari cu păr mai mult.
